The reason I posted the verse with the Greek, was to demonstrate that the "in" is only present in the "believed in Christ" part. Otherwise, the verse says by the faith "OF" Christ
Looking at the Greek you provided, the word "of" is not included in the text ... and the word "in" does appear in the text:

I know, but an "in" is in the part of the verse that says "by faith in Christ". So, if an "in" was intended, it would be there. And while I'm not an expert in Greek, I have observed the same thing in many other places in the Bible, so I think "of" is an
appropriate interpretation. See below

[Rom 15:32 KJV] 32 That[G2443] I may come[G2064] unto[G4314] you[G5209] with[G1722] joy[G5479] by[G1223] the will[G2307] of God,[G2316] and[G2532] may[G4875] with you[G5213] be refreshed.[G4875]

[3Jo 1:3 KJV] 3 For[G1063] I rejoiced[G5463] greatly,[G3029] when the brethren[G80] came[G2064] and[G2532] testified[G3140] of the truth[G225] that is in thee,[G4675] even as[G2531] thou[G4771] walkest[G4043] in[G1722] the truth.[G225]

[Heb 11:25 KJV] 25 Choosing[G138] rather[G3123] to suffer affliction[G4778] with the people[G2992] of God,[G2316] than[G2228] to enjoy the pleasures[G2192][G619] of sin[G266] for a season;[G4340]

Here is Gal 2:16 again:

[Gal 2:16 KJV] 16 Knowing[G1492] that[G3754] a man[G444] is[G1344] not[G3756] justified[G1344] by[G1537] the works[G2041] of the law,[G3551] but[G3362] by[G1223] the faith[G4102] of Jesus[G2424] Christ,[G5547] even[G2532] we[G2249] have believed[G4100] in[G1519] Jesus[G2424] Christ,[G5547] that[G2443] we might be justified[G1344] by[G1537] the faith[G4102] of Christ,[G5547] and[G2532] not[G3756] by[G1537] the works[G2041] of the law:[G3551] for[G1360] by[G1537] the works[G2041] of the law[G3551] shall[G1344] no[G3756][G3956] flesh[G4561] be justified.[G1344]

And the converse of not trusting in God doesn't detract anything from His work is true also. Neither is He any less faithful because we are unfaithful. Indeed, trusting in Him is, in actuality, giving Him all credit as our Savior, proven Faithful and True. All that remains for us is whether we accept the proof as valid or reject it.
Agreed!

I include what I want to and if you don't like it don't read it. You don't give the orders about my posts
Fine. Then I won't read them. So stop replying to my posts then, if you insist on junking up the quotes.

This is a total cop-out. I color coded the verses. But you'd rather dodge than engage.
There was no red in what I saw. I don't care about your opinion so why would I lie.
How am I supposed to know you are color blind? Regardless, I gave you a verse with an explanation, which you dodged.

btw, since you don't about my opinions, why even reply to my posts?

Plus, if we ponder it, we can see the only thing that "faith Christ" could mean is Christ's faith - a faith that is of Christ.

Here is a verse which demonstrates Christ' faith

[Rev 2:13 NKJV]
13 "I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne [is]. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas [was] My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

Greetings. . . Let’s discuss atonement some more. Consider . . .

Psalm 32
New King James Version

32 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not [b]impute iniquity,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old
Through my groaning all the day long.
4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;
My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah
5 I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
6 For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You
In a time when You may be found;
Surely in a flood of great waters
They shall not come near him.
7 You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule,
Which have no understanding,
Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle,
Else they will not come near you.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked;
But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.
11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous;
And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

It seems that if we want to be pardoned, we must confess our iniquities and look to Jesus who covers all our sin. We should go to the heavenly Father and cry for that gracious forgiveness that is given to all who believe in Jesus. It is the free gift of God in Christ Jesus. It is God’s grace. We can see clearly in verse 5 that forgiveness followed on the heels of David’s confession because Christ’s atonement had already taken place for eternity.

Far be it from me to attempt to reason with someone who does not live in the peace of Christ's eternal irrevocable security, and while fearing they have to work all their life to stay saved.

Where is the phrase “Christ's eternal irrevocable security”, found in the scriptures?

It is only "by the Spirit" that those who keeps His commandments and obey, can do so.
I agree, the Spirit is what enables us to walk in righteousness and obey the Lord.

That is why Paul said we are to walk according to the Spirit rather than walking according to the flesh.

Here are our two choices as born again Christians —

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:12-14

  • if you live according to the flesh you will die;
  • but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live

One choice leads to eternal life, while the other choice leads to eternal death.

I don't see it as a choice but rather a warning. However, I think only the saved of God can, or will, make the appropriate choices,
which choices, are made based upoon the warnings of the Bible. The unsaved do not and have no concern or desire to follow them because they don't perceive the Bible as the word of God. When the Elect become born-again (by God) they are given a renewed mind (by the Holy Spirit), and all of that changes.

[1Co 2:11-15 KJV]
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Explain how to obey the command to be filled with the Spirit in Eph 5:18.

That is why Paul said we are to walk according to the Spirit rather than walking according to the flesh.
Parallel to Eph 5:18. So, same question. How does a believer do that?

Where is the phrase “Christ's eternal irrevocable security”, found in the scriptures?
The Holy Spirit seals the believer unto the day of redemption. In the meantime, do not grieve Him.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

In addition, believers are also commanded NOT to quench the Spirit (1 Thess 5:19). It is sad how many believers seem to have no idea how spiritual growth works, or doesn't.

The need to be IN fellowship with the Lord means to confess sins, (1 John 1:9) and then be filled with the Spirit. That is a command.

How many believers even know how to be filled? It seems many think being filled is the same as being indwelt.

Romans 11: 29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Ephesians 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it,to the praise of his glory.

John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
