Just wondered why insurance companies call things like fires and earthquakes and other disasters acts of God, when they could be just acts of Satan.

Or maybe just accidents, Or are there no such things as accidents are people just deliberately being stupid?

There are no accidents. Everything has a cause. The concept of "Acts of God" comes from the idea that God exercises judgement through natural phenomena such as drought, storms, earthquakes and floods.

Satan certainly is behind some of these events. You will recall that Lord Jesus commanded the storm to cease and it obeyed. I've done the same thing when driving through a blinding downpour. I asked God to stop the storm. He said, "I did not send it and I will not take it away". I then knew what to do and I rebuked the rain. In seconds, I could see clearly.

Some events are surely God's judgement. God is not mocked. A radio station was debating the existence of God on air. It was hit directly by a bolt of lightning.

hmm
how do you know which ones are which though.
You cant attribute every single disaster to God or everything to satan.

But surely the insurance companies could say some of the horrible ones are acts of satan instead of blaming God for them!
