I am not sure Jesus meant for us to always and forever turn the other cheek.
There comes a time when one must FIGHT for what is right and just. It is not right and just to have a "president" who stole the presidency..

Jesus gave us the Our Father prayer in which we pray
God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven
There is no murder in Heaven. Why is there murder of the most helpless, most innocent of all here on Earth?

yeh, i noticed that
i used to like to argue (in a negative way) w hen I was younger... you know how young people can be... sigh..
But I began to appreciate wisdom and ever since then... well, it didn't make logical sense to me to argue with certain people, those who do not want to hear a *&^% word u say.. waste o'time
frankly... and this won't sound good and I'll probably get clobbered by u and others.. but frankly, I don't CARE whether Trump is himself a Christian (weak one or not)... because he DID Christian things... He did tangible things to protect the unborn... didn't just TALK about like previous R presidents..
He did things FOR America... not against.

are chosen by God or not.. I mean, I have found God quite perplexing at times... People act like they know this and that about God but ... that seems rather presumptuous (of fallen human beings)

I don't hate him. I simply don't consider him as a friend bcs I don't know him personally, and I don't know his faith. Do you two know him personally to know where he truly stands? If your supports come from knowing him that well, I understand, but if not, then be warned that you've let your guard down to a stranger. Any person can appear to be your friend by merely signing an order that will help you, and be evil at heart, or have an evil intention. Such a person is called a hypocrite. Hence, such a simple action as that should not be considered as doing good or a measure of that person's faith.
As for Trump though, he has stated himself that he is a friend of Bill Gates, one of the richest people on Earth, promoting vaccines, and there is no rich person that is good, nor can a true servant agree with such a one.
Then hear the Word of the Lord:
“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him. “For all who draw the sword will die by the sword." (mat 26:52)
If you truly believe the Word, then put your trust in the Lord instead of the things of the world. The Word is sharper than any double-edged sword, (and a bullet is not even as sharp as a sword.)
And you, willing to fight fire with fire, contrary to His commandment, believe that Trump has done Christian things? You've testified against yourself that you don't know fully the way of the Lord.
