The researchers in Texas (it might have been Arizona but I think Texas) were doing derivative research of a researcher here in TN...of course this was also the location of a major cell of technology espionage...it flew below the radar screens because SARS and Bird Flu outbreaks were over. Indeed the researcher here in Nashville was sweating getting new funding for research in Covid viral research. There wasn't much money for this research. But the Chinese Nationals being in viral research wasn't exactly uncommon either. But the whole thing just stinks. A comedy of errors and stupidity. "Gain of function" testing is common outside of bioweapons...it's about trying to get ahead of variants and which variants are the most likely candidates so you can make better vaccines. (Wife works in research)

No matter what...the whole thing stinks. And PRC is right in the center of it all. The researchers in Texas basically stole another person's work and derivative research just to get the research dollars to give PRC the firsthand opportunity to gain information. Then handed the lab work to a lab that bid the lowest price because "they didn't understand" the needed protocols for safe handling. It wasn't bioweapons as much as normal thievery and scummy behavior by them.

Now the same PRC that infected the whole world is saber rattling at Taiwan... because PRC needs Taiwanese cash to fix their junk bond crisis from poor real estate speculation.

It's been said that the us started the aids virus.And they got it From Africa.Many Countys have been said to have experimented with that germs and virus way back in ww2.It would not take a mighty nation or wealthy person even desperate person could give it a go.If it work that way, a drug company could make some sickness and sell meds for it.There would be risk of course.The devil would love the rumors of such also.

Not really engineered... you really don't have to and a virus will mutate given enough opportunity to propogate. This is why two variants have come out of India already and one out of South America and one out of Africa....when allowed to propogate unchecked with extremely poor sanitation along side any virus will mutate.
The places that have mutated the virus has been all of these things.
The variants the researchers were able to create didn't differ enough to matter. (Three)

Currently Lamda and Mu variants are of particular concern as both are extremely dangerous. Mu needs different vaccines as the antibodies produced by the Vaccines or monoclonal antibodies are worthless for it. Lamba is similar to Ebola in effect...liquifying your organs...
Again different antibodies are needed.

It's unclear whether the new antiviral pill will work on either of these two strains.

But at any rate...

An accident is bound to happen with the way things are going. Either Taiwan will shoot down a fighter jet or an accidental weapons release from a jet (or a crash) and it's on. Tensions are that high.

Taiwan has vowed a "scorched Earth policy" stating that there will be nothing to take if it looks like they are going to lose and be occupied.

Kinda like Masada only bigger.

Its not getting any better...

China is terrified of the people. They just robbed them with this Evergrande scandal, then the harvest has been ruined this year, another very bad year, and how many others lost their homes or cars or lives in these floods. We see inflation here and it might be alarming to us, to the Chinese it is terrifying. Their is nothing they can do, their economy is based on exports and yet their is such a backup in the shipping that they can't dig out of the pit, and without coal from Australia their entire manufacturing is teetering on collapse.

Taiwan is an attempt to change the narrative and they may get cornered where they have no choice but to invade, but they know if they do they will lose and lose very big.

Yeah i think the Chinese don't want a war, its the party that is serving as their false mouthpiece, speaking the exact opposite of what the Chinese people want.
It is so sad that history is destined to repeat itself through this man, this is exactly what Germany was like in the pre-world war two era...
1. They wanted their territories back(Taiwan in this case)
2. They showed off military parades and arsenals(The military parades in whatever square in beijing)
3. An increased economic might to serve their military needs
4. its also amazing how World War Two was triggered by a German invasion of a country that had signed a military pact with other European powers, China is going to repeat history by invading a defenseless country like Poland which has signed a defense pact with the United States.
