Which commandments? The 630+ in the Mosaic law or the command to trust in Jesus.
Even a regenerate Christian can’t fulfill the righteousness needed for eternal life by loving.

as john Said, a child of god can not live in sin because he has been born of God. By practice true believers obey, because they have been born of God
I do this also, not to maintain salvation but because I am saved and want healed. Healing can only come through confession

When a person first comes to believe Jesus is God and he decides to be a Christian he seeks baptism. In baptism the person is regenerated (born again and sinless). Once regenerated, God justifies and sanctifies the believer. If you die in that moment you are going to heaven.
If time goes on and you commit any of the serious sins from the verses we’ve been talking about, you have lost eternal life just like the verses say. You are no longer justified because you are not righteous. The believer seeks reconciliation with God and God forgives him. The believer is regenerated, justified, and sanctified. If the believer dies then, he’s going to heaven. If he refuses to confess his sins and dies, he goes to hell.

I believe that a person is to place faith in Jesus Christ after hearing or being convicted of their sinfulness and of Christ's righteousness. Through faith in Jesus, God justifies the sinner (declares him righteous) based on the perfect obedience of Jesus Christ.
Once justified and born again, their position is secure as they now have an omnipotent owner. God is now their Father and Hebrews 12 kicks in. Also...
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

The scripture above is speaking of the Bema Seat of Christ. First of all, at this judgment we will not be judged according to our sins, for they have all been forgiven. This will be an awards ceremony for our works whether good or worthless. Those works that go through the fire and survive, we will receive reward for. Likewise, those works that we did with wrong motives that get burned up going through the fire, we will suffer loss of reward for.
"If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss."
But as far as salvation is concerned, it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Even though I disagree with what you’re believing about scripture, I would never say your not scriptural. We just don’t interpret them the same, but were both making arguments from scripture.

Yeah, I’m Catholic. So naturally I would agree with the Catholic Church. The Eastern Orthodox are on the same page regarding salvation as well. So it’s not some mass hysteria issue, it’s just a difference of interpretation.
With the current Pope, I doubt the Eastern Orthodox Church can keep up unless they are apostasizing too.

Nope. Justification is based on FAITH. Romans 5:1 - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Rom 3-
24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—
26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
After reading these verses, I hope you do realize that your views are contrary to God's Word.
Actually the MOMENT one has saving faith in Christ, they POSSESS eternal life (John 5:24). And Jesus said those He gives eternal life (which at the MOMENT of faith in Him) they (recipients of eternal life) SHALL NEVER PERISH.
Please share ANY verse that says eternal life can be lost, as you claim here.
You need to study deeply Romans 3, and the verses I've shared above. Justification is NOT based on our righteousness. It is based on Christ's righteousness and our FAITH in Him.
12 John 1:9 says to confess your sins for forgiveness.
So, in your world, a believer can be UN-renerated, and RE-justified time and time again. How do you support these views?

Do you realize that with a "difference in interpretation", only 1 side can be right? Esp when the 2 views are different and CONFLICTING.
The Orthodox have authoritative heads of their churches as well. Go ask a Russian Orthodox Christian if the buck doesn’t stop with the Patriarch of Russia. I think you know they share far more in common with Catholics than they do post reformation Christians. We’re all Christians despite our differences.
