Regardless of your judgement, the question is what makes this entire thread possible. It is impossible to imagine it is not a question germane to the matter at hand, when so many people answer the question time and again by insisting the church will suffer the Tribulation.
Ergo, the rational perspective looks at those statements and posits the only natural question that is inferred by those statements that seemingly answer the unsaid, until my post, question. Where in the scripture does it expressly state the church will go through the great tribulation?

Answering that question by implication only to insist the question itself adds nothing to this discussion is irrational.
The LORD Jesus Christ insisted that we will endure tribulation and persecution for His Name sake even to the point of death.

Instead of trying to avoid the Truth by believing a lie (pre-trib), you will do much better for yourself and others by believing what Christ did say - not what He did not say.

We are still waiting for the scripture that says "Jesus will pre-trib rapture you before the Resurrection."

So far, no one is able to find one - not even one.

I assume you're talking about 1Jn2:28, which reads (in part), "so that when HE APPEARS [G5319] we might have boldness and not be ashamed before Him"

... but note what 1 Peter 5:4 says, "And when the chief Shepherd SHALL APPEAR [G5319], ye shall receive a crown / stephanon of glory that fadeth not away"... yet you are always claiming that "the dead in Christ" (who are presently "at home [G1736] with [G4314 (NOT "G4862 UNIONed-with" yet)] the Lord" ALREADY HAVE (as in, ARE WEARING *NOW* [in their "spirits / souls"]) "crowns / stephanos"...

... and you continually say this, just so you can ignore the fact of the ones wearing "crowns" in Rev4:4 (who are also the ones who say, in 5:9--BEFORE the SEALS are opened: when Jesus will "STAND to JUDGE"--"hast redeemed US to God by thy blood out-of EVERY...") are already-glorified saints! (i.e. already having been raptured and already having stood before [G3936 ;) ] the BEMA [for rewards])

.....
Just one verse that says "Jesus wil pre-trib rapture you before the Resurrection"

If you can just find one.....................

Again, you've added nothing of value to the conversation itself. Rather than try to needlessly & recklessly argue with others, why not actually try to have a healthy debate by refuting the OP point by point?

"Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."
Yeah, and Paul said it "IS LAID UP [PRESENT INDICATIVE]" for him... and that he will be awarded it "IN THAT DAY" (not the day he DIES and will be "at home" with the Lord in his "spirit / soul" but "absent from the body," see...), 2Tim4:8.

Are you suggesting that "the dead in Christ" (done living their lives on this earth [and the "work" as well], and now present with the Lord) can have THEIR "crowns" taken by someone (NOW)?? That's a rather wacky idea (not to mention, not biblically accurate).

Anyway, re-read my other post that tells "WHEN" (re: crowns)... it's not when a believer DIES that they [supposedly, immediately] receive them... and presently, while they still live on the earth, have them "LAID UP" (not presently WEARING them, as Rev4:4 shows ppl to be WEARING them UP IN HEAVEN... BEFORE the SEALS are opened when Jesus will "STAND to JUDGE").

That's a twisted thought. ^

Recall, the "2W" are resurrected at the "6th Trumpet [events] / 2nd Woe"... at a time-slot DISTINCT FROM when all other saints will be.

And yet, you cannot see that the "ONE BODY" ("the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY") is "caught up [/ SNATCHED - G726]" and that this pertains SOLELY TO "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY," not to all other saints of all OTHER time-periods: not to OT saints, not to Trib saints, not to MK saints...

If you can just find one.....................
Revelation 20:5b,6 is not saying (as you suggest) "this is the first time any saints will have been resurrected"... as badly as you want it to say such a thing, so as to hold to your faulty "post-trib" rapture idea. Believe what you wish, DavidTree.

Wackiness is not believing what the LORD said: Revelation 3:11-12
"I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The one who overcomes..."

1.) He is Coming
2.) they have been given crowns already ( you cannot see them, can you)
3.) You must overcome (or lose your crown) = so that no one will take your crown

Avoid the temptation of seeking to bypass Scripture and twist it to conform to the lie of pre-trib by obedience to Christ and His words.

As someone who grew up in what was basically a "Pre-Tribulation cult" only to denounce & refute that eschatology as an adult, I can tell you from personal experience that you are going to have a very hard time trying to convince others to break free from the religious traditions & pet doctrines. Especially one that has been so manipulative & lucrative.
Yeah, most pre-tribbers think they came up with the doctrine through personal Bible study. What they don't see (or refuse to acknowledge) is the Cash Machine that has fueled the popularity and spread of pre-trib ideas. It also appeals to Christians who have no experience of maturing within the house of God to become reliable sons of God. These are those who say they are "merely sinners saved by grace" to absolve themselves of the expectation to mature; thinking that the Lord will transport them out of harm's way provides no incentive to be conformed to the fullness of the stature that is Christ. This doctrine keeps them immature and unable to bear the weight of kingdom responsibilities. It's exactly the kind of teaching the Enemy of the saints would create.

You've not yet proven the "pre-trib rapture" to be a "lie". ;)
It has been demolished for many months now and right from the very beginning.

Here are just TWELVE for you

1.) Matthew 24:29-31 , Matthew 25:1-13
2.) 1 Thessalonians 1:10
3.) 1 Thess 3:1-5
4.) 1 Thess 4:13-18
5.) 2 Thess 2:1-3
6.) 1 Timothy 4:1
7.) 1 John 2:15-19
8.) 1 Corinthians ch15
9.) James ch 5
10.) Revelation chapters 1 - 20
11.) Not one person has brought forth a single scripture that says: Christ will pre-trib rapture His Elect before the Resurrection.
12.) pre-trib rapture never came out of the Mouth of God

[adding to my Post #2531]

... which is speaking of this:

"Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is." verse 2

Your carnal exegesis is not approved by the Holy Spirit - i urge you to repent from believing a lie for carnal pleasure.

For there will be a time when they will not endure sound teaching, but according to the own desires, having an itching ear, they will gather around them teachers to suit themselves,
That is from a new age religion Bible. Explains a lot.

Don't quit your day job for a while longer to become a comic. LOL
Yeah, comedy is not my forte.
Concerning His Coming in the Scripture - i have the Holy Spirit straight on it.

Without a doubt concern that those in opposition will ever understand His instructions for eternal salvation.

And here is the predictable Pre-trib Ad Hominem personal attack. You have no scripture to support Pre-trib so all you have left is to attack the other people. Pot calling the kettle black.

For those reading, if you don't agree with Pre-tribbers they will question/deny your salvation! Nice crowd huh?
