Psalm 19

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line[a] has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.

In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
6 Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer

My brother in Christ, I understand your struggle since my story is very similar to yours. I will tell you what helped me to get back to the narrow road, and in reality it is so narrow and I will explain why.

*First we must recognize, realize, and remember who God is:
-He is the all powerful, all knowing, Holy, True, forever loving, forever pure, forever just Creator, redeemer and savior of all humanity and creation.
-He has manifested Himself to us in all that He created and in His word.
-This same all powerful creator humbled Himself and gave Himself for us. He was humiliated so we would be glorified, He was beaten so we would be cherished by the Father. He was rejected so that we would be accepted into His kingdom. And no man can go to the Father but through Him.

But many people take Jesus as just a name to believe in to be saved. But He said He is also the WAY and the TRUTH, and we must live in His way and live in His truth so that we will have life everlasting. This is the God of the bible.

Now to follow this God and to confess to believe in Jesus Christ Means to die to one self, to die to sin in entirety.

1 John 1:6

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

So how can we walk in the light?

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We must no longer, like the verse says, be conformed to the things of this world, because having friendship with the world means to be the enemy of God. The way to be transformed is to live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God and to live in communion with Him in every day of your life, in every situation, in every decision, in every thought and every emotion.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The word inspiration in that verse literally means "God Breathed". It is written through men by the Holy Spirit. Therefore when you read the word of God you are feeding yourself with the words that come directly from the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:16-17

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Brother, lastly remember that God loves you and He chose you to believe in His son and created you and designed you to be made according to His image.

I will recommend to you that you start by reading first the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) but I will also recommend that you read the book of Romans, you will really grow spiritually through this book. Once you are done with those, read Ephesians and from there read as the Holy Spirit Leads you.

If you have any questions you can always message me and I will be more than glad to answer. God bless you and may He keep you in this walk that He's prepared for you. Our destiny and promise is to be with Him forever!

Dear Brother, once you have truely given your entire life to our Lord: admitting your sins to Him, asking forgiveness, asking Him to cast out all evil, negative, doubting spirits, ask Him to give you the gift of overwhelming faith ( a gift from God), ask Him to come in and take control of your life, in Jesus name, Amen.

Wake up each morning asking Jesus to lead you through the day. Go out and spend time with your Brothers and Sisters in Christ, they can be a great help to you. Speak to our Lord Jesus often. Read His word (the Bible) prayerfully a bit each day. Find a Christian home where you can experience the joy of The Holy Spirit with other believers. It may take visiting several churchs before you find a real home of God. There are many pretenders.

Keep in mind, salvation is a fact, not a feeling. Some people doubt that they are saved because they have yet to experience the gift of the joy of the Holy Spirit. Be faithful to Him, He will not disapoint you !!!

Also, when you are tempted, you might do what I do, close you eyes and ask Jesus to take the temptation from you. Remember, if you are a child of God, He has power over the universe, and He has given us the power through Him to overcome any form of temtation.

I pray that our Lord and Savior will lay His hands upon you right now, cast away all negative, doubting spirits, heal you completely, provide for you abundantly and assure you that He is with you always, in Jesus name, Amen.

Have a great week in Jesus
Love in Christ.
brother Gary

When I was your age, I was in a lot of mischief. It took me years to get out. Save yourself a tremendous amount of heartache and get out now.

As for the Bible, you might start at the beginning and read it clear through. If you are in a big hurry to learn things, you might read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John first, since these books contain the teachings of Jesus Christ as he walked the earth.

You are in my daily prayers in Jesus Christ is Lord for all streangth, comfort and the joy of Jesus.

God bless.
