Good morning to all. Been out for awhile.
The other day I passed by the full length mirror in my Living Room, and paused. I looked at the man looking back at me and my mind began to wonder many, many things. Memories of past events, and past failures came to mind, and I wondered how that, knowing all I was, and all I am, God could have chose to send His beloved Son to shed His precious blood on the Cross of Calvary to make it possible for me to be cleansed of all I remember, and all I am, and become worthy to be called a child of His. To become an heir to the Promise. There truly are no words to perfectly describe what love God must hold in His heart for me and for all mankind.
I try to be worthy, and I try to walk a life pleasing to Him, but I know I am not perfect, and there are going to be times I stumble. Yet, still, He loves me.
Romans 3:24-25 “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”
Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
