Are you kidding? This is what I said: "We can't earn that righteousness, but we can certainly abandon our old ways for a new way of life in Jesus' righteousness. This is the transformation required to get into heaven." And you say this kind of "personal transformation" is not Salvation? You deny that "abandoning our old ways for a new way of life in Jesus' righteousness" is Salvation? I have to wonder what your idea of Salvation is?

And you deny this is "personal transformation?" Are you saying that having Christ in you does not change you at all? Without Christ we live in sin. Accepting Christ is accepting his righteousness into our lives!

Personal transformation, personal choice, and acting on that choice is part of our Salvation, because it is in this way that we demonstrate our faith in Christ. It is only Christ's atonement that acquits us, but it is our choice to repent of our sin and to adopt his righteousness that validates our receipt of Christ's Salvation.

Of course you have to "do this!" You yourself admit that we "receive this Salvation"--that is "doing" something. I never said we earn our own Salvation. But if we truly receive Salvation we prove that we have actually received it by putting Christ's righteousness into effect in our lives.

Apparently you didn't recognize that I was indeed speaking of the "New Birth?" The work of atonement belonged to Christ alone. The work of receiving Christ belongs to us. Both comprise Salvation--not our earning it, but our validating the choice we necessarily make to receive it.
“Are you saying that having Christ in you does not change you at all?”

I think he’s saying that’s the only way to change is to let Christ change you.

from reading the discussion I think you guys are basically on the same page but using different words to express it .

even in your words you are saying we have to let Christ into us in order to change. If that’s true , then whomis actually doing the work ?

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭

we can’t change ourself until we accept the gospel , the Holy Spirit comes from the gospel doctrine and works in us to change our Will through hearing the truth

so in other words we have to hear the truth about repentance before we will ever believe and enter into that place of Godly sorrow when we acknowledge our own sins and need for repentance.

I believe that the argument “ there’s nothing for us to do “ is from a lack of hearing and belief. We need to let God do his work in us forst tomchange our will from sin to repentance then we will begin walking in it. And doing the works meet for repentance like oil often spoke and taught to everyone

“But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭26:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we definately know how Christ treated sinners it isn’t like Moses did however this is how Jesus treats believing sinner

This woman was judged a sinner by Moses and the other men but Jesus is Christ

“And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,…

And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:37, 48-50‬ ‭

what works did this woman do ? She hears Jesus was near me came into a place she wasn’t welcome repenting over her life of sin she didn’t become holy in her deeds she forst was made right before God and I’m sure she followed the lord who saved her

“Are you saying that having Christ in you does not change you at all?”

I
He said a few times that the transformation is us doing "righteous works",....... as our "Partnership", with Jesus.

So, i pointed out that an unbeliever can do "righteous works"""" and so, what does that prove?

Then i pointed out that Salvation is not a "partnership", with The Cross.
He believes that Salvation is one part Jesus's Blood and One part you doing "righteous works".
So, i pointed out that Jesus dying on the Cross, eliminates the "boasting" of "partnership".

I think his base issue, theologically, is that He does not yet realize that Salvation, is not Discipleship.
Discipleship, just like water baptism, .. follows Salvation. It comes AFTER......the new Birth.

He is is teaching them as the same thing.......when in reality, God is our Salvation, and Jesus is our way there. John 14:6
That's not a partnership.....Thats a Savior who Died so that we can be SAVED.

Discipleship, or our "christian lifestyle", should reflect our SALVATION< but, can't be esteemed as the same thing.

Salvation is All of God, provided by the Cross and given as "the GIFT of Salvation".

Discipleship is how we behave, .......and real discipleship involves keeping's Jesus's words, and allowing God to live through us, His righteousness.

God does not call us into repentance, if we are born again.
He calls us into VICTORY.

God delivers us from sin.

If we are living in repentance, then we are living as confessing sin, repenting......
That is not Christianity, that is religion trying to do right to be accepted.
Salvation is to exist in the Grace of God, being made righteous.
We are to live here....>"The righteousness of God in Christ", as that is who we have become, as a Son of God and and Daughter of Christ.

There is a cult that teaches....."we are to live a life of repentance", and hopefully you are not a part of that one.
Your response to me, should inform us if you are........of that Cult.
God has always called mankind to repentance , Satan has always said “ no need for that don’t listen to God “

“There is a cult that teaches....."we are to live a life of repentance",

a cult led by Jesus ? So the only one who can give eternal Life says

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

why would he do that ?

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s silly to argue against repentance or rather it’s a “ subtle “ design sort of like

“don’t eat the fruit it’s deadly “

“ psssh nope the fruit is actually done and will Make you wise “

unless we come to repentance we’re lost that’s just the truth that Jesus made pretty clear from genesis forward. I don’t think that you understand all you think you understand , if a Christian is against repentance and walking in those works they are missing Gods grace that saves us

paul Summing up his doctrine

“But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭26:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You should look into this parable and let it sink in

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:23-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

here’s other account of it

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16:24-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

here’s the thing Christians are in denial about and why we try so hard to exclude our own selves from repentance

“Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:4-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and here is why it’s hard and why we have to accept the truth

“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭

we can say that we’re made new and everything but if we then reject the word that made us new we’re confused

I don’t expect you will read and consider these scriptures or thoughts but in the end if we’re arguing against the thkngs jesus taught us d the apostles confirmed we’re backwards and still in the snare

What do you think born again means ? Isn’t it about believing the gospel and getting baptized ? By HIS WORD that you are clearly rejecting
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:23, 25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so again what’s gods word say about repentance ? And if your rejecting it how have you been born again ?

I’m not sure you are aware but your arguing against what makes us new the only thing that can is to hear and believe the word of God not avoid it and pretend we’re born again by some other magical
Way

your attitude shows carnality which isn’t surprising given your born again apart from Gods word apparently how we’re you born again ?

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-15‬ ‭

are you positive you have an understanding of Gods grace ?

Or maybe someone offered you this other kind of grace not from God ? Because there are a lot of teachers of this grace were warned about when we reject the word

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Just saying something is Gods grace doesn’t mean it’s true Gods grace comes when we begin to believe Jesus gospel and hear Gods word

“It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the gospel is where Gods grave comes from when we believe and accept his word on faith the cross new can learn to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts

“grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”

while we wait for his return and begin to accept the zealousness toward the good works of the gospel being brotherly love and purity of heart and mind

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Isn't it interesting, that ive never met you, yet i knew you were of that religious denomination that teaches that born again Christians are supposed to live in a state of Repentance, all their Christian Life.
I told you that you would come and prove it.
And you did.
-----------------------------------------

Now, you said that Jesus calls sinners to ""repentance".............Yet, the born again, are not sinners.
The born again are this....

1.) Saints
2.) Son of God, ... Daughter of Christ
3. Blood Bought
4.) Redeemed by the blood of the lamb
5.) Temple of the Holy Spirit
6.) Brethren
7. One with God
8.) In Christ
9.) Heir of God
10. ) Joint Heir with Christ

Notice that "sinner" isn't on the List?
It can't be, as Born again believers, are not "sinners', ...they are...>>"the righteousness of God, in Christ".

They are Christians., "made righteous",....."One with God in Christ"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, ... to "call sinners to repentance' = is A sinner going to the Cross, to believe on Jesus to become Born again.
So, THAT is "repentance".......as this sinner , (unbeliever)....has heard the Gospel, and believed in Jesus......which is to REPENT from Unbelief.
There is your "repentance" found, that establishes you in FAITH, that God accepts, to do this...."faith is counted as Righteousness".
"Justification BY Faith".

So, what you are teaching, is the cult teaching that a Christian is a SINNER, that needs to keep repenting, as a lifestyle.
And that is a cult teaching, that is not in agreement with what it means to become BORN AGAIN.

A Christian, is not to live a life of Repenting or Repentance.........they are to live a life as this.....""Christ always gives me the Victory".

are you positive ?

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:5-10‬ ‭

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬

we don’t have to be “ sinless “ we do have to acknowledge our sins , confess them to the lord , and turn away from what we have done that has grieved our new spirit and heart . If we don’t acknowledge our sins we’re lying to ourselves and God and if we teach people not to Acknowledge thier sins and repent we’re also lying to them and leading them to destruction

it hurts sometimes when you are found to be a sinner and thought you had overcome ready but I’m finding that Gods design , is to take us from faith , to faith and from Glory to glory

one man is an infant in Christ his doctrine is fitting another is a young man in Christ md his doctrine is fitting another is a grown man d his doctrine weighs more and fits his he and stature

my point is repentance isn’t a one off thing , we can only repent of what we know we are doing wrong , so as we learn more of the gospel more is brought into the light d then we have another step of faith to make

at times we have peace and at times we have anguish but that’s what is going to teach us to walk upright knowing even if we have sinned , we’re not lost we just have to find repentance and it’s readily available d the end glory is worth everything we’ve lost in Christ being the world we loved in the beginning

I notice you can’t find any coherent scripture to support your circles but how about John ? Can you agree he probably understood Christianity better than you ?

try gathering up some of Jesus words and keeping them in you I’m not sure what standards your using for your doctrine here but it’s not at all biblical this is why you think you have nothing to repent of

“his word is not in us.”

in other words is this a good description of your behavior ?

“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:27-30, 35-38‬ ‭

if any Christian will learn Jesus word then well Find repentance but of course probably “ born again people don’t need that huh ?

“If we are living in repentance, then we are living as confessing sin, repenting......
That is not Christianity,”
are you positive ?
Absolutely.
Thats the devils's gospel you are teaching. As its the devil who wants a believe to think that they are supposed to Sin., so that they can confess and repent, as you just described is "Christianity".
That's a false Gospel,.....its this.... Galatians 1:8

See, if a person is sinning and confessing, they are doing this because they dont understand the Grace of God.
Now look at the verse that all heretics cling to as their God.

1st John 1:9.

It says..>"we".......and the heretic does not understand that Paul, and John, do not have sin.
John is not preaching and teaching about sin, while having sin.
In fact, if you have sin, you are not born again, as you can't have SIN and go to HEAVEN.
Your church didnt teach you that.....i noticed, but they are sure to talk to you about water.
A heretic will never understand this......

So, when you read that John says this.... 1 John 3:9....>""9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot SIN, because he is born of God""""

When the heretic reads that the same apostle who wrote "if we say we have no sin"......later wrote....>"whoever is born of God cannot sin"....the heretic then has a real problem.
You now have it.

Here is where it started for you
Your Church, or some liar's commentary, taught you.

You even have all these same cut and paste verses ready to go, as you argue your heresy, often.

Now let me help you..

Here is what you have to understand........ The Apostles were preachers. And they sometimes preached to the lost, in the NT.
So, when John is talking to believers, you read......"you cannot sin".
When John is talking to the unsaved, he says....>"the truth is not in you", ...

John knows that Jesus is "the Truth".....and He is IN every born again believer......So, when John tells YOU that the truth is not in YOU, that means that Jesus is not in you......= You are not born again.

Just remember that John and Paul and Jude and the others are not always talking to the Body of Christ in the verse.
Sometimes they are talking to the LOST., and you have to know the New Testament very well, to know the difference.
You dont yet.

If we say that we have no sin,
As i told you in the last post.

If you ""have sin"", then Jesus does not have your sin, and you are not born again.

The born again do not have sin.
They have "the righteousness of God"...

9 """""Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God"""""

Have you ever read of David ? And do you understand his significance in the new covenant ?

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3-4, 6-

because Gods ways are higher he sent Jesus to teach us his ways and all that’s required is to abandon our sin and wicked thoughts me hear the lord that’s the everlasting covenant

but hearing the gospel is light and light exposes sin so David his life is often misunderstood David was a sinner he committed adultery a sin of death under the law he also ordered a
Mans death to cover his own adultery , he also sinned in other various ways David is a very important figure as you already see the new covenant is based on his mercy that he received of you read David’s psalms you will find a man I is often praising the lord but also often is acknowledging his sins to God and in David we can begin to understand what repentance is

So you can see again here in a psalm of David after he he’s went and committed adultery how it applies and where the grace is ignited from

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51:1-7, 9

another thing noticeable sin this

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David often wrote psalms like this other good one shows us the torment of hiding our sins and freedom when we acknowledge them to the good lord

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

confession of and repentance of sin when we become aware of it is needful for it to be purged from us by Christs blood David is a good place to go learn about the gospel being this message until the end

“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-47‬ ‭

repentance and remission of sins for all nations is salvstion on Christ we’re saved by Jesus , changed by Jesus and made right by Jesus and made able by Jesus so we can repent and walk upright and be saved

You dont yet.
lol wow you are just a straight accuser huh ? so johns words are the devils gospel you really are misguided friend I guess some Christians know better than scripture and will go as far as labeling scripture the devils gospel lol because that’s how far people go to avoid repentance this is why if your interested

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Sad to walk in darkness but it seems pleasant at the time it allows us to go on living our own desires and pretending Gods word isn’t true but our thinking is ive lost interest because you have strayed really far from anything I’m interested in

thanks for the time though

Were you up on the Cross?
The day that happens, then you can give yourself credit for a "partnership" with God's Son.
Till then, only :Give God ALL the Credit for Salvation that is due Him.

Your BOAST of "partnership" need not apply.
I'm starting to think you're a bit thick? I'm done with you for now. You can't comprehend a single thing I'm saying.

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Have you ever heard of the Cross of Christ that is given as the New Covenant?
If so, try not to overlay the old Covenant, that is discontinued and where David is found, : over the New Testament, to try to prove you can lose your salvation.

See, the reason you are ranting and raving about confessing sin, is because you believe you can lose your salvation.
This is the #1 proof that heretics use to define themselves.
How do i know? Because i know you now, based on your posts......I know your theology, and your belief system.

Listen carefully......when you believe you can lose your salvation, then that is the evidence that you are not trusting in Christ to keep you saved.
This is why you live as a sinning and confessing "type",............as this is how you believe you keep yourself saved.
And that theology that you teach, that is sinning and confessing, that you told us is real Christianity....., is Christ rejection.
See, you cant at the same time try to keep yourself from losing your salvation, and Trust in Christ.
So, your faith is broken, and that is why you are so excited to keep posting about repenting and confessing, as to you, that is your savior.
You are here praising your Savior......and that is YOU........You are trying to stay saved by "confessing"., instead of trusting in Christ alone to keep you saved.

And im glad you just keep going, out of control.... as its people like you that help others see the light and understand what is error and what is truth.
Fella, the best way i can teach Truth is to use someone like you to draw the distinction between truth and error.
See, when people like you live on forums, to try to teach that believers can lose their salvation, then the real believers can learn from me, what to understand about you, and your denomination......and avoid it .
This helps them to grow deeper OUT of any type of self righteousness that you are teaching as your false gospel, with the added benefit of them being able to learn how to recognize your type.
So, you are useful for that application, and not just you.
There are quite a few like you on this forum, and on all "christian" forums.....and this helps God to show the real believers how to recognize heresy.

Let me show you something about heretics.

1. They live in the OLD Testament, and twist verses in the New Testament, using the Old.
2. Matthew, James, and Hebrews, are where Heretics got lost.
3. The God of the Heretic, one of them, is 1 John 1:9, and that is because the heretic is trying to keep themselves saved , by confessing their sin.
This is their Salvation, as they have no real affiliation with the Blood of Jesus that is actually what God provides as The Blood Atonement.

Now, in the Old Testament, you have no Christ on the Cross, so, there is no blood atonement being given that is a ""one time eternal sacrifice."""
So, when you read of the "Holy Spirit" in the OT< this is not the same condition as having "Christ in you", in the New Testament.
You should tell that to your Pastor and to the person who wrote the commentary that you iive in.
David was not "born again", so, Christ was not spiritually joined to David, as you find the Holy Spirit in union with the Spirit of all who are become "new Creations" in Christ.

Not at all.
I was just showing you that you dont know how to rightly divide the word.. you only know how to cut and paste your one true rant.
I know how to rightly divide the NT.
Im not new to New Testament exegesis.

You could do this.... Pilgrimshope
Look up......"Pauline Theology"., and go study it.
Once you learn what that means and what that teaches, then you'll recognize what i Teach, instantly.
As that is all a real NT teacher, is going to teach the believers and non.

Move on though to people
