why is it those who want to use the term "Modern" in reference to Israel or other Biblical things, seem to think it changes God's perspective because we are in a " modern time"?

I agree that scripture teaches of a future temple, and a human man to be revealed as (The Man of Sin/The Antichrist) Isaiah 66:1-4, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-11
As seen below, the fulfilling of the Gentiles would be a start of the 3.5 year tribulation, and scripture strongly suggests it will be attacking Arab nations?
Israel/Jerusalem will see the future fulfilling of the Gentiles for 42 months Rev 11:2, and the future slaughter of 2/3 will be cut off and die Zechariah 13:8, Luke 21:21-22

I don't side with the Christian "because that's a Christian thing to do". I support Christians because I am one! And I recognize if any entity/organization wants to survive, it must practice in-group preference. I believe in taking care of my family before outsiders. I believe in looking out for my neighbors over out-of-towners. Friends over strangers. And Christians over jews. And if that's "racism", then I'll proudly wear that label.
Does this mean I'd support an American if I see him raping an Australian kid? No. It means I'm gonna default to supporting the people in my own group unless there is some compelling case not to. And the more that I see my group as being under attack, then the more compelling the case would have to be for me to not support them.
