If you are not under the law personally, you are certainly free to disregard everything that I have been saying.
My purpose in preaching the law, is to preach it as a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ (Galatians 3:24).
If the law shows you to be a sinner (Romans 3:20) then it is showing you that you need Christ.
It is always good to be reminded of this even if we have been a believer for a long period of time.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul (Psalms 19:7).
If you are already converted, then you don't need any of what I have been preaching. Go on your merry way.

I have tried to correct them by scripture.
No scripture that they have brought up is convincing enough for me to cause me to disregard the scriptures that I have brought up.
In all reality, I am in agreement with them very much as concerning the teachings on grace.
But there is more to the picture than what they are understanding.

Please do not ever stop your meds and have them re evaluated frequently.
There is no shame in needing medical assistance nor in taking meds.
God gives us wisdom to know when we need help from each other
I am 64 and take meds for a variety of illness. I'm thankful for modern meds,I've outlived all my maternal family members by about 5 yrs now and I'd like to reach 94.

Because I know that I have the capacity to be off-base in my thinking, I always try to reference verses in my teachings that substantiate my point of view; and I always encourage the reader to be a Berean (Acts 17:10-11) and search the scriptures to see whether what I am saying is true.
And I believe that the Lord's power is made perfect in my weakness. He motivates me to study to shew myself approved, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I endeavor to be correct in my understanding of doctrine and have asked the Lord to let that understanding remain unaffected by my mental illness (I am merely diagnosed bipolar by three different psychiatrists).
And I believe that the Lord's power is made perfect in my weakness. He motivates me to study to shew myself approved, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

God has given me a few passages that have helped me to overcome the condemnation that I have felt.
Hebrews 11:21 is the primary one.
If a staff can help someone walk when they are crippled physically, medicine can help a person walk spiritually or emotionally when they are crippled in such a manner; and we can even "worship while leaning on the top of our staff" to the day of our death.
