The rapture of the church was a mystery until revealed by Paul. The Lord never spoke of a rapture of the body of Christ. He spoke of the gathering up of the Jews.
1 Corinthians 15
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

First things First - No JSOC until His Coming.
There is no secret rapture - this is a lie
Every eye shall see Him coming in the clouds with Glory - Matt 24 and Acts 1
No one but the Father knows the day and hour He sends forth the Son, with the Holy Angels and the dead in Christ.
There is only His Second Coming in which HE brings with HIM the dead in HIM so that HE can Resurrect there bodies into GLORIFIED Ones.
AFTER that those Saints who remain and are alive will be raptured. - 1 Thess 4: 13-18
This is PURE Undefiled TRUTH from the Mouth of God.

I Corinthians is the mystery of TRANSFORMATION of corruption to INCORRUPTION
1 Thess 4 is specifically the Coming of Christ and bringing with Him the Saints who died and are in Heaven so that He can resurrect their bodies.
The resurrection precedes (BEFORE) the rapture
Both are speaking of the same event - the Resurrection at His Coming
