As Christians we are called to be the light and salt of the Earth, to spread the good news of jesus, to lead rightous lives and lead through our example, The bible doesnt tell us to be the Judge of peoples sins, when you call out others sins you are judging them and there is a lot to be said about judging in the bible,
Jesus spread a message of love, He lived a life of love, healing, feeding, and saving people, and as Christians we should do the same, If someone who is sinning and comes to know Christ, then HE will point that out to them, HE will help them get over that aspect, like he has done with us all when we first got saved.
You do believe that
ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God (2Tim 3:16) and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness? Right! You do understand what that all means, don't you? Because if you do not, then you need to, before you open your mouth about judging. This is why. Doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness IS NOT JUDGING! Let that sink in.
Now, Paul wrote (
Romans 1), you do agree with that don't you? OK! Is there any problem with knowing the kind of people and individuals that Paul is addressing? He is not talking bout an adulterer or an adulteress. He is not talking about sinners as a whole. He is not talking about profane people or those that broke the (10) commandments. He is talking about those who are an abomination and have been dissapproved by Him. And He has given them over to the lusts that is in their heart to do all kinds of unnatural and vile things with one another. He says some pretty serious things and lays some heavy charges against them in this chapter, does he not?
Paul is using the purity of God's light to expose the darkness of these individuals and what they are all about and what God thinks of them and has done to them because of their rejection of Him and all that He has created. IS PAUL JUDGING THESE INDIVIDUALS THAT HE IS SPEAKING OF? Yes or No? Is this chapter given for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and instruction in righteousness? Yes or No?
I am not going to let you get away with accusing me or anyone else of judging people when you have no idea what judging really is. If you do know, then tell me what you understand and don't just quote scriptures, tell me what they mean. Address me personally and don't treat me as a third party, because I am addressing you personally according to your statements.
God has given this earth and the people of this world an example of a great cry of grievious sin in (Gen 18:20,21) that went unto God. God visited Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities to see if it was so. It was so and He rained down from heaven fire and brimestone and destroyed all the people in those cities. He found Lot and his two daughters to be righteous and spared them only. Is that story inspired of God? Yes or No? If it is inspired and true, then it is given as a warning to all those that are likened to the people of those cities. It doesn't matter if it is your neighbor, cousin or sibling, they should be warned. NO SENTIMENTALITY! Have you read (
2Pt 2: 6-9 and the rest of the chapter)? Was Peter judging these individuals with all that he said about them? Yes or No? Do we ignore what these two great apostles of Jesus Christ have to say or do we give more earnest heed to them, less they slip away from us (Heb 2:1).
