Please post your opinion on what triggers the Tribulation.

I say that everything evolves around the Temple. This one that promotes peace and security is done with deceit on his mind. World is pushing for a two state solution and that possibility is high on my list. There is plenty of acres on the Temple Mount for the temple to be built on the same platform. if it was to be built anywhere else in Jerusalem it would have already happened.

A person who can bring such a covenant to bear with many leaders/nations would be looked at as a potential messiah in the eyes of the jews.

First seal is opened at the announcement of the temple being built in Jerusalem IMO

I don't think there's really a 'trigger', I think the events like the temple are just markers on a time line.

The USA is not a player in the end times. So it's removal from the world stage would be such a marker.

This:

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Only God knows says the Scripture. But it does say that when everywhere in the world the Gospel is preached, then Jesus can return.

The great tribulation is triggered by the abomination fo desolation

Matt 24: 15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the[c]elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

The entire world has not yet experienced the greatest tribulation ever to visit. To believe we have passed it is unreasonable.

This:

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Amen which was triggered by this

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

…Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:5, 7-9, 12-13‬ ‭

as soon as Jerusalem was besieged in 67-70 ad and millions of Jews were killed and scattered from thier land , the temple was destroyed . Rome turned its attention to Christians slaughtering all who would not worship Nero and then Titus as divine . and the world still persecutes Christians who do not bow to false gods like ( allah )in many nations today

Christian persecution started long before that. Wiki: "The first, localized Neronian persecution occurred under the emperor Nero (r. 54–68) in Rome. "

The entire world has not yet experienced the greatest tribulation ever to visit.
We have.

To believe we have passed it is unreasonable.
We have not.

How can this be?

We are in it now.

It began circa 70 A.D.

It will end at some point in the future.

The worst is yet to come.

No - that happened in 167 B.C.

Actually it hasn't happened yet. Sure, some shadows or types have happened but the real one and actual fulfillment is something yet to happen. When it does, the 42 months of great trib will have started and at it's end second coming happens.

Actually, it has. And, we know it has because we can trace our history most of the way through Daniel 11. And, we know that Daniel 11:31 is referring to Antiochus IV Epiphanes defiling the temple.

And, this is not a 'shadow' - this is the [actual] "real deal"...

Again, when AoD happens, there is only 42 months until the second coming so, no, it has not happened yet because 42 months from either 70AD or 167AD still results in no second coming.
