Jesus gave us an illustration of THE WIND in John 3:8 saying "So is every one that is born of the Spirit"

GOD commanded the Prophet Ezekiel to "Prophesy unto THE WIND, prophesy, son of man, and say to THE WIND, Thus saith the LORD GOD; Come from the four WINDS, O breath, an breathe upon these slain, that they may live" in Ezekiel 37:9.

"...So is every one that is born of the Spirit" (John 3:8)!

The Prophet Ezekiel's prophecy was FULFILLED on the Day of Pentecost when [paraphrasing] "Suddenly THE WIND filled the house where they were sitting" (Acts 2:2) "And the were all filled with the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:4).

"...So is every one that is born of the Spirit" (John 3:8)!

Jesus promised "...but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost..." (Acts 1:5) and "...ye shall receive POWER after that the Holy Ghost comes upon you: and ye shall be a WITNESS UNTO ME..." (Acts 1:8).

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He POWER [Received after Holy Spirit baptism; Acts 1:5; 8] to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

Which were BORN ["Again" John 3:5-8; I Peter 1:23], not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but OF GOD" (John 1:12-13)!

"For by One Spirit are we all baptized into One body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into One Spirit" (I Corinthians 12:13)!

"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His" (Romans 8:9).

(Acts 2:2) "And the were all filled with the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:4).

"...So is every one that is born of the Spirit" (John 3:8)!
You are mixing again! There is a DIFFERENCE in being born of the spirit, that is regeneration, and being filled with the Spirit wish is the anointing UPON. Don't take my word for it, go LOOK: ever instance of the baptism in the spirit of filling of the spirit (same thing called by two titles) Luke wrote "On" or "Upon." He never wrote "in" or "within."
Look, ANYONE can pull scriptures out of their context and make them fit some theory. But that is not wise.

"Again and again I sent all my servants the prophets to you. They said, “Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.” But you have not paid attention or listened to me" (Jeremiah 35:15).

Where did I overthrow the Word of God when it was there all the time?

NEW REVELATION HAS BEEN SENT INTO THE EARTH (Ephesians 4:11-13)!
In your attempt at interpretation of the scriptures .
Yep that New revelation is Jesus. (Hebrews 1:1&2).

Before the cross, which includes the Synoptic gospel of Luke "(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)" (John 7:39) which didn't happen until after the cross when Jesus RETURNED in the glory of the Holy Ghost as promised (John 14:18; 26) and began "giving commandments through the Holy Ghost to those He'd chosen" (Acts 1:2) which is called "communion" (II Corinthians 13:14) [But that's another subject. 😊] that is "revelation." Afterwards, His Spirit "dwells INSIDE of us" (Romans 8:9) for "It is GOD working in us" (Philippians 2:13) "causing us to keep His commandments" (Ezekiel 36:27 that He gives through the Holy Ghost to those He's chosen" (Acts 1:2) that are not always from A BOOK (John 16:13).

Being born of the spirit, is when His POWER comes upon us (Acts 1:8) the day He "chooses and ordains us" (John 15:16) and "He baptizes us with the Holy Ghost" (John 1:33) like as a defibrillator's power quickens a physical body back to life His "POWER comes upon (Acts 1:8) our "DEAD spirits" (Romans 5:12-14; I Corinthians 15:21-22) Who "QUICKENS" us (I Corinthians 15:45) "back to life" (Ephesians 2:1) as we are "born again of the spirit" (John 3:5-7) and are "resurrected from our graves" (Ezekiel 27:12-14) IAW I Corinthians Chapter 15.

GOD IS PULLING SCRIPTURES TOGETHER IAW WITH ISAIAH 8:20 AS HE "REVEALS BY HIS SPIRIT" (I CORINTHIANS 2:10)!

Blessings

Yep that New revelation is Jesus. (Hebrews 1:1&2).
"GOD reveals by His Spirit" (I Corinthians 2:10) with "no private interpretations" (II Peter 1:20-21) through those He "moves by the Holy Ghost" (II Peter 1:20-21).

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more" (II Corinthians 5:16) who is now the "another Comforter" (John 14:16) saying "I will not leave you Comfortless , I will come to you" (John 14:18) with John 14:26 saying "But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost..." (John 14:26). Therefore Jesus is the Holy Ghost who is GOD (John 4:24).

Therefore Jesus gives commandments through the Holy Ghost to those He's chosen" (Acts 1:2) and with Jesus being the Holy Ghost (John 14:18;26) "Hath in these last days spoke unto us by His Son..." (Hebrews 1:2) through those He "sets in the Church" (I Corinthians 12:28).

#Cognitive dissonance much...?
You say that but offer your interpretation. I guess you contend that your interpretation is the literal understanding. However that is way off.

"When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind." (Mark 3:21).
"Accuser of the brethren" much (Revelation 12:10)? Well at least I'm in good Company (Mark 3:21)!

How can the Word of God given be "way off" when it witnesses other Scriptures yet today's Christians' beliefs contradict other Scriptures?

Therefore it's not true that "The Holy Spirit baptism in Acts 1:5 was to empower the 11 to preach with signs and wonders, as required to preach to Israel" when Jesus gives all He's "chosen and ordained" (John 15:16) when "He baptizes us with the Holy Ghost" (John 1:33; Acts 1:5) to be Christians (Acts 1:22) "POWER" (Acts 1:8) to become the sons of GOD" (John 1:12-13).
We are not given signs and wonders now, so your point here cannot be correct.

Once you learn how to rightly divide the word of truth, and not take Israel's truth to be necessary also the truth for the Body of Christ, then you will be able to reconcile this topic.

Water baptism vs Jesus' baptism (John 1:33; Acts 1:5) who gives POWER (Acts 1:8) is why there are no signs and wonders.

God rightly divides the Word for me so it won't be off like today's Christianity (I Corinthians 2:10).

You need to talk to God about that since He tells me what to say.
If "he" tells you something that contradicts God's written word "he" ain't God. Because God is not a liar to have a written record and then contradict himself making himself a liar. If you contradict God's word and claim God told you, you are a false prophet.

He's not your god who is only secular religion.

For example, whenever you hear the word baptism you think "immersion in water" which is not what Jesus said after the cross (Acts 1:5) or there would be TWO baptisms (Matthew 28:19) when Ephesians 4:5 says "one baptism" and Jesus said "Holy Spirit baptism" (Acts 1:5) and not water (Acts 2:38 /Matthew 28:19).

What kind of lying god is that?

Did you notice Romans 6:23 says THE GIFT is eternal life" and THE GIFT is defined as Holy Spirit baptism in Acts 11:17?

Did you notice Hebrews 9:22 says "Without blood there is no remission" but Acts 2:38 alleges water baptism remits sins?

Did you notice I John 1:7 says "...the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sins?"

Just asking since there's only "one baptism" (Ephesians 4:5) that Jesus does "with the Holy Ghost" (John 1:33) Who is "PERFECT" (Acts 18:26; Psalm 18:30) why do today's Christians believe in adding (Proverbs 30:6) a powerless do nothing water baptism onto what Jesus does PERFECTLY just because of writings in a book?

How do rectify the two baptisms alleged in Scripture after the cross when Ephesians 4:5 says "one baptism?"
Because of writings in a book? Did you not notice your hypocrisy? You quoted the very same books that add the "do nothing water baptism" as you put it.

Hebrews 6:1-2
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

There is a baptism of the Holy Ghost, and a baptism in water.

GOD reveals by His Spirit" (I Corinthians 2:10) LIES ENTWINED by evil man (Genesis 6:5)!

"Baptisms" for salvation are different in each dispensation!

Do you know "our example" (I Corinthians 10:11) for baptism in Scripture is when the children of Israel were "...baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea" (I Corinthians 10:1-2) in Exodus 14:16; 21 and NO ONE GOT WET?

"The Cloud" did the same thing the Holy Spirit does for us today "guide us into all truth" (Joh 16:13) as "The Cloud lead them the way" (Exodus 13:21).

According to what happened to "our examples" where is water involved?

God is not the liar, you are.
We'll find out won't we (II Corinthians 5:10)!

ANSWER THE QUESTION?

You need to ask yourself why Jesus made a long departure speech in John 14, 15, 16, praying in 17 about "THE PROMISE" (Acts 1:4) of "HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM" (Acts 1:5) knowing "He baptizes with the Holy Ghost" (John 1:33) "PERFECTLY" (Acts 18:26; Psalm 18:30) the "one baptism" then turn around in Matthew 28:19 and allegedly command MEN water baptize that He never mention in His departure speech and ADD another?

What kind of lying god is that?

YOU CAN'T ANSWER IT CAN YOU OR YOU WILL BE "FOUND TO BE A LIAR FOR ADDING TO HIS WORD" (PROVERBS 30:6)?
