Hi everyone,
I have a teacher
Lovely lady
Today I was in a classroom with her, her husband, and a fellow student
A conversation that took place was (and this doesn’t include everything that happened in it, but I think it contains a general gist)
The student asked the teacher if the [insert assignments] are still available to turn in
The teacher says that [insert assignments] were for [insert exam]
(Basically meaning they were intended to help review for [insert exam]
Student says he knows
Teacher says it’s fine to
In the past, my teacher has stated online that [insert assignments] will not be accepted late
So, I’d like to ask you guys three questions.
1) I’m 99.999999% sure the answer is to leave him alone and focus on me instead, but I’d like to get it checked with you guys, my fellow Christians, but I definitely shouldn’t bother the other student about this and ask him to not turn in any [insert assignments] that he would like to turn in right? Please respond with a simple yes or no, unless it’d be wrong for you to do so or something I suppose.
2) I’m 95% sure right option for me is don’t say anything to her, but just in case... is there anything I should say to the teacher?
3) So I tried turning in one of the [insert assignments] and I was about a minute too late and couldn’t submit anything through our online thingy. I have a 0 for the assignment grade currently. Turning something in for it could potentially save me in the future and help me end the school year with an A in the class, and even though I personally highly value academics but I can live with not having all As, my parents will most definitely not like me at the end of the school year having a B, and I think my mom will have (from her perspective) a justified reason to associate me being a Christian with me having poor academic performance.
Although to be honest, I might manage to end off with an A in the class without turning something in for that assignment (but I think having a 100 there where that 0 is would be a nice safety net).
Anyway, would it be okay for me to turn in something for that assignment?
And I really don’t want to come off as a meanie head or hard accuser talking about my lovely teacher, so sorry if I come off that way, but basically, my concern is if it’s okay for me to get a grade through a “system” in which someone went back on their word.
