I hope you never have children Ramon... for their sake.
Young man, you may regret that attitude in about 60 years when you stand before your Maker to be judged. And for those people who say that children "need" to experience the world in order to withstand it, the truth is that the world has nothing to offer Christians. James 4, verses 4 and 5, says "You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us?"
Ramon may be a little over the top, but his premise is absolutely correct. And whatever it takes for parents to "train up" their children is perfectly acceptable. I believe that this is one area where the ends do justify the means.
PS: I, myself, have two adult daughters that I wish I had trained up better, so this not just some "holier than thou" rant.
