Because that is what you want it to say. .....different than the facts.
Validated...I might say.......by scripture which tells us we will be ...."kept from the hour (major destruction) that shall come upon all the earth".....
And it also says, Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

So, quoting from one letter is meaningless since the opposite is promised in another letter. Neither is even addressing the rapture anyways. Why go to a passage that actually is speaking of rapture? I know why, because it won't say it's a rapture before trib happens. That's why pretribs always avoid actual rapture passages.

Different reference to a tribulation...not a reference to THE TRIBULATION. Keep it in context. That is apparent by the words.... ten days.
THE TRIBULATION will last for years...no days.

That has become the typical leftist approach when they get confronted with the facts because they don't want to hear them. Further they wish to change God's word and are constant with their effort.

We are reminded that, by vast majority, the left is not allied with Christian doctrine...and it is worsening by the week.

Often what you see...trib. position here......is attempt to distract from God's word and cause confusion.
The Bible is clear ...there will be a pre-trib. rapture.

Leftist?

Yet again...

The letters to the churches cover 2 chapters.
2 chapters, not 1 verse. You can't cherry pick only that which you like.

Being kept from something does not require a removal to the throne room of heaven for a 7-year marriage supper.
You can't support that theory with this verse.

Protection from danger can be on earth.
Israel was protected from the plagues of Egypt. In Egypt, on earth.
Shadrach Meshach & Abednego were protected from fire. In the furnace.
On earth. Jesus has many ways to keep his people from trials & tribulations.

...and the tribulation is one of them.

The Bible does not teach that....so Where do you get ...a 7 year marriage supper?

People in glass houses.
This isn't an orthodox doctrine you are defending. It's a new pop-culture notion.

I'm a Last day Resurrectionist. I believe as my forbears did.
For nearly 2000 years the church awaited the return of Jesus in glory and the resurrection.

The left-behinder doctrine with 2-returns of Jesus (whatever you want to call it) is the newly-introduced idea.
The politically correct one.
The big-church establishment darling of doctrines
The idea that is pleasing to itching ears.
The woman who wants a baby without labour & delivery.

"the marriage FEAST / SUPPER" is the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom commencing upon His "RETURN" to the earth.

It is the "MARRIAGE" itself, which takes place UP THERE *WITH HIM* (and which does NOT pertain to the 10 or even 5 "virginS [PLURAL]" or the "GUESTS [PLURAL]" who never lift off the earth, but who are present still on the earth upon His "RETURN" there)

It's fine to revise the script but that's not how the Left-Behind story (or whatever you want to call it) has been taught.

You must know that.

Hi Aaron, thanks for this post. Additionally, Christians who are open to studying this more thoroughly will be shocked at all the aspects of the Pre-Trib doctrine. Though I don't agree with everything Hank Hanegraff has to say, he lays out his arguments both thoroughly and intelligently in this short video:
Lol

Do any of them unpack our verses, or do they beat the air thinking they know what we believe.

None of you, when pressed , directly challenge ANY PRETRIB VERSES.

No it isnt.
Jesus at the last supper plaved it in heaven.

Rev 19 also places it in heaven

As does the Jewish wedding tradition.

And here we have what's known as a red herring fallacy which is to bring up a topic not being discussed to avoid discussing what is being discussed.

Laura brought up Hanegraaff's view on Pretrib, not his views on Preterism.
Is there anything Hannegraph is NOT AGAINST?

His " ministry" is BUILT on againstness.

Too bad his morals are disgraceful.

every one of the errors of pre-trib have and always will be rebuked by Scripture

Scripture cannot lie

pre-trib rapture never came out of the Mouth of GOD

Our LORD only said this: Immediately after the tribulation...............I will gather My Elect = Matthew 24: 29-31

Revelation says this:
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection.

Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Jesus is part if the first resurrection.

I doubt you knew that since in trying to reframe it you would naturally not be well versed into other verses.

You deliberately reframed that.

It ACTUALLY SAYS;

"ANGELS GATHER"
PSSSSSST....NOT JESUS

"IN HEAVEN".....NOT EARTH

But i do understand your need to change verses.

You never have had ANY STANDING.

NONE

@Laura798 , (re: your Post #1671 and H. Hanegraaff's [Preterist] video)

I own at least two of Hanegraaff's books (that I can think of readily... and maybe own more), but I recall when reading those I was able to detect his various mis-steps and flaws, in his presentation (per his books), in his endeavor to prove his "Preterist" viewpoint. o_O
Hank has an amazing knack for getting on the wrong side of doctrine.

As it is Written in the Word of God

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters,
and whoever loves and practices a lie.

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, [j]God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Oh yeah.

Keep posting verses.

I agree with you there.....aa long as you leave out you reframe jobs.

I always thank my God, i do not meed a postrib rapture workbook.

( complete with all the verse changing, and omissions)
