you can pick up 30 crosses and that will still not be the way to salvation. you do not get to decide how to follow Jesus. the Bible is clear on how to follow Him. you begin by admitting you are a sinner and believe that Jesus died for your sins. you accept him as the one who died in your place in order to satisfy the demands of God who is holy. those are the facts very briefly summed up and the way to follow Christ
you cannot follow Him your way or make up nonsense and say that you follow Him
the devil and his demons can quote scripture and will come as an angel of light to deceive people

Nice dodge. This is not what we was speaking of. I get to be a witness to sinners and that is not a bad thing. I could only imagine the opportunities Cornelius the centurion had after believing in Christ. Peter didn't tell him to find a different job.
This conversation is about the Bible, the inerrant, infallible Word of God. Jesus being of this Godhead.

Lol you do realize that was the hypocrisy Jesus was speaking of the teachers of the law. They could not perfectly hold the law even though that was what God required.
Jesus was showing their hypocrisy and need for the Messiah.

I am a sinner. I am a forgiven sinner. We are only seen as perfect in Christ as our mediator as to why in love I seek to abide and obey His commands. Not in legalistic perfection but in a relationship of someone who hates greiving the Spirit with sin.
