Last night I watched a docu-movie on the Bikram yoga guy... he was a megalomaniac who fled the US after building his empire and making millions. He had been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and rape. Then I watched a movie about the teenagers back in 2012 who were passing images around social media of a girl who had been raped by a couple of guys from that town's football team. Ugh. They had raped a 14 y/o earlier the same year, and both young men got less than two years. Know of any good comedies I could maybe watch? Right now I am done in... Good night, friends

We have gone into total lockdown again for three days. Someone bought in this new Indian strain of virus. They gave us six hours notice and shops were packed, many car accidents due to panic. It took me two hours to get home. Usually takes between half an hour to an hour max depending on traffic and time.

I want to believe in Jesus and the impossibilities that can become possible in this world because of His words but I don't know what is keeping me doubting His goodness. Something just makes me think that, it's about His love for all mankind despite their beliefs. There are people who do find direction and peace just by meditation and surrendering their problems to a 'greater force' not necessarily Jesus Christ. I don't know what to say about that. We thumping our Bibles and preaching out loud about Jesus ....how does it bring a total spiritual change in someone's life? How does it make Jesus above everything that they could reach out to? And if they get their peace by doing meditation, yoga and such things. Why would they want to seek Jesus ?

The short answer to your question is that we're all going to die one day because of sin, and Jesus is the only sinless sacrifice which can atone for our sins, and he is the one who defeated death as well.
This is what separates him from all others, and this is why the whole world needs him.

If any of you could say a prayer for me for physical strength today, then I would greatly appreciate it.
Been really busy lately, while not sleeping much, and I need to make a slightly more than 4 hour drive later this afternoon because 2 of my children and I are heading out of state for a 5 day mini-vacation.
Just want to make it there in one piece.
