What did our LORD say that was LITERAL TRUTH = The Kingdom of Heaven is like - Matt 25:1

What else did our LORD say again = The Kingdom of Heaven is like Matt 25:14
The text of Scripture (where you've bolded) actually says, "the kingdom OF THE heavenS".

This is not referencing "Heaven"...

... and has nothing to do with the event which takes us ("the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY") "IN THE AIR".

In EVERY text where this phrase "the kingdom OF THE heavenS" is mentioned, it always refers to that which pertains to "the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom age" (promised to Israel).

Are you thinking it refers to "UP IN Heaven"??

No dear brother, our LORD Jesus is the KINGDOM of Heaven and His Kingdom dwells in all who are His and have the HOLY SPIRIT.
And this is the Mystery of the Ten Virgins = ONLY 5 were FILLED with the Kingdom of Heaven.

No go back and review what the LORD JESUS CHRIST said and do not add to His words.
*** IMPORTANT *** - He did NOT say that the Bride of Christ has been raptured.
*** IMPORTANT *** He did NOT say that the Bride of Christ must be raptured for the parable of the Ten Virgins.
Why do you feel compelled to INSERT a Subject which Jesus was not covering in His Olivet Discourse?

Why do you feel compelled to INSERT a Subject which Jesus was not covering in His Olivet Discourse?
Our Lord Jeuss Christ expressed to His Bride His Second Coming is in Matthew 24 and 25.
He was no longer speaking the Jews who rejected Him - they were left homeless by their own choice.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Matt 23:37-39

INSERT the undefiled Word of God into your heart and follow after Christ - not man-made teachings.

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD:
but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

do you the think this that happened in 67-69 ad

“Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel. Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭5:2, 4-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

is what Jesus was talking about here ?

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:21‬ ‭KJV

and is referring to the destruction of Jerusalem and slaughter of the early church by Rome? And would be what kindled the ongoing tribulations through the world even until today and when they are finished he will return ? Just a thought
Hi there… I think what we read here in Ezekiel is all prophetic. Remember in Daniel 12:9; "And he said, 'Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." So we see that all the prophecies of the "time of the end" were not to be understood until a particular time. Jesus let us know when that time was to start in Matthew 24:34; "Verily I way unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." We are in the end times, and so in the end times, it is all to be understood by those who study God's word.

Would you like to discuss each of those verses you listed in Ezekiel? We could if you want. :)

Yes it’s definately a prophecy , but I look more at the whole of a prophecy and what it’s saying is sort of repeated from the law

( if they would t obey the law )

“And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭26:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

he then warned them again and again through the prophets and we’re seeing in Ezekiel when thier time was running out and it was going to come to pass

when Jesus was saying this he is referring to the siege and destruction of Jerusalem and its temple which left the land desolate ( no temple meant no place for Gods glory to dwell in Jerusalem )

“And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I would love to discuss with you , but I find that when we interpret each verse to carry its own message we sort of
Miss the message that the whole prophecy conveys.

It sort of explains itself but. Egan to be promised in the law and spoken through the prophets until we get to Ezekiel the. Jesus came and they crucified him and brought it to pass

“And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts. Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; Therefore thus saith the Lord God;

Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, ( this happened during the siege of Jerusalem ) and the sons shall eat their fathers;

and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. ( dispersion after Jerusalem’s destruction )

Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the Lord have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭5:1-13‬ ‭

it’s sort of just what the law and prophets had always been saying of Israel didn’t repent and return he was going to leave then desolate and scatter a remnant out into the nations of the earth the curse would follow and so would salvstion carrying the gospel with them

but that’s sort of how I look at prophecy I think when we take each verse and interpret it we lose what the prophecy is saying

Our Lord Jeuss Christ expressed to His Bride His Second Coming is in Matthew 24 and 25.
Despite the fact that "the BRIDE" is mentioned NOWHERE in these various texts.

Despite the fact that "the Bride / Wife [SINGULAR]" is being CLEARLY DISTINGUISHED from "those [plural] INVITED" ['having been invited'] "GUESTS [PLURAL]" to "the wedding FEAST / SUPPER" (i.e. the earthly MK age), in Rev19:7 and 19:9. [same "wedding FEAST / SUPPER referenced in Matt25:10 and context! (and elsewhere in the gospels)]

Believe as you wish, DT.

Where did I ever say that He (in His Olivet Discourse, esp. Matt24) is speaking to the JEWS WHO REJECTED HIM?!?! I never said that.

I've repeatedly stated that the "YE / YOU / YOUR" in Matthew 24 is a "proleptic 'you'" (referring [basically] to 'ALL THOSE in the future, OF THE SAME CATEGORY") and a "consistent 'you'"... so here, IN THIS CONTEXT, refers to "those TO WHOM the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom WAS PROMISED" (i.e. the BELIEVING remnant of Israel... not those of them who REJECT HIM!)

Note their Q of Him in Acts 1:6, which, NOTE, they are STILL ASKING HIM even after having just spent some "40 days" in His [POST-RESURRECTION] PRESENCE, of Him speaking to them about that very Subject, v.3 (they just dis not understand its TIMING, which was THEIR QUESTION / was WHAT THEY WERE ASKING... Jesus did not "correct" their understanding of the NATURE of it... He actually addresses their ACTUAL QUESTION, which had to do with its "TIMING" [not its NATURE--"restore again the kingdom TO ISRAEL"--which they understood CORRECTLY!])

the bride of Christ is the heavenly city of Jerusalem

“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,”

In my post, I was referencing the passages where the parables are speaking of "the wedding FEAST / SUPPER" specifically (or even in His Olivet Discourse in its entirely, where, for example, Matt24:42-51 is PARALLEL to Lk12:36-37,38,40,42-44 "when he will RETURN FROM the wedding"... THEN "the meal [G347; used also in other verses, such as Matt8:11 and parallel--speaking of the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom age, there]").

Hope that helps clarify what I was referencing specifically.

[it is "the wedding FEAST / SUPPER" and "the MEAL [G347]" which is EARTHLY LOCATED, and commencing upon His "RETURN" there (Rev19)--i.e. the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom (DISTINCT FROM "the MARRIAGE" itself)]

sort of has always been in prophecy

And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭12:14-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭14:15‬ ‭

“They have belied the Lord, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭5:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What happened to them followed them when they were scattered into the earth ( the four horsemen of the four seals )

“For thus saith the Lord God; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭14:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it would pursue the remnant into all the world

“And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But thankfully a remnant of Israel who accepted the messiah would carry the blessing into the earth for all nations after they crucified him and began the curse

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

yes wasn’t meant for conflict , I was just saying the church isnt the bride of Christ , the new Jerusalem In heaven is and the church are the people who inhabit that City

“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

Wrong. The day of Lord's wrath comes after the great Trib has ended. That's the day of the second coming which is literally a day. The great trib is 42 months not a day.

Great Trib = satan's wrath for 42 months.
Day of the Lord = One day not months and it is God's wrath for what was done in tribulation against Christians.

There is no excuse for getting these things confused.
So, you are saying that what happens in Revelation 8:7 to 9:21 is satan's doing and not God's?

Why??? - is it not for your idol's sake you say such falsehood.

In Matthew 24: 3 The Bride of Christ came to the Bridegroom/our Lord Jesus Christ and asked Him a question which He answered Her.

The Bridegroom gave clear understanding to His Bride - "Take heed no one deceive you"
He told His Bride that they would be hated and persecuted for His Name sake.
He told Her to stay away from other false adulterous Grooms.

You've stated in past posts that "the Bride" is ALL SAINTS from Genesis to Revelation.

Why then does John the Baptist say this? :

"29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled." - John 3:29 (context: vv.26-31)

The rapture cannot happen any time after the seventh trumpet; for this is what is written about the seventh trumpet.

Rev 11:15, And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Rev 11:16, And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Rev 11:18, And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Rev 11:19, And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The saints are judged for reward at the time of the seventh trumpet; so if they were to be raptured any time after the seventh trumpet, it would seem that they miss out on their reward.

It should be clear, also, that the mark, number, and name of the Beast occurs after this event, in Revelation 13 and 14.

“And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elijah must first come? ( Malachi 4:5) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things. But

I say unto you, That Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed.

Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17:10-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Resurrection occurs BEFORE the rapture which, without question is in Revelation ch 20.
Excellent Scripture - this tells us something about how our Lord arranged His Revelation - it is not linear = from A - Z.
How do we know this. Because He spoke in some parts in symbolic form to keep the message Coded whereby it can only be Decoded by the Holy Spirit and by all Scripture previously spoken by our Lord in the Gospels and in the Apostles Letters.
How do we know this - Because He said so and is seen by EVIDENCE provided by the Lord Himself.
Example: He starts with the 7 churches and then says ( in simple form) OK John i am done here - let me show you some other things.

Example: the Six Seals are more evidence of this whereby Seals 1 - 5 are not God's wrath.
Take a closer look at Seal 5 where the Saints are being killed for their Witness and Faith in Christ.

Rev 6: 9-11 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying,
How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The First Resurrection (Matt 24, 1 Thess 4, 2 Thess 2) does not take place until Rev ch 20
Rev 20:4-6 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Now back to the 6th Seal - Rev 6:12-17
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks,
Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Rev ch7 starts again as did ch4 with "after these things". Here our Lord gives us another partly symbolic view of His Plan.

The main point is this - No one can accurately decipher the partly Coded( by our Lord) Revelation on it's own without understanding what our Lord said in the Gospels and the Apostles Letters and from the Prophet Daniel.

So, you are saying that what happens in Revelation 8:7 to 9:21 is satan's doing and not God's?
No.

Here is satan giving the church great tribulation:

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
