Thats WHY you look to that. Not the law of moses

But if you say you are without sin, you also decieve yourself. And there is no truth in you (1 John 1: 8)
So your a sinless perfection guy? Now it makes sense

Again, John calls you decieved.
No, he doesn't.

I would be deceived if I said that I did not have sin indwelling me as a factor/element. I acknowledge that I have indwelling sin.

However, indwelling sin does not have to have dominion over me (Romans 6:14) because I am dead to it (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8).

Therefore, there is no contradiction between 1 John 1:8 and 1 John 3:5-9!

typical - to or with, same outcome
that is what scribes and pharisees do - strive about words
So, why are you striving about them?

I said ":to" and you changed it to "with".

Just so you could argue with me?

If we attempt to keep a set of do's and don'ts (the letter of the law), we will utterly fail (Galatians 6:13).

However, if we receive the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ (Galatians 3:14), and then walk according to that Spirit, the righteousness of the law will be fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).

If we bear the fruit of the Spirit there is no law that will condemn us in our behaviour (Galatians 5:22-23). Therefore, we will be law-abiding citizens of the kingdom of heaven.

This is a righteousness apart from the law that is nevertheless attested to by the law and the prophets (Romans 3:21) that it is righteousness indeed.

The law reveals to us whether or not we are sinners (whether or not we are walkling according to the Spirit, so that the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us). It shows us whether or not we are still sinners in need of a Saviour/ salvation.

For those who are born of God have it as their general disposition that they "do not" and "cannot sin.

Take that as hypoerbole if you like. For, if it is, then it is exaggeration to make a point.

What point? That if anyone is born again, their life will change and they will begin to walk in holiness and righteousness.

As it is written,

Pro 4:18, But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
So your a sinless perfection guy? Now it makes sense

Again, John calls you decieved.
I also did not set forth the doctrine of sinless perfection in that post.

Right. The OP teaches that that is our new relationship to the law. That we are dead to it, as concerning condemnation.

It remains that we will be called great in the kingdom if we obey and teach the least of the commandments in the Old Testament, and the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:17-20).
Your first comment is correct

Your second comment is misleading. That has NOTHING to do with the law

Make up your mind

Are you sinless or not?

And as Jesus told us to do

Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

1st command to love God with all our heart/soul/mind.
2nd being like it love our neighbour as ourselves.

Oh yes he also said love our enemies as well.
Another commandment.
Yes, if we love God and neighbor we will not be violating any of the other commandments in the Old or New Testaments (Romans 13:8-10).

I set forth the concept, in that post, that we are being sanctified as believers (Proverbs 4:18).

Now, I do believe that we can come to a place of being entirely perfected in this life (Hebrews 10:14 (kjv)); but I did not set forth that idea in the post in question.

What is misleading about the second comment? It is something that Jesus said. Are you accusing the Lord of being misleading in what He has said?

You wrote the comment in context of the law

What has nothing to do with the law? if you are referring to Matthew 5:17-20, I beg to differ with you.
The law was fulfilled in us

Me sayin tthe law has no place in our lives is not me telling people to sin or it is ok to sin

Then why do you focus on the law?
Because it is a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ (Galatians 3:24); in showing mankind that he is a sinner in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20); thus converting his soul (Psalms 19:7 (kjv)).

Whether you are born again or not, you can know whether or not you've sinned by looking into the perfect law of liberty (the ten commandments) and seeing whether you've violated any of it.
I agree the ten commandments are given us by God, and what is of God is wonderful and good, but I think God improved on this law given in stone when God wrote that law on our hearts.

The parable of the good Samaritan illustrates this improvement. A Pharisee obeyed the law in stone of not working on the Sabbath by refusing help for a man who was hurt and needed it. He obeyed the law in stone and disobeyed the spirit of the law that was clear to the man who helped the hurt man on the Sabbath.

And the Scripture, which cannot lie, says we are NO LONGER under the school-master.
