I admit that I have not been perfect in my treatment of other people here.

However, I believe that each one of us is a work in progress; and if we blow it in our treatment of other people, while we will be hled accountable to God, is it not a similar thing to our ungodly treatment of other people that others judge us for that treatment?

Justbyfaith,

I don't see any judgment in my post--please re-read. Yes we all blow it, but that does not mean brothers and sisters can't call us out on it--in this case my posting was about so called 'believers' who show a PATTERN of rudeness in their responses. I quoted verses regarding how Christ has called us to behave.

Note that if we were in a face to face bible study, if someone was being consistently rude --I guarantee you the leader and others would call them out on it and tell them they needed to cease and desist and behave in a respectful manner. If someone came and punched you in the nose or stole your wallet or called your wife a B- - --, are you going to honestly say you wouldn't tell them that was not okay? Do you really believe allowing people to behave badly is the loving thing to do?

Here Paul calls to women out--and of course there are many other verses in both the Old and New Testament where believers are called out on their bad behaviour.

"
I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree in the Lord. Yes, I also ask you, true partner, to help these women who have contended for the gospel at my side, along with Clement and the rest of my coworkers whose names are in the book of life. (Phil. 4:2-3)

I feel sorry for these women. Partly because the apostle Paul called them out by name (and they wound up immortalized as the feuding females of the Philippian church). Paul’s willingness to call out two women when he knew the letter would be read to the whole congregation demonstrates the fact that he cared more about the unity of the church than about the church having a superficial, “everything is going to be alright” sentimental warmth.

Seek God !!!

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Philippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Got it !

Good... it's the only opinion I can give that matters as truth given to you before God

You ! can find Him if you will. No one can for you...

I stand corrected.
