Tacos for breakfast :eek:o_Oo_O
Yes. It's quite common here in the Western Hemisphere. :)

You can NEVER go wrong serving Tacos: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or, pretty much anytime.

Tacos are ONE of the FIVE major food groups.

1) Pizza
2) Chocolate
3) Ice Cream
4) Tacos
5) Fried Chicken

You know we hardly have mexican food here. It doesn't seem to be popular. The well known dish would be Nacho's and they aren't that popular.

I would say our popular foods would be:

seafood
lamb
salads
fish and chips
I'm struggling to think of another one.

I dont know now. I have been doing laundry and closed that window of gifs.
You have eaten the donuts now so it doesn't count anymore :giggle:
Here have a coffee instead :coffee:
No, it doesn't really matter.

More than anything else, I made that 'looking' post to illustrate just how dedicated you are to finding a good gif to post in the hope of adding a smile to someone's face.

I-for-one appreciate 'ya! :) (y) <3

I hope you have a wonderful day!

well. if it isn't our 'Bama gal ♥

darlin', occasionally i do some reading here, and i'm sad and sorry about what you're going through. i have prayed for you all. let me know if there's any way in which i can serve you.

i'm not here much (playing with the grandkids is pretty high on the old priority list :) ), and i have to say how absolutely pleased i am to talk to you. makes me happy!!

(ps-- let's us both avoid the news forum. it's a traaaap! you can't hardly win for losing in there, lol!)
Thanks for your kind words. I’ve been wondering if you were still at cc. As for me I’ve been on and off like a billion times.

It must be so wonderful having grandkids. My kids are almost grown now so I reckon there’s a possibility that I can prepare for grandma status inside the next few years.😀

Said with a Texas drawl:

Sounds like y'all need to expand your menu a tad - starting with some TEX-MEX... :D

Is Tex-Mex Mexican?
I think that the foods may be healthier here. My sister and I went to Canada/America many years ago and we were surprised at the foods there o_Oo_Oo_O

NO!

But they are based on the same style of foods. Mexican food is the normal foods served in Mexico. Tex-Mex is a style of foods that mix Mexican and Western cooking. I prefer Tex-Mex and used to be a Tex-Mex Chef. A lot of Tex-Mex cooks add their own twists to the Recipes they prepare, so the actual taste can vary from one to another.

lol this thread has turned into a foodie thread.

Are you serious about eating possum?
I have one that comes in from the bush and walks across the front patio. He is huge, a real monster.

I think he is just "pulling your leg" to see if you will say "EWWW"...

Almost no one in the U.S. actually eats possum AFAIK.

However, there are a lot of 'road-kill' jokes that include possum on the menu - along with skunk and other small animals...

It's probably what they do with the Indian and Chinese food here. Westernise it.
Many authentically-prepared 'cultural' foods may be found here. And, of course, for at least most of them, there may be found a 'westernized" version also.
