Woah, wait, how is that right?! They're hiding their stuggles, it's not any less wrong then someone who comes out and admits their struggles. @ Mark isn't condoning sin. He's saying it takes baby steps for some people. Why are you condeming him?! Both are struggling. He's being open and honest about it.
I condemn no one; only God condemns.

What I'm saying is, homosexuals have a double standard. Those homosexuals who claim to be Christian, and acknowledge homosexuality is a sin, will continue to openly live a homosexual lifestyle, flaunt their homosexual lifestyle with rainbow flags for all the world to see, impressionable children included, demand school teach children the homosexual lifestyle, demand privately held companies owned by conservative Christians cater to the homosexual lifestyle, march in homosexusl parades, and affirm homosexual unions and call them "marriages" when they are not in fact marriages but something other than.

Love does not require affirmation or approval. In fact, love requires me to tell my heterosexual and homosexual brothers and sisters in Christ that they are living a lifestyle that will send them straight to hell if in fact they are willingly living an unrepentant lifestyle that is offensive to God.

Repent and believe, put your faith trust, and rest in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. ❤

The real debate and where everyone is failing is how to help Gay people move forward and closer to Christ.
Receiving the infilling of the Holy Ghost is what empowers people to overcome sinful lifestyles.

It was Jesus who made the following statement that was later carried out on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) and confirmed again by Paul in Acts 19:1-6:

"...Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye are witnesses of these things.
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high." Luke 24:46-49

Do not we judge those that are within the church? Those that do not want to leave their lifestyle should be put out of the fellowship of the church. In fact, we should not even share a meal with them. Yes?

If they continue... We're not talking about that, we're talking about people who are struggling.

Let's be clear: You're perfectly welcome to criticize. You do so perfectly in a perfectly passive-agressive sort of way. But no one here is about to kill anyone for their sins. Helping a brother or sister to see the error of their way is not casting stones, but is lovingly correcting errant sinful behavior. Do you ever tell a brother or sister who openly sins that their behavior or lifestyle is sinful and against the will of God? Or do you affirm their sinful conduct because you are afraid of telling them the truth? Just curious.

Correct. Jesus - the incarnate God, the divine God-man - commanded the woman to sin no more. Unless, of course, you're saying what Jesus told the woman was a suggestion. I hope not.

As mere mortals Christian, we are taught by God's Word to repent of sin, to recognize sin in our brother and sister, and after we've taken the plank from our eye to help our brothers and sisters that are fallen into sin by removing the speck from their eye. Jesus taught that. You don't follow that command?

Yes, I'm sure you're right about hetero adultery and porn addicts. I'm certain that when hetero adulterers and porn addicts come out of the closet and proclaim their pride aloud for being adulterers and porn addicts and start to march in parades with a flag mocking a promise God made to Noah, they'll likely see the same response to their disgusting behavior that the homosexual has seen toward theirs.
One meme is all that it takes to show the stunning hypocrisy of your rebuttal.

Jesus sees the hidden sin just as clearly as the ones out in the open. And you are guilty of disparity. Adultery is adultery is sin. In God's eyes the sin is the same.

Are their openly professing gay people in here? If there are, biblical counseling says we are take them to the side and discuss the issue with them, even after this, when we see no repentance, we take another brother or sister, only after pleading and help and continual refusal to listen do we bring them in front of the church and ask them to confess, if they refuse, we ask Them to leave and not come back until they repent,

is this what’s going on here?

yeah I do criticize, I criticize people who call out certain sins judge them while ignoring their own sin, your not going to win a lost soul by judging a sin issue, they must come to Jesus first and be born again, then and only then can they find healing,

You know, that is an interesting phrase Jesus used. In the Greek the tense of the word used for “sin” actually means ”that kind of sin.” So, in effect what Jesus said was, ”Go and quit that Kind/type of sin.” Of course the implications are to stop all sin, but in this case Jesus was calling her to put an end to her particular weakness, or sin.

Not sure if thise is what you mean. But the Greek word translated sin “hamarton” literally means to miss the mark

so to sin is to miss the mark

What is the mark is the question? According to romans 3 it is the glory of God..is this perfection?

Yes, but in order to receive the Holy Spirit one must clean their temple first. It is easy to grieve the spirit and send it away. Gay people are in a state of mortal sin, I am not denying this at all. And because we have defiled and messed up our temples God will not enter them until we have put our affairs in order.

What I am talking about is preparing and cleaning the house so the spirit can enter and do his work. The steps I laid out are how a gay person, like myself can go from deep mortal sin through to redeemed Eunuch for the glory of the Kingdom of heaven.

Everyone thinks that salvation is some magic wand kind of thing. You repent and get baptised and you're done. I'm far too experienced in life to know this is only part of the story. Gay people experience lifelong attraction to the same sex. God does not take it away and that is a truth you need to accept. We have to have a plan that is lifelong, not some transitory uplifting experience that degrades with time and memory. 'The long road home' is not just lip service to a cop out, it's the truth of a very real struggle with a battle that will be with us until our dying day.

I didn't have to stand up and wave my hand. I could have done what most gay people do and run to the shadows to hide. But I stand up and I speak the truth so that those with reasonable hearts and a true love for God might find a way to reach an alienated group that is far from the glory of God.

You're Welcome.

how do we put our affairs in order? Either some of our sin has made us unfil to accept the Holy Spirit or none has. If none, we dont have to clean up anything. If even a little sliver of sin prevents us from accepting the HS, how do we atone for that sin? Sin can ONLY be atoned by the blood of Jesus. Does he have to die again?

Im not being argumentative, or combative, this is a legitimate question. Much of what I believed was challenged by a Christian Rabbi and it has shown me a lot about these things that I never saw before. I would like some real discussions, not insults being hurled at those who disagree with you.

What I am talking about is preparing and cleaning the house so the spirit can enter and do his work. The steps I laid out are how a gay person, like myself can go from deep mortal sin through to redeemed Eunuch for the glory of the Kingdom of heaven.
has not the HS already come into you? If so, it cant leave, NOTHING can make it leave, Jesus said so. Once the HS is in you, you are in the hands of Jesus, and we all know the scripture of what Jesus said about that.

Everyone thinks that salvation is some magic wand kind of thing. You repent and get baptised and you're done.
Its not a magic wand, but it is as simple as accepting the gift freely offered by God. Gift is the HS. and baptism is not needed. In fact, the history of baptism is fascinating. The pharisees questioned John why he was baptizing. Thing is, only gentiles were suppose to get baptized. WHY? And why was John, against the demands of the Pharisees to stop, baptizing Jews?
But you accept the HS, and it is done. Repentence comes as a natural consequence of wanting to follow Jesus now. The more I follow Jesus, the less I sin. If Im reading secular books and movies, but then I start reading the Bible more to follow Jesus, it naturally occurs that I have less time to do the other crap that leads to sin. Do u understand? This was explained to me recently and I changed my pov on things.

I'm far too experienced in life to know this is only part of the story.
ok old man,,hahah, but I bet im older than you

Even Paul said, {"why do I do what I dont want to, and dont do what I should?" In Gods infinite wisdom, He gave us this struggle to live with. I would have to say, definately one of His great mysteries LOL

I didn't have to stand up and wave my hand. I could have done what most gay people do and run to the shadows to hide. But I stand up and I speak the truth so that those with reasonable hearts and a true love for God might find a way to reach an alienated group that is far from the glory of God.

thats awesome, you a good man

Your temple was cleaned by Jesus. Or r u telling me that some of the stuff we do, we have to clean up the temple? How would we do that? Only the blood of Jesus can atone for our sin. Does He have to die again?
