The Bible isn't based on my assumptions or anyone else's assumptions. The Bible consists of God breathed scripture. You said that Eve had a choice of listening to the voice of God. What SCRIPTURE tells us that?

Anyone can assume anything at anytime. That is why cults and false doctrines proliferate.
You must be assuming Adam told her since scripture doesn't say anything about who told her what to answer the serpent... and I assume, therefore your are implying that God did not speak to Eve except to address her having eaten,? since that is the only scriptural account of Him speaking to her? and although there is no scriptural account of adam doing so? Personally, I hope to be more careful in assumptions that might mischaracterize God.

I try to steer clear of assumptions when I study the Bible. I do not assume that Adam told Eve since there is no scripture to support that. The Bible does not tell us HOW Eve got the instruction or WHAT instruction Eve got about not eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The Bible is silent about that.

I agree with you. I try to steer clear of assumptions that may mischaracterize the word of God. I try to follow the Berean example for Bible study. They fact checked. They searched the scriptures to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth. Acts 17:11

Likewise, in characterizing the nature of God in the OT, I use the pattern of Jesus, being the Word of God Himself, and He showed us the Father. And since Jesus had no scruples about speaking to the Samaritan woman, I believe I can safely assume God had no scruples about speaking to Eve, even congenially sometimes, on any particular matter. Neither do I doubt that Paul and Silas taught the truth, and do remain aware that the fallacy of the appeal to popularity is very often employed in the translation of the actual intent of their words.

I have not opposed the word of God I have disagreed with your understanding of the word of God which is NOT OPPOSING the word of God just because you are not agreed with it. That lie will not work here guy.

I addressed the fact you did not in the post speak of men loving their wife as Christ loved the church. Yet in you failed to attempt to attack me you still don't know how God desires to have order discipline and women to be fulfilled in a life with Christ and in marriage.

Are you a pastor? If not you too are held to the same standard Biblically.

You statement above is in defiance to the very clear words of God below

Gods Words Are Very Clear On A Womans Role In The Church, And They Aren't Changing Anytime Soon.

Silence, Subjection, Obedience

(It Is A Shame For Women To Speak In The Church)

1 Timothy 2:11-14KJV
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

1 Corinthians 14:33-35KJV
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

That is a self righteous statement. You are saying that only those who follow the AOG teachings are spirit lead and that is a false thesis.

EVERY born again Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit and whatever church they belong to is then lead by that same Holy Spirit my friend.

READING and understanding the written Word of God is NOT human logic. It is wisdom that is taught from God to us for those who want to know.
receiving the Holy Spirit when we are saved is not the same as being baptized in Him, nor are all churches or all christians filled daily with Him ... you only have to read Paul's letters to see that, never mind what we witness with our own eyes and hear with our own ears.

When Phillip preached to the Samaritans they turned to the Lord, they were baptized ... but the Holy Ghost had not fallen upon them.

Are you kidding me????

I mean NO disrespect to you my friend......but have you actually read the Bible at all? Your comments say that you haven't!!!!

Ephesians 5:11
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

2 Timothy 4:2-4
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

1 Corinthians 6:9
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,

John 7:7
The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.
Preach the forgiveness of sin show folks that God's way is better, get them to repent.

no, a woman can not be a bishop of the church yet a woman can speak at a pulpit and used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit under the covering of her husband and Pastor. You are so much about women shutting up in a church setting that you forget the Holy Spirit
has been poured out on WOMEN and they will prophesy as the word of God says which is speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the Pastor and elders will judge it according to the word of God which is all Biblical in context to 1cor chapter 12 -14
