I saw a report that a majority of Republicans were turning against Trump. I'm not sure I believe it, but I thought it might be interesting to see what people think here.
the true republicans are the everyday Republicans

and THEY like Trump

They know he isn't a saint but don't care bc ... well, I for one, say he in many ways ACTED like a saint or virtual saint.. meaning HIS POLICIES...

and isn't THAT what its supposed 2b about RE governing a huge country like the US?

policies.. '

The loony Left don't have a clue about that all-important thing called REALITY

cause and effect.... that kind of basic stuff

i am not for a third party, on account that it would split the vote. Trump as well is against a third party, for the same reasons. i'm not sure where you are getting your news, but I have read nothing of Trump losing his supporters.

p.s. I lived in p-town for a decade, a very difficult town to live in for conservatives.
p.p.s. RIP Rush.
p town... Portland, OR?

Oh my... if so,

my condolences.. :(

President Trump is a hero, a defender of their unborn and the right to life

Biden and Harris support murder of the innocent unborn

Rob a bank to help poor children?

eck
thank you for having proper priorities

What galls me is "christians" who do not automatically make murder their #1 priority when voting... Of course, voting may be obsolete...

sigh

The fight for law, order, truth and justice. Does it not concern us all?
If I were in another country, I too would be paying close attention, for if we utterly lose here........
Then what does that spell for the rest of the world?

I suggest, any and all whom may be concerned, to study Article V of the constitution, and convention of the states.

We need all freedom and liberty minded people to stand together.
Remember we are part of this, not just bystanders of history.
excellent point

I used to be annoyed by that slogan

Freedom is not free

Now I understand it SO much better. Each generation must fight to keep our freedoms.. It is a fight worth fighting for...

I voted neither. I voted for him in 2016 but never again.

Trump is a deplorable human being. Many will say that doesn't matter as long as he governs effectively. My response is, does the end justify the means? As Christians, at what point do we say the end doesn't justify the means? And if we use the logic that the end justifies the means, what if I wanted to rob a bank to help poor children? Would I be a Robin Hood, or a common thief?
i dont get this at all

Trump's past life did NOT keep him from enacting sound and reasonable and NEEDED policies... If I may say so, it seems only those who are ignorant of Trump's (america's) accomplishments say this kind of thing. He is NOT a deplorable human being and I find that UN-Christian... Even objectively deplorable human beings like Pelosi need prayer and NOT degrading adjectives...

(not that I am entirely guilt-free vis a vis Pelosi and Co... not at all... but sigh... learning the way of Jesus is not always easy)

Trump raised taxes on the middle class.

reduced government,
Trump increased government

strong military,
Trump weakened the military.

more freedom,
Trump reduced freedoms

conservative values.
This is meaningless. "Republican values are conservative values" is a stupid thing to say. It's circular.

And besides that, the first 4 things you listed, Trump has done the opposite.

So, 0/5. Next?

agree , my friend seems to think also that perhaps this may all lead to a civil war of some kind , especially if constitution is meddled with or ratified by the Dems
The Constitution has been "meddled with" a bzillion timesbythe Dems so called.. They are nationalist socialists (which is what NAZI stands for btw)

We are in big trouble... We need those who have power and claim to disagree with the loony Left... to ACTUALLY and via VOTE in Congress

disagree w/ the loony Left...

Why am I so disheartened vis a vis that?

:(

THANK YOU!!!!

This is what I have been trying to say as well.

I don't understand how or why Republicans like Trump. Trump supporters accuse Republicans of being RINOS, but it is the Republican party who is sticking to their party's platform. If you like what Trump stands for, then say you like Trump, and disagree with the Republican party. Fine. You're allowed to disagree with the GOP. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

But to say "I like Trump, and any Republican who doesn't like Trump isn't really a Republican," is like saying "I like coffee, and any tea-drinker who doesn't like coffee isn't really a tea-drinker." It just makes no sense, and shows the whole world how stupid Trump supporters really are.

My husband (who is a big-time gun nut) says the 2nd amendment is what gives the rest of the constitution teeth.
after Nov 3 I see we need something else in the gov system with "teeth"

I mean, are we to wait until they come for us...? The system set up by the founders was not perfect bc it seems there was no REAL way to enforce any of their high-sounding words...

I've noticed something about Trump haters who CLAIM to be conservative and/or Christian:

They throw expletives @ Trump but strangely (or maybe not so strangely)

NEVER

say just how it is he deserves those derogatory terms...

Sorry, but I have found in my experience that the less people know about Trump and what he DID, the more they dislike him

on the other hand, the more people know about his accomplishments (America's accomplishments during his term) the more they like him...

Knowledge... a very important thing for all of us to have... It takes some work... Reading some informative books is more work than... say... letting CNN do all your thinking for you... But if people want to be lazy and brainwashed... what can others do about that?

The Constitution has been "meddled with" a bzillion timesbythe Dems
"a bzillion times," is an extreme exaggeration. The Constitution has been amended 27 times, and there are currently roughly 30,000 statutes in the US law code.

In case your grasp of math is as bad as your grasp of civics, 30,000 is less than "a bazillion."

And it hasn't been just the Dems. The Republicans have done a fair share of it, though granted, MOST of the laws have been written by the left.

And either way, you're assuming that laws are a bad thing. Neither party believes that laws are a bad thing. One party claims to believe that laws are a good thing, but then refuses to pass any (the Republican Party), while the other party tries to claim that it wants to regulate everything, but once that power reaches the wrong hands, all of a sudden they're not happy with it.

Today a majority of the laws that are written and passed are done by the Democratic Party. Which makes me wonder why Republicans call themselves the party of "law and order" since they refuse to pass or write laws.

But that's not the issue here. The issue is, both parties have written plenty of laws and changed the constitution.

so called.. They are nationalist socialists (which is what NAZI stands for btw)
If you think the Democratic Party of the US resembles any kind of socialism, especially the NAZI party, you have no concept of history, and/or no concept of reality.

First of all, National Socialists are different than Democratic Socialists. Just like Christian Scientists are different than Evolutionary Scientists. Trying to claim that the two are the same just makes you look like an idiot.

Secondly, the Democratic Party in the US bears no resemblance to EITHER Democratic Socialists (who are significantly to the left of US Democrats) nor to National Socialists (who are significantly to the right of US Democrats, and even to the right of US Republicans). US Democrats are pro-capitalism. Socialists are anti-capitalist. This isn't my definition, this is simply using standard, dictionary definitions.

If you are pro-capitalism, you're not a socialist. The Democrats in the US are not socialist. You can disagree with everything they do (I disagree with much of what they do), but calling them the wrong name, again, makes you look like an idiot.

I disagree with a lot of what the Republican Party does, too. But I'm not going to call the party fascist, or KKK, or alt-right, or QAnon, or any other hateful, negative name, just because I disagree with them. I'm going to say that I disagree with their party platform. Period. Just like I do with the Democrats.

But then, I'm not stupid. I vote on issues, not on people. Maybe that's too nuanced for some.

My experience is very different from yours.

First of all, as much time as Trump spent tweeting and talking and ranting, and as much time as the media spent quoting him and devoting to him, the only people who don't know what he did must have lived under a rock. Some people like him for what he did. Some people disliked him for what he did.

That's why it's called "Trumpism," and not Republicanism or Socialism or Conservativism or any other kind of "ism." They liked or disliked what HE did and what HE said. Or they didn't. Either way.

But, quite different from your experience, I have found, among people who both like Trump and, as you say, "claim to be conservative and/or Christian," they are fine with what HE did, but they don't really have a clue what it means to be "conservative" and/or "Christian."

Because the two things are not congruent, as I have outlined already.

Translation: "I can't find any evidence to contradict you, so I will just call you names and call you a liar."

So very Christian. Sigh.

As you probably know, anything that exposes the Left is being quickly canceled.
Someone thinks this is funny, when it is extremely serious. America is quickly being turned into a Communist state as well as a third world country, and there is little or no proper response (push back) to this drastic destruction of the USA. All dissent is being shut down, and the DOJ and FBI have become Gestapo thugs. You can be as lawless as you want, as long as you are black, or coming across the border illegally. Police are being defunded and attacked and killed daily, and this is taken as a matter of course. And some police are even defending and protecting BLM and Antifa.

The Left Demands Loyality To Biden-This Is Why’ Trevor Loudon Explains The American Communist Revolution

'An expert on worldwide Communist infiltrations, Trevor Loudon, is speaking out loudly about what he sees unfolding in America calling it a full-blown ‘Revolution.’ He is educating Americans about how easy the left is getting away with it all.

“Americans are slow to wake up to ways we use to identify these marxist and Communist movements so I keep trying to find new ways to get the information out. I love America, and the world needs a strong America back or the rest of the world is doomed,” Loudon told Gateway Pundit.'
