I would say that it comes from immaturity, but as I was leaving court a while back, a guy who had to have been at least in his 80s was sitting on the steps and said, "I haven't seen a wiggle like that in a long time". I didn't turn around around, but, to be honest, I did chuckle all the way to my car. Coming from a friend's dad would be totally creeping though..ugh.

Okay, first off I want to give you a high five because I think black women are really getting the short end of the racial stick that is the dominant culture of the day. Like us you're getting kicked in the teeth with the strange Hollywood and cultural insistance of a Hitler-esque racial perfection which unlike back in the 1930's now insists that the ultimate is in fact a WHITE woman and an ethnic man of some sort. I guess what confuses me about Christian messages these days is that while its considered important to tell me and my group to not tarnish ourselves by becoming racist, NO ONE wants to stand up against the practises that have become so widespread.

I've been watching campaigns going on for years now to encourage UNDERAGED girls to have sex for multicultural purposes and you would think that any Christian leaders with any intestinal fortitude would stand up and condemn these practises. Instead, silence abounds because these wussies are so afraid fo being called "racists." I think this most pathetic and un-Christian of anything. Further, I notice with all of the talk of "badboys" whether its racial or just each''s own behaviour NO ONE has decided as yet on this thread to give a cautionary speech to all the women asking for such. I don't hear "HEY LADIES,WHATEVER BEHAVIOUR YOU MEAN BY THIS, REMEMBER GOD HAS RULES AGAINST PRE-MARITAL SEX AND FORNICATION. IF YOU'RE TRYING TO BE A GOD FEARING CHRISTIAN PLAN YOUR ACTIONS ACCORDINGLY AND BE VERY CAREFUL OF JUST WHAT EXCITING BAD BOY CHARACTERISTICS YOU'RE ESPOUSING."

I know, I KNOW!!!

I was disappointed too. I always wanted to be a cheerleader. Growing up I would steal the Loofas from the bathroom and dress the part too. But Parading around the house yelling letters didn't fly well, especially considering my dad worked nights.

I dont think this thread was intended on bashing neither "good" nor "bad" boys. I think it was inteneded to get a perspective about what those phrases mean to us and why it is like that.

I understand your views on fornication as I feel the exact same way. And that is why I never made a comment about it in this thread. To me it is a given under no circumstances at all to be having those types of relationships outside of marriage.

Maybe bad boys try to put the pressure on when it come to that but I didn't think this thread was about that. Now if the thread title was Characteristics of Bad Boys vs. Good Boys, then maybe I would see us going down that road.

There have been plenty of threads in the past about premarital relations. So if you want to get some people views on that look those up.

As far as the whole thing about the portrayal of fornication in the media, well of course but I dont think race really plays a role in that. Yes there are interacial couple on tv, but thats not the problem. Far before we were seeing interacial couples fornicate we were seeing same race couple do the same thing.

For your last paragraph, the difference I see is the whole making it a big heroic cause. I have yet to see anyone in a same race relationship try to sell me on the virtues of their sexual exploits. Yet when I was 16 I started to come across girls who honestly expected a big" hooray!" because they were having sex with a black guy. I found the same attitudes amongst girls in the college christian club a few years later. Don't really wonder where they got it from since I watch the same tv and had the same school system as them. What I've found highly obnoxious about it though is to hear girls bragging about how "my boyfriend is black and he's" bad" because he's black and because he's black I'm good because I'm having sex with a black guy and he's bad because he's bad but he's good because he's black!" And then the whole gangsta's are cool and pimpin' and ho's movement goes with it. I just fail to understand how people who claim to be christians can go along with this stuff. But I guess when Satan came up with his multiculturalism schemes to wipe out christianity he put a lot of thought into the indoctrination process.

I'm probably skipping over some of your points but this gets me to my next point... I fail to understand why the same people who have declared themselves to be super for being outspoken, outlaws, "bad" and outright criminals, have this massive propensity to dish out rules of conduct for me which basically expect me to be a complete sap and to support their agendas rather than having any self interest whatsoever of my own. Guess its falling apart somewhere though since a number of people on here think I'm a real jerk. Which makes me think I'm starting to have success because if you can't beat them join them... only in your own way.

Seriously? People said you were too nice for doing those things? Well, those people can enjoy their poor marriages. If you don't have a desire to serve, in love, the person you're with, then you don't get marriage at all. I think if you do those things out of care & concern & personal choice for that person, then its a great thing. Ignore the naysayers, & when you do get married & are happy that will be your final revenge, haha.
