I recently got the Lesser Keys of Solomon, and I was wondering if such a text would be considered evil by Christian standards ?

Aleister Crowley, if he is the author of your book, was an occultist, if not a witch/warlack. BURN IT. Having stuff like that in your house invites the demonic.

I think you'll find the Lesser Key has no author. And is a compilation of numerous texts dating back as far as the 14th century some of which might I add are Christian in origin. Aleister Crowley simply edited a version of the Grimoire. And I have no intention of burning it... cost me an arm and a leg :\

Its a book, on MAGIC. Sumoning demons, and all that stuff.
This stuff isnt Evil by "Christians standards" Its Evil by GODS standards!!

I would second the burning of the Book.

Its Really from satan.

God repeadedly in the OT(that was before Christianity btw) that he HATES Withcraft. HATES it. And Demons HATE humans, so they WILL mess with you....i hope you know what your in for. Do you know how demons mess with people, forlorn? Its not all lamps flying through the air, and menecing laughter, or shadows creeping around(though that stuff can happen)

NO, its horrible sins you will start to fall into. Its chaos insuing in your house. People suddenly getting horrible angry, when before they never did. Abuse. Horrible nightmares. Depression. etc... I really would get rid of that book, and anythign else like it. But i cant force you. Just Seek Jesus with all you are. Truly He loves you, but he cant help you adn guide you, if you arent born-again, adn livnign for him, in order for him to keep you safe. SIgh...anyway...Your in my prayers my friend.

I already have some of that so meh and mate Ive studied demonology for over 3 years Im capable of seperating "fact" from fiction.

Get rid of that book. Not joking... be careful with what you learn, not everything is good to learn. If God wants you to learn something like that for some purpose, he won't put a feeling of insecurity about it. That book could be as bad as having a ouija board or even worse. Remember that demons are tricky and they will try to get your attention.

Let's hope that's all it costs you Forlorn. I gave you more credit than this......hope I wasn't wrong. Use your noggin' bud. You're smarter than that and deserve better. Trust is a must .....in spite of circumstances. Christ's love trumps all. I wouldn't lie to you :)

Forlorn, I have no idea what this book is but is there a website with quotes from it or even the whole thing so i can have a little looksy? lol

Also I dont really believe in 'gateways' or 'invitations' from demons, mainly because ive found no scriptural evidence. If demons want to try attack you then they will regardless of what you do or have. Ultimately though i believe in the sovereignty of God over demons and that they cant do anything without asking Him first. So i dont REALLY think a book is going to suddenly make ur house Mordor (lord of the rings quote there :p)

But yeah send me a link and Ill let you know if I think its evil or not lol
