We have an inflatable duck that we fill up with water and place in the bathtub to bathe our 9 month old grandson. He has little squeak toys that float and he likes to play with them in his duck tub. He even likes to play in it outside of the bath tub with no water. :giggle:

According to this website, historians, astronomers and the prophet Daniel point to the crucifixion occurring on April 3, 33 A.D.

https://revelation-now.org/crucifixion-date-jesus-april-resurection/

It kind of makes sense to me because Jesus has an association with the number 3. He is the third person in the Trinity, he was 33 years old, he rose on the 3rd day, etc..

Thanks Zero, there seems to be debate on whether the above is true or whether Christ was born 3BC and died 30AD. I dont know which one is correct. Lots of stuff on google about this. I wont post it in case it turns into a debate o_Oo_Oo_O

The interesting part of answering this question is that the bible doesn't tell us. Yet we do know when all the events roughly occurred. There isn't any dates in secular writings from that time either that help give us an exact time frame of Jesus birth.

So we are left with Bishop Ushers dates (1600's) and whether he got it right or not. I think he did a great job considering the methods he had at his disposal at the time. Does this make his estimation correct though?

It seems it comes down to when did Herod the Great die? Most scholars today seem to be in agreement that Herod died around the 4BC mark. Therefore making the birth of Jesus around that time.

We have to look at the evidence ourselves and decide which is more valid. Personally I go with the 4 BC but I could be wrong. But in the end it makes no difference it's just a matter of which man got their dates right or wrong, The bible doesn't tell us and early christian writers don't state the year either.

Sorry if that hasn't helped any, but it is what it is lol

How's everyone's weekend going so far.. Blessed I hope! (y)

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24:-26).

Time to do some house work here :(, it's badly needing it lol. I don't understand how I go to other folks homes and they are sitting spotless, yet even when I tidy mine it still looks a mess :eek::unsure::unsure::unsure:

Ah well, I'll have a cup of tea while I ponder on the solution.

I did house work as well today. I find if I reduce having unnecessary things the house is so much easier to keep clean. I think we all have to much unnecessary things lying about. I need to find a dog like this

I think I need the dog and the cat :D:unsure:. Yeah your right about clutter (stuff), just looking in my living room I have a pile of stuff I don't even need and to be honest most of it is just junk lol.

A while back back I watched some youtube videos on 'minimalism'. I can remember telling myself that I need to have a major clear out as less things means less things to worry about (or clean).

I think your right ruby. Now to decide what needs to go.....:cry::cry::LOL::ROFL:

I gave it a quick look, but did not read it.

Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday and not a Friday.

A tiny bunny has moved in and is living in a shed I have in the back yard, it was a tiny hole he found and now I cannot repair the hole as it is it's front door, oh well.
Compassion is called for since it isn't easy being a rabbit, they so often end up being food for something-

Hey...

I've been going back and forth in my mind since yesterday as to whether or not I should say something here, and I think that it's only right that I do because some people here were praying for my vacation with my children.

Without going into all of the heart-wrenching details, for some reason, just as we were about to leave for our vacation yesterday, my son started acting extremely cold-hearted and, for lack of a more polite word, evil, and he stubbornly refused to leave for our vacation, even after I and others tried to reason with him for almost two hours.

As a result, I am home, and I had to cancel our reservations last night.

I would humbly ask any of you to please pray for both my son and me because I honestly cannot believe what transpired yesterday. I've told my son a multitude of times over the years how proud I am of him, especially in relation to his good heart. What I saw yesterday was horrific, and I would have never believed that my son was capable of such cold-hearted behavior.

Anyhow, again, if any of you would be willing to pray for both my son and me, then I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
