No, context is not everything and that leads to more error. Context is not the Holy Spirit and not Word is not limited to context.

Scripture was written for all who would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ - Read John 17 and Believe His Word.

Those verses (addressed from and to specific people in specific times and places) are just as inspired as the rest of the text. Context gives us the proper framework and hermeneutic with which to understand scripture. Without it, we may make it say whatever we want it to say. The Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the addresses, which give us the context.

You're right, the Word is not limited to context. The context is PART OF the WORD, and therefore part of the TRUTH.

Yes, I agree that the Word was written FOR us all, including you and me. But, not that it was written TO us all. There is a difference, and it is important.

I've read it myself, here; 1 Corinth 15:13 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith.…

Rev 20:4-6
4Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image, and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years were complete. This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.…

We both agree with each other - i thought you said that the First Resurrection of 1 Thess 4 nd Revelation 20 has already occurred.

The this is for you:
But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.

Why are you here and what are you attempting to prove, since the First Resurrection has not yet occurred and will not occur until the Lord Jesus Christ Returns at His Second Coming.

I am not a Christian based upon my beliefs on the second coming. I'm a Christian based upon the fact that God has forgiven my sin due to Jesus' finished work.

I am not a believer in a yet future second coming (in our current time) because careful, contextual, and exegetical study of the Bible reveals this premise to be false. What Paul spoke about Hymenaeus and Philetus at the time was 100% true, but we are not living in the same age as they were. Again, exegetical study of the Bible reveals this.

In your view, there is no Second Coming of Christ?

My mistake. @JonMaxwell said Jesus is not coming back.
If he doesn't, then besides my children, Life would have been waste of time and food.

There is (was). It was spoken of in the OT law and prophets, and by Jesus Himself and the NT writers. To say otherwise would be a denial of the truth of scripture. But it occurred simultaneously with the ending of the age and the resurrection.

Blasphemy. God will never yell. God has a voiceless voice. You do for you. Change your ways. Stop with the Jesus idolitary, seems a bit harlot. Jesus points you to god. The teachings are back in the old one, Jesus tells us how to act them out. Do not conflate. And it is not Jesus coming back, it is another Messiah representing God this time. Jesus did his job 2 000 years ago. God sends another this time, another name, or you would not recognize him. The return is the return of God. It is not very complicated if you have read the book, or is a novice who read 35% of the book as me. I like verses in thessalonians, never read the entire book yet. Verses seem very good.
I dont understand that Jesus wont be coming back but another Messiah. Please let me know where it speaks of another Messiah. Thank you
Matt 24:25,26,27. "Behold, I have told you before. 26. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, behold He is in the desert; do not go forth: behold, He is in the secret chambers: behold believe it not 27. For as the lighting shall come out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; So shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

Why would life have been a waste if He doesn't come back in a physical body?

If you have salvation and eternal life, it's not a waste. Jesus had to physically come and give His physical life as a sacrifice for sin. Physical life is simply a part of the picture.

The ending of the this age has not yet occured and will not until satan is locked up at the Second Coming of the Lord.

Your are in error with your false christ called 'context' which leads you to believe that there is no Second Coming of Christ because this has supposedly occurred already which is a complete lie.

Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

Adding to and taking away from Scripture is sin - depart from it.

I never said there is no second coming of Christ; I said I believe it, just that it's already happened. The Bible is clear; the Christian age has NO END. The end of the age was in ad 70. Again, honest Biblical study will confirm this. You offer zero clarification, context, or parallel, informing or supporting scripture for how 2 Timothy 2:18 could possibly apply to us today.

Context, again, is part of scripture, and therefore part of the truth. The Word is the Truth.

You are 100% out of Scriptural Prophetic Truth Context.

Whoever taught you that the Second Coming of Christ has already occurred is in serious error and you need to run to the Lord for help.
Get with Truthful Believers who know Him and have the Holy Spirit, who do not worship men and do not 'add to or take away' from Scripture.

Scripture cannot lie - the Lord has not yet Returned for the First Resurrection of His Bride as we are currently instructed,
by the word of God in 1 Thessalonians , 2 Thessalonians , 1 John, the Gospels of John, Matthew, Mark and Luke and the Revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You are placing context before the words of our Lord and His Apostles - this is error and a form of idolatry.

The deception you are under is, as you said yourself, that the Second Coming of Christ and the completed Resurrection of His Church/His Saints including us today has already occurred and is past tense.

"When He comes AT THE RESURRECTION/RAPTURE..."

This has nothing to do with the Second Coming of Christ to earth WITH all His saints and angels from Heaven.
Dear Brother Nehemiah, you are loved in Christ and i love you in Christ as well.

This is for you my friend - dwell on this and see that it is our Lord's Desire pertaining to us from Eternity to His Second Coming and for all Eternity.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ,
both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. =
Revelation 19 & 20
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. Ephesians ch 1

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. = Revelation 19 & 20
