The thing to understand about this is that it is emphasizing the reality of being dead spiritually and then alive spiritually. Jesus talked about being born again and it confused people because they thought they he meant natural birth again (born again). But the Bible says that the true believers were dead spiritually but then were quickened to believe on Jesus, to trust in God, so that they became alive spiritually.

"And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; "

True believers were once dead in their sins, without God, and without hope in the world.

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: "

Are any of you born again? To me this is the same as your question asking 'are any of you begotten of the dead?'

Jesus was the first born from the dead. He was the first to be resurrected, which it should be remembered was spiritual birth for him. He took our sins upon himself and became death spiritually. So much so that he asked God why he had forsaken him. Then, God raised him up from spiritual death with his life spirit that was not dead and he was able to give that spirit to persons who were now also able to be born from spiritual death to spiritual life.
What makes you believe your understanding of it is correct?

The same glory He has from the beginning and the same eternal life that He is from the beginning ;)
And I now have it for He gave it to me and I am one with them.

How can Jesus be the resurrection and be resurrected?
because the " Resurrection" is speaking to the eternal power of God who gives eternal life through His Son. Jesus is the proof that what We place our faith in is truth.

BEcause I live, you Shall Live also.

And I now have it for He gave it to me and I am one with them.

He shall not speak of Himself;
but whatsoever He shall hear, shall He speak

Please explain how you understand it?
Maybe you do know it?
Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

(MY NOTE: Christ is the 1st begotten of the dead.)

The way I read the verse, it's speaking to Jesus resurrection. He's was the 1st born from the dead.

Jesus is PREEMINENT (Col 1:18) in ALL things within our realm:

Creation: Jn 1:3 & 10, Col 1:16, 1 Cor 8:6

Redemption: Gal 3:13, Rev 5:9, Col 1:14, Rom3:24

Resurrection: Jn 11:25, Acts 4:33, 1Pet 1:3 & 3:21

Mediation: 1 Tim 2:5, Heb 8:6, 9:15, - 12:24

Judgment: Jn 5:22, Rom 2:16, 2 Tim 4:1.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The hearing ear, and the seeing eye,
the LORD hath made even both of them
(Proverbs 20:12)
how do the lame, poor, blind beggars on the street get expensive, specialized, tailor-made wedding garments?
what were Adam and Eve wearing when they left Eden? Who's their tailor? did they pay for those duds?

you asked how to get into the Kingdom of God? confess the answer to those questions.

What makes you believe your understanding of it is correct?
Thanks for your question. Remember in Luke 26: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. " This scripture seems to show the moment when Jesus' perfect life spirit left him and Jesus became dead. Remember how he who knew no sin became sin for our sakes. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. "We see in the Old Testament that Jesus is as a serpent placed on a pole (Numbers 21). He became sin. It is not that different from other humans in the sense that at some point they became sinful and in need of true life. The only difference is that perfect Jesus gave himself up willingly for us, knowingly. Then, afterwards, after tasting death, God resurrected Jesus and gave him the spirit of life again. He was born from above, the first to be born with God's life spirit from death. In a sense, God the father gave Jesus his life spirit back. Since he then had victory over death, he gave this spirit to others as well, who would be born of God's spirit also.

How can Jesus be the resurrection and be resurrected?
How can Jesus be the humble servant and a man of war? How can Jesus be the PRINCE of Peace and everlasting Father? How can Jesus be meek and lowly and the King of Kings and Lord of lords?

Jesus has so many titles in the Bible, it'd be a WHOLE STUDY to go thru em. So many titles.

Jesus can be all kinds of things, PRAISE GOD. Even the jews during the second temple era were tripping out over the different titles, at one point Jews even theorized of TWO messiahs, as they couldnt figure out the first and second coming. (not saying we could of either back in the day, HINDSIGHT as they say is 20/20)

The question is...How can Jesus be the resurrection and be resurrected?

Not how He can be anything else.

Is there a difference in the meaning of the Greek word and the English word
"firstborn, first begotten"?

None of this is why Jesus is the resurrection.
Some of it is not correct.
