1Corinthians 14:1-20 -- "Brothers and Sisters, stop thinking like children"

This may be one of the most important and most misunderstood chapters in the entire Bible. Without a doubt those that attack Paul for being sexist support that claim almost exclusively on this chapter.

1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.

This chapter tells believers how to meet, there is no other chapter in the Bible that gives such a clear picture of what a church meeting is supposed to be. First, follow the way of love. Jesus told us that if we love one another all will know that we are His disciples. That is the overriding principle. When faced with tough decisions for the congregation you should first make sure that you are following the way of love. In the previous chapter Paul has given us the way of love.

13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

This is the overriding principle for everything the church does. However, in this chapter we are told to also desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. The word prophecy means to “speak for”, “speak forth” and “speak before”. It is not simply predicting, or speaking before something happens. A press secretary is considered a “prophet” in the Bible. They are speaking for someone, they are speaking forth something that is being pronounced, and in some cases they are speaking “before” something happens. The church, as the embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven, should be the Lord’s prophets.

2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. 4 Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.

It seems obvious reading this that tongues were an issue with the church meetings. First, tongues were not fulfilling the mission of the church as an embassy. You are here, in this city, representing God to the people. This meeting is for the Lord to speak to the people through His prophets. If the people don’t understand what you are saying, what is the point. The church is not some ridiculous secret society where people who visit have no idea what is going on. Therefore speaking a clear and intelligible word is greater than speaking in tongues unless someone also interprets. If you interpret the tongue so that people understand, then it is really no different than prophesying. But the way Paul says this it sounds like one person is speaking in tongues and another person is interpreting. Instead what I have seen is that people will speak in tongues, and then interpret what they just said. Why? Why not just tell us directly what God has said? What was the point of speaking something that no one understands first? You aren’t edifying the church that way, you are edifying yourself. Contrast that with the Dana Coverstone dreams. He doesn't interpret but when he is finished with the dream he has others step forward to interpret. This does look like the Biblically sound approach.

6 Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?

Paul has had a tremendous impact on the church and the believers over the last 2,000 years. He also told us that he spoke in tongues more than us all. But that had nothing to do with the good he has been to us. It is the revelation, knowledge, prophecy and word of instruction that has built the church. So then Paul is an example of what he is saying, he is not asking us to do anything that he himself did not do. Take Paul as your example.

7 Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the pipe or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes? 8 Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? 9 So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.

Clear, intelligible words, that is the focus. If you play a clear tune we can all sing along. If you are sounding a clear alarm we can all react appropriately. If we have no idea what you are saying we will tune you out.

10 Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning. 11 If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and the speaker is a foreigner to me.

The key principle is love and that means your meeting must be welcoming, inclusive. Making someone feel like a foreigner is not love.

12 So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.

By all means be eager for the gifts. All believers are. But try to excel at building up the church. It is hard, you have to work at it, but that is what Paul is encouraging you to do. Don’t give up.

13 For this reason the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that they may interpret what they say.

Now he is saying, hey if you do speak in tongues pray to the Lord that He will also give you the gift of interpretation. If you have both gifts then in the meeting simply give us the interpretation. Recently I have been seeing people share their “dreams” online but they then give us the interpretation as well. Still, you could have taken a 15 minute video talking about a dream and the interpretation and distilled it down to a 2 minute prophecy.

14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. 15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.16 Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying? 17 You are giving thanks well enough, but no one else is edified.

This verse is huge and always ignored. I am not aware of anyone picking this up before. The person who is hearing your speaking in a church meeting “is put into the position of an inquirer”. The church meeting is not your private worship time or prayer time. Some people are speaking and some are listening. Those that are hearing are “put into the position of an inquirer”. You cannot understand this chapter unless you understand that.

18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. 19 But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.

5 intelligible words in a meeting are worth much more than 10,000 words of gibberish. What he has done is focus on “return on investment”. How can a church meeting be most effective? Clear, intelligible words, words of instruction, prophecy, encouragement, revelation, knowledge. These words will build up the church much, much more effectively than gibberish.

20 Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

An adult has learned they don’t want to waste their time. They don’t want to spin their wheels getting nowhere. When I listen to various youtube posts I am in the position of an inquirer. My first question is "will this person shed light from the word of God?" I listen for a minute and there is nothing from the Bible, I may skip a minute forward, still nothing, skip two minutes forward, still nothing. I don't waste my time, I find some people are full of light and insight on the word, those are the ones I am seeking out.

1Corinthians 14:21-34 Who are you going to be faithful to?

21 In the Law it is written: “With other tongues and through the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.”

The prophecy about tongues in the Old Testament was that it would be a sign of unbelief. This is not meant to be insulting. It can be very difficult to speak for the Lord, we all start somewhere, and these dreams have helped some very young Christians to speak. It is like having a basketball court where the baskets are only six feet off the ground for small kids to play.

22 Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers.

As a new believer our faith is weak, perhaps the simplest way to begin speaking in a church meeting is in tongues, just like a baby starts by speaking gibberish. But you continue to grow and you pray that you could interpret. Soon not only can you speak in tongues but you can also interpret. Now, cut out the tongues and just give us the interpretation. Now you are prophesying. But understand this, prophesying is for "the big boys". You can definitely get "hurt".

23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind? 24 But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all,25 as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”

This was my experience. I discounted what the preachers were saying, I figured they were well able to hoodwink me. But when other saints began to share, that is when I saw that God was really among them. There was one brother named Raul. He was learning to read and was in his thirties. I figured this brother was way too simple to hoodwink me. It is very powerful when we all speak, even if it is only five words.

26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation.

Every single one of us should have something. It can be a hymn we were enjoying. I remember I once went on a field trip for Geology and so missed the church meetings. While on the bus I discovered a new hymn, figured out how to sing it, and sang it to myself on the bus. The next week I shared this hymn with the church. They were stunned because they also had discovered the same hymn during the meeting I had missed.

Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

The guiding principle is love, but if you love someone you will build them up. So the corollary of the Lord’s word that we are to love another and then everyone will know that we are His disciples, is that everything we do must be done to build up others.

27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

Can’t get any clearer than that. You don’t speak in tongues in a meeting unless you know it will be interpreted. This can also refer to someone visiting from another country and speaking to the church. If someone came to NY speaking in Chinese we would want an interpreter. No one is going to have a church meeting where a 90 minute message is given in Chinese if no one understands Chinese.

29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.

Once again, you have speakers and you have listeners. If you are listening you are put in the position of an enquirer and you are to weigh carefully what is said. The reason people twist what Paul says in this chapter about women speaking is they are ignoring the context.

30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.

It is very clear in this chapter that men and women are in the meeting. When Paul says “you can all prophecy” there is no distinction made. This is an example of "weighing carefully". Those with an axe to grind will jump on a single word, pull it out of the context and then distort what was said.

32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.

Second major issue, God is not a God of disorder. I used to meet in a church that as a rule allowed thirty minutes or more in every meeting for anyone to stand and speak. But they exercised strict control to make sure everything was done in good order. It is very tough to stand in front of two hundred and speak because they are weighing carefully what you are speaking, there is a judgment going on. I have seen people rebuked. I have also seen people try to rebuke someone and have that rebuke backfire and rebound onto them. I have seen elders and church leadership rebuked. I have seen this happen in meetings with thousands of saints. These meetings can become very intense, full of light, where people are convicted of sins, the secrets of their hearts are laid bare and they worship God that He is truly in the midst.

34 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

This is the verse, used more than any other, to accuse Paul of being sexist. If this were the only thing that Paul had ever said on the subject they would have a good case. But already in this chapter Paul has said that they all can prophesy. He has also made it clear that those who are listening are put in the position of questioning what they are hearing, weighing it for themselves. Here he connects this woman speaking with her having a question that she wants to ask. In chapter 11 of this same letter he says that a woman should have her head covered when she prays or prophecies. Therefore it is absurd to say that Paul is forbidding her to pray or prophesy in the meeting. Instead he is forbidding her from standing up to question someone who just spoke in the meeting. I have seen this practiced, it is very difficult to keep things in good order. Therefore only the elders question, rebuke or challenge anything that is said. Generally they tell the person to sit down, occasionally they will give a correcting word. If you let everyone do this the meetings would be like social media, total chaos. What happens if an elder tells someone to sit down who was speaking the word of God? I had an experience once where Witness Lee told me to sit down in a training with thousands of saints. I was speaking on the verse in Peter about multiplied grace. No one questioned him, but over the next few meetings one by one people stood up to share how that testimony had helped them, how it matched their experience of what multiplied grace was. Even the elders began to talk to him privately about this. Over time Witness Lee publicly shared that he had made a mistake. You do it in good order, you don’t allow chaos to reign, and you trust in the Spirit. But you know that the atheists will not accept this. He said “I do not permit a woman to speak”. This is true, he also shared that in the Body of Christ there is no male or female. He shared that in Galatians, the first letter he wrote. He also shared that when you speak you need to have your head covered. So here where he says he doesn’t permit a woman to speak. He says she should ask her husband. That is her head covering. This is the secret. How do you rebuke an elder of sin? You must have your head covered. Paul says when you speak you must speak as oracles of God. How? Well every word in the Bible is an oracle of God. Speak the words of the Bible. When you speak in the church you must have your head covered. I don’t mean you must wear a doily, I mean that Jesus must be Lord of the words you are speaking. There have been a number of times I knew that if I speak this word it will cause me very great trouble. I also knew that the Lord was speaking clearly that I must speak it. It all comes down to “who are you going to be faithful to”? In the end I pray Lord have mercy on me, you know I am always going to choose to be faithful to You. That is what it means to have your head covered. Now when I speak it is not the “woman” who is afraid, but I am speaking the words of the Lord, as oracles of God.

1Corinthians 14:36-40 Why is it that everyone thinks they need to be original?

36 Or did the word of God originate with you?

Why is it that everyone thinks they need to be original? The Bible is a deep well of water that never runs dry.

Or are you the only people it has reached?

When you speak the word you have to keep this in mind. Those people who are weighing your words, questioning what you are saying, the Lord has reached them. They know the Lord. If you speak from your spirit it will touch their spirit. “Deep calleth unto deep”. When you are speaking you are throwing the football, have faith that they will catch it.

37 If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

I am thoroughly amazed by Paul. How precise his speaking was. How he was fearless in his speaking. How much faith he had that we would catch his words thousands of years later.

38 But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored.

We all have pet peeves. My pet peeve is people who stand in doorways. You can’t get in the room, you can’t get out because they are just standing there. In Malachi 2 the Lord shares his pet peeve. He tells people what to do, they ignore it, and then they fill up his altar with tears and long prayers because He is ignoring them. If you don't want the Lord to ignore you, then don't ignore Him.

39 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.

Social media is not an example of things being done fitting and in an orderly way. Do not pattern a church meeting after social media.

Chapter 14 doesn't directly relate to the rapture, but it does relate to building up the church which is essential for the Bride making herself ready and for the end of this age when the church will be the army of God. Our speaking for God is also essential for our judgement, remember the Lord said that those who deny me in this age He will deny and those that testified of Him before men He also will testify of.

Also remember the parable where He said when He returns the guy who had buried his talent should have invested it with the bankers. The church and all the saints are the bankers. Speaking in the meetings is how we invest it with the bankers.

Joshua 8:1-29 Joshua will utterly destroy AI

1 And Jehovah said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai; see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land; 2 and thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: set thee an ambush for the city behind it.

Let’s remember again what we did to Jericho. This was the walled city, they were all inside shut tight and outside of the city they knew that the army of Israel was preparing a siege and yet everyone on the wall kept telling people they aren’t doing anything, they are simply walking around and doing nothing. This is like the censorship we saw from Twitter, Facebook and Google. If you said election fraud you were censored, if you said the pandemic came out of the Wuhan bioweapons lab you were a wing nut. That has blown up in their face, the censorship has been a complete failure with them falling flat on their face. MSNBC has ratings so low it is hard to believe. Perhaps 50,000 people will tune into MSNBC on the weekend, compare that with 50,000,000 who tune into Steve Bannon the “wing nut” who was telling us sixteen months ago that the pandemic was a biological attack from China. Twitter’s stock has fallen, Facebook has egg all over their face for calling stories fake that they now admit are true. They all have blood on their hands for holding up Fauci as a saint only to now learn he funded the research that created this pandemic. Now we go onto AI, the battle has moved to these election audits. Already Arizona has found enough evidence to decertify their election results and to criminally prosecute their Governor. Georgia has also found evidence of fraud and is moving to have a full forensic audit, as is Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

3 So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up to Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand men, the mighty men of valor, and sent them forth by night. 4 And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in ambush against the city, behind the city; go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready: 5 and I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city. And it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them; 6 and they will come out after us, till we have drawn them away from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: so we will flee before them; 7 and ye shall rise up from the ambush, and take possession of the city: for Jehovah your God will deliver it into your hand. 8 And it shall be, when ye have seized upon the city, that ye shall set the city on fire; according to the word of Jehovah shall ye do: see, I have commanded you. 9 And Joshua sent them forth; and they went to the ambushment, and abode between Beth-el and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.

January 6 was a victory for the proponents of “the big lie” shutting down the attempt to get the election sent back to the state legislators for investigation. You then saw the Democrats get overconfident talking about setting up blacklists and reeducation camps for all of the Republicans only for them to discover that Maricopa county was going up in flames as Rachel Maddow said “they have the ballots!” The forensic audit of the ballots is proving there was fraud.

10 And Joshua arose up early in the morning, and mustered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai. 11 And all the people, even the men of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and encamped on the north side of Ai: now there was a valley between him and Ai. 12 And he took about five thousand men, and set them in ambush between Beth-el and Ai, on the west side of [a]the city. 13 So they set the people, even all the host that was on the north of the city, and their liers-in-wait that were on the west of the city; and Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley. 14 And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at the time appointed, before the Arabah; but he knew not that there was an ambush against him behind the city. 15 And Joshua and all Israel made as if they were beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness. 16 And all the people that were in the city were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city. 17 And there was not a man left in Ai or Beth-el, that went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued after Israel.

18 And Jehovah said unto Joshua, Stretch out the javelin that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thy hand. And Joshua stretched out the javelin that was in his hand toward the city. 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand, and entered into the city, and took it; and they hasted and set the city on fire. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. 21 And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city, and that the smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of Ai. 22 And the others came forth out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape. 23 And the king of Ai they took alive, and brought him to Joshua.

This is where we are today, they have no power to flee this way or that. Every word they ever said is coming back to haunt them. Everyone in this country can see that Fauci has been lying to them, that Cuomo and Whitmer followed his instructions causing the deaths of thousands and trying to cover this up. Evidence of voter fraud in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania has already leaked out, more than enough to flip the election results from Biden to Trump, but even more there will be senate and congressional elections that will also be flipped. But it is worse than that, they have all the receipts. They will be able to prosecute hundreds of deep state actors in this fraud, they will be able to seize the assets of the tech giants who collaborated with them. We will be able to spoil AI taking all these people of power and replacing them as well as plundering their spoil.

24 And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they pursued them, and they were all fallen by the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all Israel returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword. 25 And all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai. 26 For Joshua drew not back his hand, wherewith he stretched out the javelin, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai. 27 Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for prey unto themselves, according unto the word of Jehovah which he commanded Joshua. 28 So Joshua burnt Ai, and made it a heap for ever, even a desolation, unto this day. 29 And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until the eventide: and at the going down of the sun Joshua commanded, and they took his body down from the tree, and cast it at the entrance of the gate of the city, and raised thereon a great heap of stones, unto this day.

We need to utterly destroy this city. The deep state refers to FBI, CIA, NSA and other bureaucrats who try and control the levers of power behind the scenes. They want people who are corrupt, they want pedophiles because they can blackmail them and control them. They go beserk over anyone they can’t blackmail with slander and libel and lawsuits and impeachments. They are hateful and wicked and we will utterly destroy them.

Joshua 8:30-35 Let's build an altar to the Lord

30 Then Joshua built an altar unto Jehovah, the God of Israel, in mount Ebal, 31 as Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of unhewn stones, upon which no man had lifted up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt-offerings unto Jehovah, and sacrificed peace-offerings. 32 And he wrote there upon the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he wrote, in the presence of the children of Israel. 33 And all Israel, and their elders and officers, and their judges, stood on this side of the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, as well the sojourner as the home-born; half of them in front of mount Gerizim, and half of them in front of mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of Jehovah had commanded at the first, that they should bless the people of Israel. 34 And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessing and the curse, according to all that is written in the book of the law. 35 There was not a word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the assembly of Israel, and the women, and the little ones, and the sojourners that were among them.

Yes, it is time to raise an altar to the Lord and remember, once again, the Law of Moses.

You want to bring back animal sacrifices?
Abraham was a life of the altar and the tent. That is the life of faith on this earth. The animal sacrifices in the Old Testament were a type and shadow of Jesus Christ. The Lord is our Peace offering, He was the burnt offering, He is the meal offering, the sin offering the trespass offering. Paul said that we are crucified with Christ, our life should be put on the altar as a living sacrifice to God. So, yes, I think we need to raise the altar again and as I am an animal I am all for being a living sacrifice.

The Big Lie

The German expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, to describe the use of a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."

At this point we have had close to 170 million documented cases of Covid with 3.5 million deaths. We now have compelling, even overwhelming evidence that this virus was man made in the Wuhan Bioweapons lab. However, what very few will say is that this was intentionally released, rather they cling to the idea that it might have been accidentally released. So let's see if that makes any sense.

China shut down Wuhan immediately and would not let anyone in Wuhan travel to any other part of China and no one in China could go to Wuhan. This city is bigger than NYC, it is no small thing to quarantine a city of that size. Clearly from the very earliest they knew this was a very dangerous virus and yet they did not shut down international travel to and from Wuhan.

Not only so but they told us this was from a fish market in Wuhan. There has been no evidence to support that. We do know it is a bat virus and the closest bat caves are 1,000 miles away. This would be like blaming bats in Carlsbad New Mexico for starting this virus which first appears in New York City. A very unlikely scenario, especially since there has not been any evidence that this is true.

So at this point if you want to hold to the theory that the virus was released accidentally you have to conclude that China tried to cover up their negligence, and it was gross negligence in having international travel open while locking down the city to domestic travel.

But it gets worse, the Chinese had the genome of this virus months before the rest of the world and wouldn't release it, the genome was essential to create treatments and therapies. This is no longer an attempt to try and cover up your negligence but an active attempt to slow down the world from getting a cure. So if this is not an act of war at the very least it is an act of economic war where the Chinese are trying to corner the market on the cure.

But then we have even weirder things, Fauci, the head of the NIH, has close ties to this lab having financed the research into gain of function of bat viruses at this very same lab (gain of function means you weaponize the virus, turn it into a bioweapon). Any reasonable person in charge of the US response to the virus, a virus very similar to the ones your researchers are working on in Wuhan would have contacted those researchers, especially since this originated in Wuhan. So one would think that Fauci would have been the first to find out it came from the lab, but no, not only does he feign ignorance for 16 months originally he is adamant that it didn't and any insinuation that it did is fear mongering. So even though the president of the US and the Secretary of State are both telling the American people it did, they are mocked and ridiculed because people are listening to Fauci, a man with a financial interest in the very lab it came from. An accidental discharge does not explain Fauci's behavior, on the contrary you would have expected him to have discovered this in the Fall of 2019 and counseled the president to shut down all travel to Wuhan, instead he argued against that.

Not only so but it certainly does not explain the media's behavior. They mocked, ridiculed, even slandered anyone who said the virus was dangerous or who said it came from the lab. Why? It doesn't make any sense that CNN or MSNBC wouldn't ask serious questions about the origin of the virus. 16 months later all the evidence that they are looking at that is now "compelling" was available to them. Nor does this explain the tech giants censorship of anyone who disagreed with the official narrative of a wet market origin. They did that under the guise of "following the science" even though all those who were following the science ended up at the bioweapons lab in Wuhan. It really does not explain the behavior of Governor Cuomo and Whitmer who forced contagious people to return to nursing homes where they would infect everyone else. Both Michigan and NY had very high death rates associated with those who contracted it in a nursing home and then covered that up.

Occam's razor would eliminate simple negligence as an explanation. The simplest explanation that explains all of this is something that the CCP's military published in 2015. They said that a war with the US would need to start with a bio attack to weaken and disrupt their economy. You can understand the motivation of some of those who did this was political to remove Trump from office, but that would only be one piece to the puzzle. An orchestrated attack on the US by the CCP which includes removing Trump from office is the simplest explanation of what we have seen so far.

But it gets worse. There is this overwhelming pressure to get the vaccine despite the science saying that those who previously had the virus have immunity that is better than the vaccine. Not only so but there is plenty of science that suggests certain groups should be more wary than others of the vaccine as it can spark the biggest reaction in those who were recently infected. Why the illogical response to this virus? States that ignored the advice have done the best, people who have gone outdoors have not gotten sick, rather they have gotten better.

We are told in the book of Revelation that the dragon has seven heads and ten horns and that is what we are seeing with the response to the pandemic. You cannot trust the CCP, you cannot trust Fauci, you cannot trust Cuomo or Whitmer, you cannot trust the tech giants or mainstream media, and you cannot trust the Gates foundation. The advice they give appears to have several key objectives: destroy the middle class (the backbone of democracy), remove Trump from office, and force a "vaccine passport" on the entire world as a way to monitor your "social score" (how compliant you are to the totalitarian pressure).

The obvious conclusion to me is that we are seeing the rise of the antichrist. We have been under a "big lie" for 16 months, time to wake up.

1Corinthians 15:1-34 -- "Come back to your senses as you ought"

1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

This is a good time to be reminded of the gospel by which we are saved. Receive that word by faith and hold firmly to it.

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

Jesus was the Christ, the anointed of God, the Messiah. He was the incarnated word. He died for our sins, that is He paid the price so that we could be redeemed from sin. When you sin you become enslaved to sin, you have a debt that you can’t repay. By repaying that debt for us sin could no longer enslave us. He was also buried, that is the fulfillment of the sabbath rest. He was raised from the dead and brought all of us who believe into the new creation. We have a faithful witness of these events from the apostles, the disciples, and hundreds of believers over the ages.

9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11 Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

The New Testament was laid out by the apostle Paul, some have compared his ministry to the ministry of the resurrected Christ (Jesus earthly ministry is compared to David, and His heavenly ministry compared to Solomon). But Paul has nothing to boast of, if it were not for Jesus he would have been condemned to hell with Judas. So Paul’s ministry began from the very lowest point and yet he ultimately got to the highest point, similar to Jesus rising from the grave and ascending to the heavens.

12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

The internet has become flooded with saints all over the world having dreams of the rapture and being told to tell the believers that Jesus is coming. Yet, there are many other believers who insist they have heard all of that before, yada, yada, yada. This is nothing new. Thomas refused to believe Jesus had risen till he touched the wounds and saw for himself. That may sound sensible but it is rebuked by the Lord as faithless.

13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

Think about that, if his preaching is useless why has it had such a big impact on the entire world? The power of that message for the last 2,000 years is a strong testimony that Jesus rose from the dead. The resurrection is the power of the message.

15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.

Another great point, if Jesus didn’t rise from the dead the entire New Testament is based on the testimony of liars. How could these fishermen and an odd assortment of people fabricated such an elaborate and effective lie?

16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.

Here we come to the crux of the matter, if the rapture is not real, if the dead are not going to rise at the last trump, then Jesus also didn’t rise from the dead. You can’t believe that Jesus resurrected from the dead and also teach that the rapture is not real.

17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

What fool would do this? Who would make up a lie so that they could be persecuted, imprisoned, stoned, and martyred?

20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

We have seven great feasts in the Jewish year. Jesus was crucified on Passover, buried on the feast of unleavened bread, rose from the dead on the feast of first fruits, and the church was born on the feast of Pentecost. What is the point of starting the year with a “feast of firstfruits” that refers to Christ’s resurrection if the feast at the end of the year when you bring in the harvest does not really mean we are raptured?

21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

This is a very deep saying. At the time of Adam’s fall there was a prophecy that the seed of the woman would come and this seed would crush the serpent's head and the serpent would bruise His heel. If you look at the heavenly signs in September of 2017 we saw this sign, and the only other time it has appeared was in 3915 BC. So the prophecy at the time of Adam was fulfilled with the appearance of the sign in heaven of a woman with a crown of 12 stars, clothed in the sun, that brings forth a man child.

23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

There are three groups, Jesus Christ has already risen, the firstfruits refer to those who are raptured, and those who belong to Him refer to the redeemed who are not raptured and instead have to endure the tribulation.

24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

This is the point of this age, to cast out the prince of darkness and for every knee to bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

We know that He destroyed the power of death when He rose from the dead. So surely the best testimony of that will be the rapture of the saints with the dead rising first and then those that are alive. We can't be raptured until the other enemies have been put under out feet.

27 For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

This is the gospel message, God is all in all, Jesus is Lord. Hold firmly to this word otherwise you have believed in vain.

29 Now if there is no resurrection, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them? 30 And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour? 31 I face death every day—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord. 32 If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”

It is a very big thing to deny this truth. This is why the atheists contend so much over this point. Everything hinges on the resurrection of the dead, without that sin and redemption are meaningless. Do whatever you can get away with because there is no being held accountable at a final judgement.

33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” 34 Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.

It is truly shameful what some people who have the name of Christian are saying.

ICorinthians 15:35-58 God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ

35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.39 Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. 40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. 41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

Our life is a seed. In death we are planted and in resurrection we will grow with a glorified body.

42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

These are basic principles, the natural body is simply a shadow of the reality which is the spiritual body.

45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. 49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.

Again, if you can see that our human body will return to the dust of the ground, then you should also see that our spiritual body is of heaven. If you live according to your spirit you will be heavenly. If you have borne the image of your father on earth, then you will also bear the image of your Father in heaven.

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

So far in this age every key event in God’s economy has taken place during one of these great feast days. The next feast day is the festival of trumpets. It signifies the beginning of the new year, and in this case the beginning of the new age, the millennial kingdom of Christ. The way this works is you need two witnesses to confirm the new moon, as soon as they see the sliver of the new moon they will blow the trumpet to signal the festival of trumpets. For this reason they refer to this festival as “no one knows the day or the hour” because you have to have these two witnesses confirm it. The “last trump” refers to the last, loudest and longest blast of the trumpet. All the Jews at the time of Jesus would have understood “no one knows the day or the hour” and “the last trump” as referring to the festival of trumpets. This also ties into the Lord’s parable of the bridegroom coming for the bride at a time she doesn’t know. At that time the wedding procession will also be blowing the trumpets. This ties into the great sign in heaven from Revelation 12 that was seen September 2017. In a Jewish wedding the bride needs to walk around the groom three times before the wedding begins. The earth has circled the sun three times since that sign was seen. I would point out that "the last trump" may refer to the last rapture, since there appear to be 3 different raptures this simply adds a little more complexity to this entire issue.

53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

We must be clothed with the imperishable! This is the only way we could be the bride of Christ, the only way we could rule and reign with Christ, the only way we could be to the praise of His glory!

55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

In the rapture we will be overjoyed, praising God, and praising the Lord for His victory.

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

How did we get the victory over sin? It is through our Lord Jesus Christ. How are we gong to get the victory over death? It is through our Lord Jesus Christ. We will be praising and thanking Him for eternity.

58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

A lot of people are trying to figure out the date of the rapture and yet in this chapter we learn two key things that are more important. First we shall bear the image of the heavenly man. You cannot have the rapture prior to that and second, the last enemy to be defeated is death, so prior to that we must defeat every other enemy. The flesh, the natural man, the world, sin, and Satan must all be defeated prior to the rapture.

2 Peter 3:1-10 The Earth and the works therein shall be burned up

1 This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance; 2 that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles: 3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers shall come with mockery, walking after their own lusts, 4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming?

This is an important part of the gospel message to us. There are many who do not wish to cause trouble. They find these kind of discussions counterproductive. But it is essential that these ones not only walk in their lusts but also mock the Lord and His servants. This sets the stage for their judgement.

for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Here is their logical argument, you look around, don’t see anything that the Bible warns about so therefore they won’t see it. But to make this argument you have to willfully forget Rwanda, Ebola, the Holocaust, Russian Revolution, Cultural revolution, French revolution, etc.

5 For this they wilfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God; 6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

In Geology there was a theory called the principle of uniformitarianism which was a premise that the way the world was is pretty much the way it is now. So, some used that theory with something they falsely called science to claim that Noah’s flood and other cataclysmic events couldn’t take place. Then we discovered that in fact, at the end of the last ice age cataclysmic floods did take place every bit on the scale described in the Bible. We can use the size of ripple marks to determine how deep the water was that was flowing over them. We were able to determine that floods in the US and India were 40 meters deep just as the Bible said and that these floods did indeed flow down from the highest mountains. Since that point we have discovered that extinction events are very important in Earth’s history. They are rare, but they have happened five times prior to the current one and some were as horrific as anything we can even imagine. The last one was sixty five million years ago, so yes, they don’t happen all the time, but they do happen and when they do they are catastrophic. It was a shock to geologists when they discovered that in fact a meteorite was directly related to the extinction of the dinosaurs. After that we pushed for astronomers to track all the potential threats to life on Earth and have since discovered how very difficult that job is. We have had asteroids buzzing close to the Earth this year and according to NASA there is one that has the potential to strike the Earth around election day of this year.

8 But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The context of this is that the Lord’s return could come on the third day. This age began with the Lord’s resurrection as the firstfruit, and it will end with the resurrection of the saints as the harvest. The age is likened to a year that begins in the Spring with Jesus death and resurrection and ends with Jesus coronation and wedding. Our rapture is likened to the resurrection. What is interesting about this is that this year is the very first Jubilee year of the third millennium. Using this word by Peter this is early on the third day. It is somewhat complicated but the Jewish calendar is not equivalent to the calendar that we use so the number of years is not exactly the same.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

There are some fascinating examples of this. For example, there were many who thought the Lord’s return would take place on the Festival of Trumpets this year. This was based on many different prophecies likening this festival to the Lord’s wedding and coronation, and to the great heavenly sign that appeared on the Festival of Trumpets in 2017, and on the Jewish tradition of the Bride circling the groom three times before the wedding. But the calendar had the festival of Trumpets on September 18th. After that date they discovered that on a Jubilee year the festival of trumpets is on the day of atonement ten days later, September 28th. But then, we learned more about the Biblical calendar. Although it is a lunar calendar (the first day of every month is a new moon) it is also a solar calendar because the first month cannot begin before the Spring equinox. When that happens you have a “leap month” adding a month to the calendar and have 13 months that year. This year the first month began immediately after the equinox. However, there is a second test which is that it must take place during the Barley harvest (so that you can celebrate the feast of firstfruits). This is harder to calculate and there was some dispute about this. The third check is that if you have done this correctly the Festival of Trumpets will occur after the Fall equinox. September 18th was before the Fall equinox, so they made a mistake. This is a year where we add a leap month an extra month giving people that extra little bit of time to repent. Therefore the real start of the month is October 18th which is also a “super new moon” (the new moon that occurs when the moon is closest to the Earth). But since it is also a Jubilee year that gives people another ten days on top of that to repent. Therefore the festival of Trumpets this year will be on October 28th and 29th.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

This is important, the clarification that Peter gives. Yes, the day of the Lord will come as a thief, but not to everybody. If you are raptured, if you are like the wise virgins whose vessels are full of oil, if you are like Noah when he entered the ark, it doesn’t come as a thief for you. That is because you were wise, you heeded the warnings, you repented and you prepared. But for all those mockers and those walking in the lust of their flesh it will certainly come as a thief. Recently there was a vineyard in California that was burned to the ground and the owner was on the news saying everything they had built up over generations was gone. That should be a warning to everyone. Ron Reagan, Ronald Reagan’s son, was a very famous atheist who claimed he was not afraid of the fires of hell. Where is he now? Why isn’t he making those ads now?

2Peter 3:11-18 Knowing these things beforehand

11 Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness, 12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

This is why this is a crucial part of the gospel message. When you have a vision of the end of the age it is a controlling vision. You live and walk in light of that vision. Little, petty offences look just like that, small, petty and insignificant.

13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

We are not rejoicing that some people are not repenting or that God’s judgement will fall on some. Instead, our focus is on the new heavens and new earth where righteousness dwells. Let’s consider how incredibly unrighteous the situation is here in October of 2020. We have just learned that the FBI had Hunter Biden’s laptop with thousands of emails completely laying out a corruption scandal between Hunter Biden, business interests in the Ukraine, China, Iraq, and other countries and Joe Biden. Not only so but there were also thousands of pictures that proved Hunter Biden continued to be a drug addict and also involved in child porn. They have had this laptop for a year. Did they bring charges against the Biden crime family? No. However the story still managed to leak out this month. Facebook whose executive in charge of dealing with the Presidential campaign censored this story. It turns out that this person worked with Biden in Obama’s administration on the Ukraine deals. Twitter also censored the story, locking out the President’s press secretary for tweeting the story and locking the NY Post account. They were caught in an ugly web of hypocrisy which is a whole other story of lies and deceit. But the story is not just of a corrupt politician and his reprobate son, nor is it of an FBI coverup or even of censorship by these giant tech giants. Adam Schiff a prominent leader among the Democrats put out a story saying that the intelligence community had evidence that this laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. In other words the whole story is false, made up by the Russians to impact our election. So the Director of National Intelligence also went on the news to state publicly and unequivocally that there is absolutely no intelligence suggesting that the laptop is part of a Russian disinformation campaign. He said that 100% of the intelligence that Adam Schiff gets goes through him and he lied when he said this. That makes Adam Schiff guilty of a disinformation campaign to alter the election. CNN and MSNBC both ran with Adam Schiff, using his statements to discredit the story. So CNN, MSNBC and senior members of the democratic party are part of this disinformation campaign to cover up the sins of Joe Biden. But it is even worse than that when you consider the potential security risk of having a president blackmailed by foreign countries clearly aware of his sins would pose. But incredible as this all is there is still more. This puts the entire dossier that Clinton’s camp put together to smear Trump and the three year campaign to investigate and impeach him in an entirely new light of crooks taking a preemptive shot. Since then we had a massive cyber attack that stole information from virtually every essential government service in this country and then we had a hack of the pipeline which was shut down for a week, disrupted for two weeks, and caused significant gas shortages to the East coast. Yet Biden immediately dismissed allegations that this was an attack from Russia even though the cyber attack did come from Russia.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.

Every one of us needs the Lord’s blood to have peace with God. Every one of us needs to repent of our sins. Do not go down this road of covering them up, lying about them, and adding to them by trying to attack and destroy others.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you; 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unsteadfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Look at that, what a great example. Paul rebuked Peter to his face in the book of Galatians because he was to be condemned. Does Peter hold a grudge? No, he testifies of Paul and confirms Paul’s ministry. What a great testimony and a great example.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own steadfastness.

Can we please not skim over verses like this! Knowing these things beforehand is a critical part of the gospel we preach. Everyone on earth knows that the rapture is part of the Christian belief. That is important because when they see it they need to know that they are seeing the rapture. Satan will try to deceive them with Alien abductions. There will be many people left on Earth like Lot who although they were not “preachers of righteousness” like Noah, were still “righteous men”. They will need to repent of their fear of the mockers and those who walk in the lust of their flesh and take a stand for righteousness. Knowing this beforehand will help them to repent.

18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I have seen many of these Youtube accounts of “rapture dreams” and as good as they are, the key point is to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior. If a dream helps you wake up that is great, but it is the fellowship of the apostles, the word of God that will help you grow in grace and the Knowledge of the Savior.

To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

I had a weird dream this morning. It was kind of in two parts, the first part I was inside sitting around a table with two or three others putting together a report or a business plan or something along those lines. When we were finished I needed to get home, I came outside and it looked like my car had been in a bad fender bender with the whole quarter panel smashed but when I looked closer it wasn't my car, it was a Nissan. Then I saw two guys who appeared drunk laying down in a dumpster, apparently the two who were responsible for this. But when I came to my car the trunk had been dismantled. It seems I had a chauffeur and he needed some part while he was waiting for me and so he took the trunk apart! I asked if we had all the pieces in the car, he said yes, so I said let's go, we'll put it back together at the house.

Thinking on this I realized that a Nissan car and the month Nissan were a play on words and there were a number of those online who were putting together teachings about significant dates in the month Nissan and that was essentially smashed. It also occurred to me that many are confused, disheartened, drunk, or just incapable of waiting without getting into trouble.

So then why don't we try to put together what we do know.

1. We have a mission to immerse everyone in this world into the Triune God.

2. In accord with that mission (my car is an accord) we are witnesses of the Lord Jesus.

3. As servants who are waiting on their Lord and watching it is our job to make sure the house is not broken in. That means we are to stand against the apostasy. This country was founded on the principle of freedom to worship the Lord and we need to guard that.

4. The rapture is likened to the resurrection and we are told clearly that death is the last enemy that is defeated. That means prior to our rapture we need to defeat every other enemy. No doubt that begins with the flesh, the self, the old man, but ultimately it includes casting Satan out of heaven. The name Satan means enemy. He will tempt us with coveting so we need to put all coveting to death (the life of the altar and the tent).

5. Stop looking to the Old Testament feasts, that is part of the Old Covenant. The Lord enacted a new covenant in His blood and in that covenant we are to keep one day, the Lord's day, and celebrate one feast, the Lord's table. That feast is a rehearsal for our wedding dinner.

6. We have been told clearly by the Lord that it is not for us to know days or hours. However, we do know the things that lead to peace, we do know the Lord's commandments, we do know how to interpret this time, we do know that there is nothing covered that shall not be known, we do know the Son and we do know that the kingdom has come nigh. To us it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom. We can know every tree by its fruit.

7. Most importantly we know the way of salvation. What good is knowing the date if you don't know the way of salvation, and if you do know the way, and you know the truth, and you know the life, then those are the only things that matter.

1Timothy 6:20 Guard that which is committed unto thee

1Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, guard that which is committed unto thee, turning away from the profane babblings and oppositions of the knowledge which is falsely so called; 21 which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

This is the charge to Timothy.

1Timothy 1: 11 according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

This is what we are to guard. The gospel of the glory of the blessed God was committed to our trust, we are to guard it, turning away from profane babblings and the opposition of what they falsely call knowledge.

I remember when I was in college in 1980 there were people who confidently affirmed that the stories in the Bible were false. For example if there had ever been a flood that went over the tops of the highest mountains as Genesis describes we would have evidence of it and all people and creatures would have been killed. I was studying Geology and the guiding principle of Geology is “the present is the key to the past”. There is no meteorologic event that could explain 40 days and night of rain for the whole earth. It was a persuasive argument. Either the Bible is true or it is false. But this argument is falsely called knowledge because what it is really based on is the lack of knowledge. What they really meant is that we didn’t know about the evidence of such a flood and we didn’t know about a mechanism whereby we would get such a flood.

Since that time Geologists got a very big shock as evidence of the mass extinction for the Dinosaurs turned out to be a meteorite. Prior to that we had no idea that sudden cataclysmic events could be so powerful. Since then we have learned that although the present is the key to the past the history of life on Earth has been punctuated by five major extinction events and the one that wiped out the dinosaurs wasn’t even the worst of them.

For those of you who have watched the animated movies called Ice Age and Ice Age 2 you have seen them depict giant dams of water that burst at the end of the ice age. This is because we have discovered massive floods that came down out of the Himalayas and the Rocky Mountains at the end of the last ice age, floods on a biblical scale every bit as horrific as described by Noah. The problem is that as we see the glaciated highlands melt today we don’t see “ice dams” forming. On the contrary we see the water draining out continuously. So the same people who falsely said we had knowledge that Noah’s flood was not true because the present is the key to the past are the same ones pushing a theory that is contrary to the present is the key to the past. It is important to understand this because there are many who use “science” to push their agendas and will claim science says whatever they need it to say. This has been evident during the pandemic, they lied when they said science had shown HCQ to be ineffective and dangerous at treating Covid19, it is effective and could have saved 20,000 lives or more had they not lied. They say science has shown masks are effective at stopping the transmission when science doesn’t confirm that at all, on the contrary the use of masks could facilitate the spread of respiratory diseases, not inhibit them.

So if the floods that came out of the Himalayas and Rockies were not from dams bursting, then where did it come from? When it rains on snow and ice there is no place for the water to go, it can’t seep into the ground so it runs off. When you get massive rain over glaciated mountains you will get flash floods, not only so but this rain will cause the melting of the glaciers causing even more tremendous flooding. We now know a meteorite hit the Indian Ocean causing a massive Tsunami which left behind sand dunes a thousand feet high on Madagascar and which put a tremendous amount of water up into the stratosphere which would have circled the globe before returning as rain. So although it is true that 40 days and nights of rain could not be caused by any meteorologica event we have seen, it could have been caused by a meteorite hitting the ocean.

We have been given the gospel of the glory of God. According to this gospel the Lord will save us with a mighty hand and deliver us from this evil age. All those ones who profess to have knowledge that contradicts this gospel it is merely profane musings from people who have erred concerning the faith. There are those who are not “true children of faith”. Their faith is feigned. They don’t hold faith as being precious and have therefore become shipwrecked in regards to the faith. First and foremost we are teachers, witnesses of the Lord, in faith. We must continue in the faith. The only way we can hold the mystery of the faith is if we have a pure conscience, otherwise we too will be shipwrecked. If you want to have boldness during the tribulation and persecution that is coming it is only through faith. Everyday we need to be nourished in the faith and our life is to be an example in faith. Covetousness and the love of money is what leads many astray from the faith. Now at the end of the age we are here fighting the good fight of the faith. This faith has once for all been committed to us and we need to guard it.

2Timothy 4 The time of my departure is at hand

4 I charge thee in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts; 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables. 5 But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry. 6 For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure is come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: 8 henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.

This is the time that Paul is talking about. The time is clearly now when they will not endure sound doctrine. This is what Paul was most concerned about when he knew the time of his departure has come. Preach the word, be urgent, reprove, rebuke, exhort. How is it that they were able to heap to themselves many teachers who would tell them exactly what they wanted to hear about the pandemic? If they admitted the truth, that the CCP designed this in a lab as a weapon it would not have pushed their narrative that “orange man bad”. The Mueller investigation was built on a fable, the two impeachments were built on fables. They listen to people who tell them what they want to hear, rather than telling them the truth. We were told in all certainty that the pandemic came from bats in a cave 1,000 miles from Wuhan, jumped to a pangolin, and then somehow went to the big city where it caused this outbreak. The problem is that there was no evidence at all this was true while there was overwhelming evidence that it was a bioweapon, it was manmade and it was at a lab that was experimenting with corona viruses. This last election was a trial, can you be sober in all things? Kamala Harris told us the border was a human rights crisis and that if she were elected she would put a stop to it. She was elected and she hasn’t visited the border once and if it was a human rights crisis before now it is a full blown catastrophe. Listen to Paul, he says there is a crown laid up for him. Why? Well, he fought the good fight, and he finished his course and he kept the faith. That is what we need to do. We all need to fight the good fight, we all need to finish our course and we all need to keep the faith. If we do that then we will love His appearing.

9 Give diligence to come shortly unto me: 10 for Demas forsook me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to [g]Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee; for he is useful to me for ministering. 12 But Tychicus I sent to Ephesus. 13 The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, bring when thou comest, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord will render to him according to his works: 15 of whom do thou also beware; for he greatly withstood our words. 16 At my first defence no one took my part, but all forsook me: may it not be laid to their account. 17 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

When the Lord returns we will find Christians in all of these conditions. There will be those who have forsaken the ministry having loved the present evil age. There will also be those like Luke who are faithfully ministering. There will be others like Mark who had previously stumbled but repented and are now useful. Then there will be those who are doing much evil. There will be many who forsake the Lord like Peter did at His crucifixion, but if they repent they can still be saved out of the tribulation. All of this will be so that the message can be fully proclaimed. The court cases, the trials, the accusations, the daily news reports are all so that the message can be fully proclaimed.

19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus remained at Corinth: but Trophimus I left at Miletus sick. 21 Give diligence to come before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.

22 The Lord be with thy spirit. Grace be with you.

Rejected Silver

I have been considering the dream I had, I saw the hood of my trunk dismantled and sitting in the trunk. I asked the guy who did this if all the pieces were there and he said yes. So I said let’s go home we can put it back together once we get there. This blog is like the trunk of my car, it is filled with all kinds of pieces concerning the rapture but nothing is put together. I feel the Lord is telling me that all the pieces are here, so instead of gathering more pieces it is time to put them together. The hood is the lid, the capstone, just as the rapture will be.

Jeremiah 6:30 Refuse silver shall men call them, because Jehovah hath rejected them.

This verse has really stuck with me. It seems to me that Isaiah is the prophet to those prior to the first rapture whereas Jeremiah is the prophet to those who are left behind, those who refused to heed the word of the Lord, to those who are in lamentations during the tribulation. Those who are left behind are like “rejected silver”.

Ps 66:10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

The believers are like silver that is tried whereas those who are left behind are like rejected silver. So then this 2,000 year period is a time of refining us as silver is refined.

Psalm 12:6 The words of Jehovah are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, Purified seven times.

This verse really hit me because we have seven churches, each of which is going through a refining process to get rid of the dross. If you read Revelation 2 and 3 looking for the dross, the rejected silver you can find it easily. It also hit me because there are 7 categories of blessings to Abraham which make up “all spiritual blessings” that the book of Ephesians refers to. With each refining process you remove the dross and what is left is a blessing like shiny silver.

1. The first blessing is Unto a land that I will show you. It is a vision of where we are headed.

The dross in the first church (Ephesus) is self righteousness. They are caught up in investigating the apostles to see if they are speaking the true word of God. This is a good work and they are commended for it. Yet the dross is that they left their first love, the savior, the good samaritan, the good shepherd. The dross is being a “holy and righteous” church without saving sinners, without helping those that had been beaten up by sin.

2. And I will make of thee a great nation

The dross in Smyrna is the ego. Those that want to be first and are not willing to be last. They want to be rich, not willing to be poor. Want comfort, not willing to go through tribulation. The blessing is that God “will make of thee a great nation”, not that you already are a great nation. I think we got a great illustration of this principle with Tom Brady. He had had an illustrious career and was guaranteed to go into the Hall of Fame. He was very old for a starting quarterback and could have retired. Instead he went to another team that had the worst record of any franchise in the NFL. He was willing to be last, he was willing to be poor and he was willing to go through tribulation. He was ridiculed, mocked and attacked over every missed play or stumble along the way. Yet, in the very first year he took them to the Superbowl and made them champions. I will make of thee a great nation doesn’t mean we are special, we will have to get our hands dirty, roll up our sleeves and do the hard work like everyone else.

3. And I will bless thee

Dross in Pergamum is the compromise with the old man, willing to let those who teach the believers to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit fornication to be among you. Not only so but you let the believers compromise, some can be absolute, others will merely be spectators. We will let some be the clergy and the rest will simply sit and listen. If you want to be blessed you need to be purified of this compromise with your old man.

4. And make thy name great

The dross in Thyatira is a finer form of compromise, you feel that some words in the Bible are outdated, need to be inclusive, allow Jezebel a woman and a foreigner, to prophesy. Her sin is subtler, the “deep things of Satan”. It is hidden, like adultery. You are compromising with the flesh. The name of the church could never be great as long as there are those who are compromising with the flesh and cutting deals with the flesh.

5. Be thou a blessing

Sardis pretends to be something they aren’t. They claim to be living, yet are dead. They claim to be a source of blessing, yet their works are not complete. They pretend to be righteous and holy but most have defiled their garments. If the church is truly going to be a blessing to others then we need to wash away the pretense.

6. I will bless those that bless thee

Self preservation is the dross that is removed from Philadelphia. The Lord washed away all those that deny the Lord’s name, those that wither under attacks and insults. Those that forsake the Lord’s word in the midst of the battle. If you want the Lord to have our back and bless those that bless thee, then you need to have His back.

7. All nations will be blessed in thee

Contentment is the dross in Laodicea. Happy to live in your own little bubble while the rest of the world goes up in flames. You need to leave your little cocoon to be a blessing to the nations and defend them from Satan. The Lord is outside, He is knocking, you need to wake up, open your eyes, and open the door. This corresponds to the end of chapter six of Ephesians where we see the warrior. The church is the Lord's army that can defeat the Antichrist and his armies as a blessing to all nations.

The Lord has tried us, that is what is happening in the churches, it is a process of refining silver and in every stage you see the rejected silver and you see the shining lampstand that has been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies.
