True, SKT, girls taking the Lord's name in vain is not a 'gag,' thing, just a turn off. Just mom's spaghetti with anchovies qualifies as my gag . No offense to you mom if your listening. :D

I love water chestnuts, they're juicy and (sorta) crunchy and can't be bad for you b/c they are vegetables right? :)

Makes sense to me, as far as 'gagging' goes. Wanna gag, go eat some dirt. Wanna gag, go eat some water chestnuts, per julieannie.
Myself speaking, plain by themself water chestnuts taste a lot like nothing good (like dirt), however I like water chestnuts in my fave Chinese dishes like chow mein and chicken curry :)
