I made spaghetti a couple of days ago and am still eating through it :D I have started using green onions instead of white/red/yellow onions, and also add/use various colored peppers (never green!) as well as zucchini and usually celery (which I forgot to buy before the spag was made, though it has since been purchased and goes into my cheese and onion omelets' breakfasts :D). Cooking early in the day is a wise decision ;)(y) Haha, though 7 am is very early! o_O

Yeah motivation when you are on your own can be quite hard at times... Usually it's very easy to say.. I'll do that tomorrow :ROFL:

Yes, walking to the shops counts :):D

I do have wound care today (every other day is great for getting me out multiple times a week :D). And I tend to do some grocery shopping after having that looked after... Instacart is trying to lure me back by tempting me with 10 and 20 dollars off orders... I did take advantage of a 20 dollar discount through their grocery delivery service recently, but shopping in person every other day means I do not need to spend that much most of the time if I am shopping wisely, which I must admit I do not always do LOL. Gotta avoid those hot bars and prepared foods! Hooray for home made spaghetti!!! (y):giggle::giggle::giggle:

just in case anyone is wondering/asking..

It’s hard these days for me, wont Go into detail but as always I have sunk down into the pit of despair. Those who know me (as littlebit1987) know this already. I havent Feel like myself in days/weeks But About this time is when friends of any kind Leave me, which is why I rarely get on here anymore cause I don’t know How I will react to some folks here.

But please know I AM getting help, it’s just a process like anything else when you go see the doctor about an illness. Just. takes. Time.

thanks For being understanding

Hi She_is_Legendary,

Sorry to hear of your despair. I'll be praying for you and I am sure others will as well.

A Psalm of comfort that may comfort you is Psalm 42 I'll post it in full here. In Psalm 42 we can see the heart of despair in the Psalmist, but He remembers that his hope is i the Lord... and he says I will yet praise Him.

Keep seeking the help you are getting from professionals and remember that for a short time we may suffer in this life and God may grant relief but ultimately we all look forward to the time when - ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away (Rev 21:4)."

For the director of music. A maskil[ of the Sons of Korah.

1 As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?
3 My tears have been my food
day and night,
while people say to me all day long,
“Where is your God?”
4 These things I remember
as I pour out my soul:
how I used to go to the house of God
under the protection of the Mighty One[d]
with shouts of joy and praise
among the festive throng.
5 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.
6 My soul is downcast within me;
therefore I will remember you
from the land of the Jordan,
the heights of Hermon—from Mount Mizar.
7 Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
have swept over me.
8 By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life.
9 I say to God my Rock,
“Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I go about mourning,
oppressed by the enemy?”
10 My bones suffer mortal agony
as my foes taunt me,
saying to me all day long,
“Where is your God?”
11 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.

Is haggis made more palatable by adding Vegemite to it?:unsure::unsure::giggle::giggle::giggle:

Yes, healing is going fine, though the wound opening now is so tiny that it hurt like heck today when they were packing it, and we do not want the opening closing before the inner parts are all filled in... I neglected to ask today how deep the wound is still; it was recently about 3 cms deep, I think... they measure about once a week :D

The whole world has gone mad with this covid stuff and social distancing/isolating does not help any sense of sanity. I do hope you and your hubby and wee ones are well, and your brother and his family also... whatever it is you are dealing with, may God's healing hand guide you, His love sustain you, and His peace fill your mind and heart.

And now I am wondering about that Audrey panel I started in your honor... did I ever finish it?:unsure::giggle::geek:

I will have to check :D

No offence to my Aussie cousins...but Vegemite is..MMmmm well I'll just say an acquired taste :sick::sick::ROFL::LOL:

That's good your healing.. I'm sure it will be painful and uncomfortable. I'll keep you in my prayers Sis.(y).. I think I would pass out if I looked my own wound that deep.... It's funny I can look at the blood and wounds of others...But if I see my own - I definitely need to take a seat before my legs go lol:ROFL::LOL:

Thank you, and yeah, I don't really look at my wound, partly cuz, yep! I dunna wanna see it LOL But also it is positioned just slightly under the round of my belly and hard to see... though they takes pics occasionally and I have looked at them especially if they make some comment about something... the color of my skin around the wound, for instance (very reddish) and generally just the sensitivity of my skin and the constant irritation of adhesives, and accompanying sores, one day a pointy blister formed under the bandage LOL, but all those side issues clear up mostly fairly quickly :) Looking at the pix I cannot see the depth of the wound, either ;):D:giggle: Especially as the opening shrinks smaller and smaller... Still, it has been well over two months now, since surgery was May 18th! Mostly it is always covered with bandages ;)

I did look for and find the Audrey panel, which it seems I started, at least this current version of it (I remember a different Audrey panel ended up as something else LOL) in March, so much earlier this year. My surgery was less than 2 months later so it kind of got forgotten in the interim, partially because of the way I save my work... since photoshop documents do not display in the folder with an image, and is just a blank, unless I also save whatever I am working on (regardless of the stage it is at) as a png or jpg (I hardly ever save as jpgs, though, always pngs :D) I do not see it in the folder... that is, I may see something named 2021-03-24 for instance, but I have no idea what that is unless it is accompanied by a different file type, and/or unless I open it.

Long story short? I am now working on completing it :D I did get a bit hung up
also on finding the right hair for her but have moved on from that now too :D
