The forth Kingdom is the final worldwide (known world) kingdom. The last to have complete control of all the nations around Israel.
After it the kingdoms are divided. Like Iron and Clay they haven't united as a single kingdom since Rome divided into Europe.
It will stay divided until Jesus comes but the little horn came up and ruled (it's power and kingdom is different).
TMS, when God judges a government whether, Babylon, Medes and Persians, Greece or Rome, they are all dealt a final blow, as per example -

`God has numbered your kingdom, and FINISHED IT...` (Dan. 5: 26)

None of the historic governments rise again, for God said and it was a done deal - FINISHED. What God said about one, He said and did about the others.

Where is the Belshazzar the king of Babylon? Where is Darius the Mede? Where is Alexander the great? And where is Caesar and his senate? All gone, judged by God, in the grave and never to rise again.

Your view contradicts plain Scripture. The fourth kingdom is divided.

That actually proves that those 4 beasts are contemporary NOT historic, for there is still ONE MORE Gentile Global Government to arise.
That's incorrect, because according to Daniel 2, the kingdom of Christ was established (initiated) in the time of the fourth kingdom. That was about 2000 years ago.

The rulership of Christ through His Body, but NOT over the nations of the world.

So what can you see today of this Global Government forming?

Hi LI,

So glad you are thinking contemporary. let`s discuss that -

America is not different from say the British Commonwealth, or Europe. Scripture says that the last kingdom, (`feet and toes/terrifying beast) is `different from all the beasts that were before it.` (Dan. 7: 7)

The beastly Federations are Political. Remember the religious aspect of the final Gentile Global Government get done away with.

` the 10 horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the prostitute, make her desolate and naked; eat her flesh and burn with fire.` (Rev. 17: 16)

Thus the 10 king/leaders of the final Gentile Global Government, (Political) will do away with the religions of the world. Note the religions of the world have a `mother` an over arching power and control over them.

`Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of prostitutes...` (Rev. 17: 5)

Looking at all the scriptures concerning this final composite Global Government will do see clear indications of who they all are.

Marilyn.
America was the first republic that did not remove Christian values in there secular order. The british revolt under Cromwell failed to kill the monarchy. The french republic basically went full secular. No mention of God in their laws.

The American constitution has references to God. America is said to be founded on deism and the enlightenment
https://nationalhumanitiescenter.org/tserve/eighteen/ekeyinfo/deism.htm
"Deism and the Founding of the United States Darren Staloff"
America is still one of the more religious countries in the world while europe is essentially atheist. America grew out of the faithful and became the exceptional hegemon after WWII. It fits the horns of the lamb and the earth. The 2 witnesses rise before the false prophet. (Old and new testament of the Great Bible is the first of bibles authorized in the common language published via printing press)

The beast of Revelation is a combination of the beasts in Dan 7. Rev 13:1 The dragon[a] stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.
7 heads - babylon, persia, 4 greeks, rome. Rome - 10 horns.

The 10 commandments which powered/unified european christendom will turn on the false state religion - reformation and the enlightenment overturned the catholic tradition. All mainline churches lost their influence over the citizenry of the beast.

Rev 17 is after the final vial. State religion will be banished by Jesus.
The ten horns are 10 commandments as per Rev 17:12 "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast."
compare to John 11:9 "Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

As the 12 apostles serve 1 hour in the day of Jesus, so the world will see the light. The 10 commandments served in the day of the beast, to pacify the populace.

I have scanned through history and found no matches to the 10 kings. I have checked the popes, the roman federati, roman emperors, european emperors... none seem to match.
As thermonuclear ruin is around the corner, I believe history cannot produce the 10 kings in time. The 5th seal reveals the time limit of the making martyrs. It is to fill the 144000 ranks to the fullest. Without life, there are no martyrs. Hence the end of history.

What is happening today has nothing to do with the prophetic dreams recorded in Daniel 2 and 7. They were fulfilled prior to the end of the first century.

I did a study on Daniels 4 beasts.

Here is the differences I found between Dan 2 and Dan 7 concerning the final gentile power

Dan 2:
Concerning the 4th beast:( Legs of Iron)

1. Will crush all other kingdoms, and power and territory will excede all of the other kingdoms.(History shows Rome fulfilled this not only in area of the kingdom, but in the number of years she held power)
2. It was this kingdom which was in power during the time of Christ, during the time of the writing of revelation. and in 70 ad, It had one king (vespacian) and its power was at its fullest. The people of this king destroyed the city of jerusalam and its temple. (titus) who at the death of vespacian, became king of rome, proving that in this time, we were still under the 4th or roman kingdom of iron.
3. At sometime in history, will splinter into ten kingdom or ten parts
4. Will be divided but still have the strength of the original kingdom
5. partly strong and partly fragile (divided as it is not one kingdom in unity, but many kingdoms, which which will not adhere to one another (be in unity)
6. Christ himself (the stone) will destroy this kingdom (Stone hits the feet, which crush them) destroying this kingdom. causes all the gentile kingdome to crumble and fall, destroying all the gentile kingdoms (the statue) which was seen by nebechadnezzar. Leaving no trace of them behind (the end of Gentile dominion)
7. When the final kingdom (iron and clay) is destroyed, God himself will set up his kingdom, which will never be destroyed.

So what we have is this, in this shorter vision daniel is exposed to (a much greater one will come later)

1. only 4 kingdoms were in power up till Christ, the same 4th kingdom destroyed the city and temple.
2. History shows when Rome fell, it was divided into two parts (not ten) and then fell off the map.
3. Up until this day, there has been no nation which has had ten kings, which has part of the power of rome (iron) and part of the power of man (clay) thus, already in just the 2nd chapter of daniel, we have introduced a prophetic gap between the time the 4th kingdom suffered its mortal wound (died) and the restoration of that kingdom in a fractured way (iron and clay)
4. The final kingdom will be crushed by God himself, at that time, Gods kingdom will be established which will never be destroyed.

Dan 7

Lion with eagles wings - Babylon, we are told wings were plucked off (lost its power) and made to stand like a man. Nebachadnezar lost his power. and made to crawl like an animal later, stood up again and regained his power (after confessing one God)

bear, standing up on one side - Media Persia -two sided bear, One stronger than the other, History showed the medes were weaker power, Persia untied with them, and was much stronger. In fact most historians call this the perisan empire, 3 ribs = 3 kingdoms destroyed by the persions, They egyptian, assyrian and babylonian empires were taken by this power

leapard - 4 wings and 4 heads - greek - one power splintered into 4 when Alexander the great died at a young age.

Concerning the 4th beast;
1. huge and powerfull with iron teeth. - rome, again the iron kingdom. Again, the most powerful, Rome actually held more land than any kingdom previous and any since, It also had the longest reign of any of the previous kingdoms on earth (including back to Egyption kingdom)
2. then we are told out of this beast 10 horns will arise, which are ten kingdoms, out of which grows one horn which destroys three horns. he is given a mouth, and speaks pompous words. Had teeth of Iron and Nails of bronze (in chapter two it was iron and clay mixed)

what we see here is a more detailed vision which goes into greater detail than the basic one of daniel 2 of the 4th beast, Chapter 8 goes into greater detail of the second two empires The interpretation given is mostly concerning the 4th beast, which was great and terrible. What we also see is another example of a prophetic gap between the original roman empire, and the reformed roman ten king empire, however, this gap is made more clear here as we will see.

According to the interpretation we are told this about the reformed empire;

1. 10 horns are ten kings, which will arise out of the original beast
2. another will arise (the little horn)
3. he will subdue three of the kings and these kingdoms will be added to his kingdom (leaving 7 kingdoms)
4. shall speak blasphemies against the most high God
5. change times and laws
6. Shall gain control of the whole earth
7. saints are given to him, and he will persecute them for times time and half a time (3 1/2 years)
8. slain at the end by Christ and sent to burning flame
9. Kingdom given to the Christ, and all men and nations and languages shall serve him.

No; the Scripture CLEARLY says (in both Daniel and Revelation) the horns are kings, not commandments. You will never understand Scripture if you ignore plain, clear statements and substitute tenuous speculations.

, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast."

This is wacky numerology, not sound biblical interpretation. Please, for your own good, seek some proper instruction and toss the garbage from which you've gotten this codswollop.

Did you know the KJV is a translation and exegesis is performed on the oldest languages which the text is written? Analogy is not numerology and it is not recommended to listen to someone who exegetes on an english translation. Thank you for your warning. I am sure all due attention will be afforded, Have a good one.

That's not a coherent sentence. Perhaps you'd like to rephrase it?

As thermonuclear ruin is around the corner, I believe history cannot produce the 10 kings in time. .
Hi LI,

I do find your comments rather full of strange interpretations that are not scriptural. And God does not let mankind blow itself up.

Now as to the 10 kings. They are of the Federation/kingdom of the final Gentile Global Government.

1. The leader is the `Assyrian,` from the area of Iraq & Syria. (Isa. 31: 8)
2. He is known as the King of the north, (of Israel - Iraq & Syria) (Dan. 11: 40)
3. His center of government is Babylon in Iraq. (Rev. 18, Zech. 5: 5 - 11. note: Shinar is in Iraq where the Babel tower was built.) Babylon is at present being rebuilt by the USA & the UN.

The 10 kings are -

3 - Iraq, Syria & Jordan. (These were divided up and controlled by France and Britain after WW 1, however these colonial `roots` will be pulled up.) It will be the Peace Negotiator`s first power base. From there he goes on to deceive the world. (Dan. 8: 23 - 25, 11: 21)

7 - Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Omar, Yemen, Saudi Arabia,

When these 10 kings unite under the Islamic leader is will be the most formidable, terrifying power the world has ever seen. (Dan. 7: 7)

Most of the OT addressed ancient Israel and the immediate surroundings. Do you try to make the prophecies about Tyre, Nineveh, or Sodom fit our time? Probably not. So why do you try to make the prophecies about ancient Rome fit our time?

Or, to put it another way, just because you can't see how a prophecy has been fulfilled doesn't mean that it has not been fulfilled. :)

Well since Christians were severely persecuted by the Romans at that time, one can hardly say that they were ruling the Roman empire. The literal, physical and spiritual Kingdom of God on earth is still in the future (after the Second Coming). Right now Satan is controlling the world as never before, and even fooling Christians through fear-mongering.
