No, "nobody has UNDERSTOOD the father at any time but the son of god has declare him."

MANY people have seen Father.
New International Version
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

New Living Translation
No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

English Standard Version
No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

Berean Study Bible
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.

Berean Literal Bible
No one has ever yet seen God. The only begotten God, the One being in the bosom of the Father, He has made Him known.

King James Bible
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

New King James Version
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

New American Standard Bible
No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.

You have ONE verse which is being misunderstood while I understand that verse plus have MANY verses showing God has been seen:

Clarke:

It is likely that the word seen, here, is put for known, as in Joh_3:32; 1Jo_3:2, 1Jo_3:6, and 3Jo_1:11; and this sense the latter clause of the verse seems to require: - No man, how highly soever favored, hath fully known God, at any time, in any nation or age; the only begotten Son

Many people have seen God:

Gen 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Gen 32:25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
Gen 32:26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
Gen 32:27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Gen 32:29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
Gen 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Here Jacob not only wrestles with God physically, he also was allowed to see His face and live.

1 Kings 22:19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

Here he did see God on the throne.

Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
Exo 33:21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
Exo 33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
Exo 33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Here we see that he does have a face, has a hand, and has "back parts" of a body. Moses was not allowed to see his face, but he saw his hand and saw his "back parts".

Exo 24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
Exo 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Exo 24:11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

Isa 6:5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!”

People love to misunderstand one verse and will ignore multiple verses prove their understanding to be wrong. That's how much people love their own false doctrines.

Exo 33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Does it say "thou shalt not see"??

Jesus said no one has seen the father.

No, he didn't say that plus bible says God has been seen many times as I have already proven.

Again I ask:

Exo 33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Does it say "thou shalt not see"??

i not saying people have not seen god.i'm saying people have not seen nor heard the father at any time

He was talking to certain people in those verses. He did not say no one had never heard voice of the Father nor saw his shape. Moses heard him and saw his shape. HE only was not allowed to see His face.

From what I have read, it seems like Abraham, Jacob and Moses did not see God, but saw a palatable image of God as revealed by His Son, in whatever form He chose at the time. Only the Son as God has seen God. The human being or creature, even angels, only ever see the image of God as expressed in the Son.
By laying aside His power, the Son made it possible for the creation to exist, and for creatures to be able to relate to God through Himself.
I would think that the Divine and the creation are otherwise incompatible, due to the nature of the shear difference between the infinite and the finite.
I believe the rejection at the cross was real, because the Son became human in the fullest sense, and more than that, He became sin for us, and that may explain why He was rejected on the cross. The whole scene is extremely deep, and cannot be viewed as a play act.

Sequel yes to that i found myself ticking each sentence as i was reading as it accords with many things i've read! as well also the Holy Spirit the gift of God was given through the cross. It's not just a taking away (sin) but a gift as it is for us. I tend to avoid thinking too much of it as rejection to steer clear of the errors of word of faith doctrine (Jesus is sent to hell and punished there etc. and its unwholesome nonsense) but i understand the language, no one word can really express it

I read this today about an hour ago and felt to share

The bottom line is simple: our hearts yearn for Jesus. We are among the Galilean crowds who “got into boats and went to Capernaum in search of Jesus” (John 6:24). We are one of the Greeks who said to a disciple, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus” (John 12:21). We are Nicodemus as he sought Jesus at night (John 3:2) and Zacchaeus as he climbed a tree to see the Savior (Luke 19:4).

More books have been written about Jesus than about any other figure in history. More people have committed their lives to him than to any other religious leader. More people attend church services in America than go to football games. We were designed for the kind of intimacy with God that our first parents knew in the Garden, so our hearts will always yearn for him. Our longings to be loved, accepted, and wanted all stem from this fact. Our world is broken, not because our longings are wrong, but because we try to satisfy them everywhere but in God.

Read Today’s First 15

Here’s a good way to start the week: give yourself the gift of a few minutes with the One who loves you. Begin with a moment of worship, as you “enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise” (Psalm 100:4). Now ask the Spirit to show you a longing in your heart that you are trying to satisfy outside of Jesus. Name it, and ask Jesus to meet it. Now do whatever you sense his leading to do—be still, read Scripture, take a walk, listen to worship music. Let the Great Physician heal that pain in your heart. Ask the One who fed the 5,000 to feed your soul.

And he will.

Jesus of Nazareth is The LORD!
