From The Wanderer (a Traditional :) Catholic magazine)

This may have been written by a priest (?) maybe Fr Altman (not sure) whose words are in quotes. (My comments are in brackets).

“No one is entitled to an ‘opinion’ that endangers eternal souls. No one.

… Jesus warned ‘Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul’; rather be afraid of the one who can destroy both.. in Gehenna. In other words, be very much afraid of someone’s opinions that differ from Jesus who is the Way the Truth and the Life.

The author talks of synodalism by which the unity of truth is handed off to bishops in various geographical areas, creating relativism based on personal opinion. He gives the Winnipeg Statement as an example: 90 of 96 Canadian bishops published this, saying a Catholic, based on his/her opinion could choose to act outside of the unchanged/unchangeable directive against artificial birth control. This Statement said that if people have sincerely tried but failed to adhere to this directive from the Church “they may be safely assured that" the person “does so in good conscience.” The Wanderer author says rightly that this Statement bears false witness, that the authors of it are false shepherds. He says that the very word Artificial (as opposed to created-by-God) tells us what we need to know.

“It is not from God” but from sinful man. Nobody… has the right to personal interpretation of a thing as [being] sin or not sin. The definition of sin is given to us by God… alone."

Another example: John Kerry when he was running for president 2004. The question came up whether priests could give Communion to a “notorious proponent of the slaughter of innocents in the womb [Kerry]…" As then-head of The Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith Cardinal Ratzinger (future pope Benedict XVI) wrote… ‘[N]o one shall give Holy Communion to politicians holding views like Kerry’s.'”

Fake-priest McCarrick misrepresented the truth of the letter from Ratzinger saying that the decision is up to each individual bishop [there are 195 dioceses in the US]. The author calls them false witnesses/liars. “What is true in any of the 195 dioceses is true in all…” [Gee, do ha think?]

The author mentions the situation in South Carolina where a priest denied Biden Communion and his bishop stood behind him, while [fake Catholic] Wilton Gregory in DC chose to give Biden Communion.

“Both sides cannot be right,”
the author reminds us. “No bishop… may change the unchanged/unchangeable Truth…”

Devout Christians should read The Wanderer

Every now and then there is a sentence therein that makesme think HUH??? WHAT?

Butmaybe that is bc they are pressed for time, have 2 get thestory written w/o much timefor editing... you know... get it published b4 it is no longer news...?

yet reading OLD issues is very informative... very. I always learn something...

Another note:

Fake priest McCarrick not surprisingly was accused and "convicted" (not sure if in a court of US law?) of child molestation...

Does anyone really care what the Pope thinks? I don't. I care more about what was running through Catfish Hunter's mind while he was pitching that perfect game for the Oakland As in 1968.

think what u want

but that is one thing I don't complain about and again, Catholics know more what there is to validly complain about than nonCatholics (way)

The Church I go to ... no one ever even does the collection plate these days...

doesn't look like a $ focused Church at all..

My church stopped collections also! Isn't that something? All the members still pay tithes though, and there is a box in the back.

I think they're being very reasonable doing that! Good job, Church!

a lot of the huge cathedrals were donated by wealthy rulers

which is not to say I don't have criticisms of how clergy live..

but frankly I wouldn't mind them having things others don't necessarily have... if they would just DO THEIR JOB

but they kind of go along with the Beast ... term loosely used for "the powers that be"

u know, those control freaks who stole the election and now want to cram Satan down our throats

well, again... we can find dirt on any church and on any and all of said members

Instead, we need to band together and fight the anti-Christs

As the Word says

Even now there are many anti-Christs

Most Catholics are FAR from anti-Christ

Don't let "them" divide and conquer. That is what they are doing... The elite scum in the WH who stole the election are counting on us all in-fighting... so we do not fight them

I agree we should stick together as Americans for freedom and a conservative country, I stand with Catholics against abortion, and many other political causes, but religion is another subject

Yes they commie liberals want to silence and divide conservative Americans from all religious backgrounds, and don't forget the Pope pushed leftist facism in Argentina a fact

Regardless of the church you attend, before partaking of communion, everyone must read 1 Co 11:29

"For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself. "

I do not like Pope F. He is a heretic.

I think some really funny stuff happened at the Vatican starting in... well, it's always been going on bc people have always been people... but things got remarkably bad last few decades. For one, they are making certain popes saints whom i do not believe deserve it. JP II was good in a lot of ways b ut he did very odd "liberal" things like when he kissed the Koran... and that mtg in Assisi...

and John XXIII... a saint? ha ha... He is the one who started the Vatican II Council... liberalized the Church...

But Jesus promised that in spite of knuckleheads (my word, of course) the gates of Hell would not prevail against His Church..mt 1618

I disagree that Roman Catholicism is the one true church on earth

The Church is comprised of many around the world in different denominations, the pope isnt the vicar of Christ on earth

The Catholic Church officially teaches that Christians outside the RCC are part of the RCC whether they fully realize it or not, although not perfectly (to say the least). The RCC gave the world Christianity (I've studied early Church history...). But if a person disagrees with a dogma taught by Christ's Original Church, which is a teaching set in stone, as it were, that person is wrong and depending on the issue at hand.. maybe wrong enough to end up in Hell.
