yeah good life ☺
I think the life was physically tough, and very limited in terms of options and luxuries. But I think it showed how tough situations could Bond a couple despite lack of wealth.
And I think the complete opposite happens today. We now have a very mentally difficult life, and too many options. Richer couples are no longer bonding.

I don't see their life as tough...it was perfect and beautiful ...

The most beautiful things for me are not associated with luxury or money...actually it is something That money cant buy...it is the simpleness of life...fresh air i breath, nice neighbors, sweet smile, the shade of trees, the sound of rain in a forest, the sound of rain falling on the roof and many more sweet simple things 😍

Anyways i understand what you mean...couples need to work hard to pay bills and a day off is a luxury... Sometimes they got no time for each other anymore... But i thought if the couple were rich they got all the time they want lol because they dont need to think about how they can pay their bills 😄

In my case, my simple efforts to earn and and my focus on on Love and principles rather than luxuries were worth nothing. Even though I married someone whose family was heavily involved in church. I was naive.

I was brainstorming ideas and thought of a fun thread idea. Do yall have a favorite scene in a movie? Or a show or video game? Or even a book that you can describe? Whether funny, action oriented or uplifting. For example, David vs Goliath, Samson and the Temple. They dont have to biblical, I can think of many great action movies and shows with cool scenes.
Last of the Mohicans.

It's like a metaphor for our time. Basically, Magua (a.k.a. Obama and his henchmen) murder Uncas (the Constitution) and Cora (freedom) dies as she cannot live without him. Then Chingachgook (we Patriots) are so enraged by the murder of Uncas (the Constitution), that we charge in a fury to bring Magua (Obama, Hillary, Bill Gates et. al.) to justice, but there are so many puppets in the way. That's where Hawkeye (Donald Trump) comes in and starts removing the obstacles to justice, until Magua (or Obama, if you will) gets his come-uppance. :)

Oh baby, I love this idea. I have a few to share.

This one almost brings tears to my eyes:

This made me yell out in the theater:

I felt 8 years old again:

Great choreography:

Horrible movie, but great single scene:

And... just, wow, what a speech. Great father / son dynamic:

All my favorite scenes are from 1970's British Comedies and the Eddie Murphy film Coming to America.

Drama wise, this scene always kills me.

Never saw this. I need to.

I LOVE this whole movie.

No computer driven algorithms or statistics.
No enhanced genetic purity.
Just the human heart and spirit.

Such a brilliant line, “ They’ve got you looking so hard for flaws, that after a while, that’s all you see”.

I'm going with the ending of Portal 1 and 2. These are 2 of the best games ever made in my opinion. Awesome story, excellent problem solving fun, sarcastic humor, and fighting A.I.. What else do you want in entertainment?!?! lol

Spoiler alert if you never played these games and want to in the future, this is the ending credits of both games.
