No reason to be sorry but someone suggested you study more d your response was to deflect and then you redefined the world repentance based on your thoughts was all
I was saying

when we study we need to do it humbly knowing we don’t know already and can learn to correct our thoughts and let them line up with scripture

that's fine

but you cannot tell believers what to think or believe if you do not know yourself

if you would like to accept Christ, I am sure that a moderator would be able to speak with you about that and you can decide

I don't care about yin ad yang being concepts, I am telling you if there is a Holy Spirit there has to be an UNHOLY SPIRIT. It is thus the opposite of God, what is the opposite of God? Evil, of course, thus just like God is an Eternal Spirit so is Evil. That is the Anti-Christ Spirit Paul said was in the world even as he spoke, well what was he speaking about good sir? Not the Anti-Chrisy of course, not Satan, of course, but the Spirit which temped Satan, rebellion against God. 9 have been a preacher 35 years and I only got this 5 or so years ago, so don't sweat it, brother. It not yin and yang per se, that is an eastern philosophical concept. This is God being holy and ANYTHING THAT OPPOSES Him being evil. No one hearkened unto this voice to Sata did, but it was always there, whether men can understand that concept is a different story. Look, if there is Eternal Righteousness then there is Eternal Evil, and that is ANYTHING THAT OPPOSES God. It will reside in hell forever. That's a fact. Is the opposite of God not ETERNAL? It has to be, thus its eternal evil. I started picking up on this via Paul's Anti-christ spirit, since the Anti-Christ was yet to come, what spirit was Paul talking about? Its not Satan, else Paul would have stated that it's a SPIRIT that is AGAINST GOD !!

Sorry for the late reply but just saw this post. You want to say that there has to be an equal but opposing spirit to God. Well that puts you in interesting company. For one we have the dualistic system of Zarathustra, which divided the one nature of the Deity into two opposing powers and then we have Marcion that appealed to this passage as a proof that the God of the Old Testament was a different being from the God of the New, and not the God of goodness only. The Valentinians and other gnostics also regarded these words as justification for their heretical views. So all in all I would say that when you hold to your views you are walking into heresy.

I see most of the arguments being posted as superficial responses to a very legitimate question. The question posed on this thread: Did God create Sin?

Anyone who has done a lot of studying, in the Scriptures, is probably aware of this age old question. I don't believe anyone, since the beginning of the Church age, has ever been able to answer it fully. The Apostles never discussed it in their writings. So little is known on this subject. However, Scripture does clearly say, that God creates all things. In Isaiah, God first revealed who He was and is:

Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Isa 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

Next the Lord establishes Himself as Creator of all things. If you are a KJV worshiper, you are in trouble here:

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The better translation of the Hebrew word, (highlighted in red) would be - calamity.
Then, as if the Lord anticipated a negative reaction from the reader, He said:

Isa 45:9 Woe unto him that is striving with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that is fashioning it, What are you making? or thy work, He hath no hands?

This is just one of many passages about God creating or making. So did God create sin?

To answer this, as best as I can, one must understand that there are two sides to God's will or Decree. There is the direct and active aspect, then there is a permissive aspect. When God created the heavens and the earth, this was His active decree. He actively created the light and darkness and all of the earth. He actively created man and made him upright.

But when it comes to the subject of sin, one cannot say God actively created sin. God, who is perfectly Holy, who cannot look upon sin, cannot be the creator of sin. This leaves us with an age old dilemma. If God, rules over all things and things happen by His will - which He does and they are - how did sin enter creation? The only viable answer is: By God's permissive decree. God knew that sin was going to enter creation and by His permissive decree, He allowed it. This is the only viable conclusion.

The much tougher part is this: 1) How did sin originate? 2) Why did God permit it's existence?

I don't care about other religions because they are serving Demons, who also know, OG COURSE, that there is Evil and Good. Thus who tempted Satan to Rebel? An evil spirit, just like the Holy Spirit is holy. What is the opposite of a Holy God? And Unholy spirit/entity. Thus its anti- God thus to rebel against God is anti-God in spirit. Thus anything not of God is anti-God. So, just because you can't grasp it doesn't;t mean Paul and others didn't understand that, no one cares that the other religions also FAKE the Death and Resurrection of Jesus before he ever came because Satan knew this would happen via the bible. That is why we get all these false gods that always have a son who dies and goes to be with the father.

We see this with Adonis, Horus, Tammuz, Attis. And of course, Nimrod and Semiramis, after Nimrod died his son was supposed to have been sacrificed and went to the gods via the sun's rays, etc., etc. Satan faked all of these false resurrections to try and discredit Jesus when he came, thus he could say they copied myths.

So, I don't really care about other religions, I only care about facts, whatever is not of God Almighty, this is anti-God in Spirit, and thus if there has always been a Holy Spirit, then there has to have been an evil Spirit, if not you can't juxtapose the Holy Spirit against anything, maybe that's just over you head brother.

You have a very strange view of theology. What you are putting foreword has zero bases in scripture. I can see that in your mind anyone that disagrees with you just does not understand the truth. You come across as someone in very serious need of help to understand scripture but you will never ask for it. Your pride has been your downfall.

“And the Lord repented of the evil .[God the Father]is not the son of man = Jesus that he repents
Exodus 32:14

Easy-to-Read Version

14 So the Lord felt sorry for the people. He did not do what he said he might do—he did not destroy them.

Exodus 32

Easy-to-Read Version

The Golden Calf
32 The people saw that a long time had passed and Moses had not come down from the mountain. So they gathered around Aaron. They said to him, “Look, Moses led us out of the land of Egypt, but we don’t know what has happened to him. So make us some gods to go before us and lead us.”
2 Aaron said to the people, “Bring me the gold earrings that belong to your wives, sons, and daughters.”
3 So the people collected all their gold earrings and brought them to Aaron. 4 He took the gold from the people and used it to make an idol. Using a special tool, he shaped the gold into a statue of a calf.
Then the people said, “Israel, here are your gods! These are the gods that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”[a]
5 Aaron saw all these things, so he built an altar in front of the calf. Then Aaron made an announcement. He said, “Tomorrow will be a special festival to honor the Lord.”
6 The people woke up very early the next morning. They killed animals and offered them as burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. They sat down to eat and drink. Then they got up and had a wild party.
7 At the same time, the Lord said to Moses, “Go down from this mountain. Your people, the people you brought out of the land of Egypt, have committed a terrible sin. 8 They have very quickly turned away from what I commanded them to do. They made a calf from melted gold for themselves. They are worshiping that calf and making sacrifices to it. The people have said, ‘Israel, these are the gods that led you out of Egypt.’”
9 The Lord said to Moses, “I have seen these people, and I know that they are very stubborn. They will always turn against me. 10 So now let me destroy them in anger. Then I will make a great nation from you.”
11 But Moses begged the Lord his God, “Lord, don’t let your anger destroy your people. You brought them out of Egypt with your great power and strength. 12 But if you destroy your people, the Egyptians will say, ‘God planned to do bad things to his people. That is why he led them out of Egypt. He wanted to kill them in the mountains. He wanted to wipe them off the earth.’ So don’t be angry with your people. Please change your mind! Don’t destroy them. 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. These men served you, and you used your name to make a promise to them. You said, ‘I will make your people as many as the stars in the sky. I will give your people all this land as I promised. This land will be theirs forever.’”
14 So the Lord felt sorry for the people. He did not do what he said he might do—he did not destroy them.
15 Then Moses went down the mountain. He had the two stone tablets with the agreement on them. The commandments were written on both sides of the stone, front and back. 16 God himself made the stones, and God himself wrote the commandments on them.
17 Joshua heard the noise from the party in camp. He said to Moses, “It sounds like war down in the camp!”
18 Moses answered, “It is not the noise of an army shouting for victory. And it is not the noise of an army crying from defeat. The noise I hear is the sound of music.[b]”
19 When Moses came near the camp, he saw the golden calf and the people dancing. He became very angry, and he threw the stone tablets on the ground. The stones broke into several pieces at the bottom of the mountain. 20 Then Moses destroyed the calf that the people had made. He melted it in the fire. Then he ground the gold until it became dust and threw it into the water. Then he forced the Israelites to drink that water.
21 Moses said to Aaron, “What did these people do to you that would make you do this? Why did you lead them to do such a terrible sin?”
22 Aaron answered, “Don’t be angry, sir. You know that these people are always ready to do wrong. 23 The people said to me, ‘Moses led us out of Egypt, but we don’t know what has happened to him. So make us some gods to lead us.’ 24 So I told the people, ‘If you have any gold rings, then give them to me.’ The people gave me their gold. I threw the gold into the fire, and out of the fire came this calf!”
25 Moses saw that Aaron had let the people get out of control. They were being wild, and all their enemies could see them acting like fools. 26 So Moses stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Anyone who wants to follow the Lord should come to me.” Everyone from the tribe of Levi ran to Moses.
27 Then Moses said to them, “I will tell you what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Every man must get his sword and go from one end of the camp to the other. You men must kill those who are against the Lord, even if they are your brothers, friends, or neighbors.’”
28 The people from the tribe of Levi obeyed Moses. That day about 3000 of the people died. 29 Then Moses said, “Take your role today as special servants of the Lord because you were willing to fight against even your own sons and brothers. You will receive a blessing for this.”[c]
30 The next morning Moses told the people, “You have committed a terrible sin! But now I will go up to the Lord, and maybe I can do something so that he will forgive you for your sin.” 31 So Moses went back to the Lord and said, “Please listen! These people committed a terrible sin and made a god from gold. 32 Now, forgive them of this sin. If you will not forgive them, then erase my name from your book.[d]”
33 But the Lord said to Moses, “The only people I erase from my book are those who sin against me. 34 So now, go down and lead the people where I tell you to go. My angel will go before you and lead you. When the time comes to punish those who sinned, they will be punished.” 35 So the Lord caused a terrible sickness to come to the people. He did this because they told Aaron to make the golden calf.
Footnotes
  1. Exodus 32:4 Israel … Egypt This shows that the people worshiped the calf as a special symbol for the Lord, and even this was forbidden. See 1 Kings 12:26-30.
  2. Exodus 32:18 music Or “singing.”
  3. Exodus 32:29 Take your role … blessing for this This seems to be the point when the priesthood changed. Before this time, the priests came from the firstborn sons; after this time, they came from the sons of Aaron of the tribe of Levi.
  4. Exodus 32:32 your book The book of life, in which God has written the names of his chosen people. See Rev. 3:5; 21:27.
