18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

When the Book of Revelation was written, the Bible did not exist as a Book. I assert that the statement applies only to the Book of Revelation.

That John penned Revelation near the end of Domitian’s reign was widely held in the early church. Irenaeus wrote, “For that (the apocalyptic vision) was seen not a very long time since, but almost in our own day, toward the end of Domitian’s reign.” The church fathers Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Victorinus, Eusebius, and Jerome also affirm that Revelation was written during Domitian’s reign. All other Scriptures were in existence by then. Was it a book yet? Not as we know it. But NT letters and gospels were circulated among churches.

Regardless of what the Qur'an says...Jesus died on the cross and then resurrected. Without the death and resurrection of Christ there's no redemption of sin, there's no salvation for anyone. Therefore, Islam attempts to undermine or pervert the entire Christian faith with this one detail. Islam would have us believe that Jesus walked around claiming he was no one special.....it's a massive lie.
I'm talking about the truth of Koran, not the truth among Muslims.(In addition, Muslims regard Jesus as a prophet.)

if You read the beginning of this book (Koran). It says that both Jews and Christians read the book of God ,we all read the book of God ( We include Muslims here), But
Jews and Christians attack each other,
both Jews and Christians have no knowledge,(This sentence can now be applied to Muslims, who have no knowledge.)

people forget that this is a complete book of God. People only read their own part. Jews read the Old Testament, Christians read the New Testament and Muslims read the Koran.

so things became wired ............as people can not read word as they never learning word ........both Jews Christians Muslims ,
From their ability to read the Koran , they are illiterate. maybe blind as Mohammed

It is crucial that we think about all this with our big peoples heads. Too many rely on Pastors to teach them what to think. If we read both the OT and the NT we get a more broad view. I've read the Qur'an but I try to ignore the Fatwas. It is an exercise in futility to seek absolutes in the study of religion.

I have a book that I have not read yet that is "Mormons and Muslims". I don't know when I'll get around to it. I hope it will be interesting.

I agree with you.a more broad view.

I just want to add a little bit of my thoughts and understanding. People say that Muslims copy the Bible. If Muslims really copy the Bible, how can the Qur'an knows that Jews and Christians are the same thing?

What I'm talking about here is the Qur'an , not Muslims. Muslims don't fully understand what the Qur'an is saying

I was told by a Saudi National that only about 26% of their citizens are religious. I was also told by a Christian Pastor that less than10% of people read the Bible. I don't know about Jews but perhaps the numbers would be similar?

That is incorrect. The Qur'an clearly distinguishes between Christians and Jews. At the same time they are all called "disbelievers" since they do not believe in Allah and his messenger Muhammad. Therefore they are consigned to Hell in the Qur'an.

68. Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the disbelievers, the Fire of Hell, abiding therein forever. It is their due. And Allah has cursed them. They will have a lasting punishment... 71. The believing men and believing women are friends of one another. They advocate virtue, forbid evil, perform the prayers, practice charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. These—Allah will have mercy on them. Allah is Noble and Wise. (Sura 9:68,71)

Note: Muhammad did take large portions of the Old Testament and distort them within the Qur'an.

The sole issue I have with Muslims is how they view Isa (PBUH), yet it is marginally understandable. Muhammad PBUH knew Christians and Jews, yet decided to go his own way. I do not see a lot of difference between Muslims, Christians and Jews otherwise. Their thinking is that Allah SWT is the highest and most Devine and has no body, so can not procreate, so can not have a Son. I don't get too excited about the issue.
There is a world of difference. Christians don't murder people who insult Jesus. Christians don't call a murdering paedophile the "ideal man". If you burn a Bible, a Christian may not be impressed but he won't kill you. Christians don't murder those who leave Christianity. Christians don't blow themselves up and murder totally innocent people in the process. Islam and Christianity have nothing in common. Islam's Allah is not God. They have usurped the true name of God. There are plenty of other differences.

One of the reasons Mohamed chose to start his own religion is that he considered Christianity to be polytheistic. The most common form of Christianity to him was Coptic, who glorify Mary. Lord Jesus shed His precious blood for the salvation of all who receive Him. Mohamed shed the blood of everyone who opposed him. Modern Islam is much the same in most majority Muslim countries.

If the United States is also a religious country, then he did not love his enemies. When 9 / 11 happened, why didn't a priest say to Bush, when you love your enemies, but revenge?
You can't blame the majority for the problems of a few extremists.
No one is perfect.we all have sin.

As a teenager, I left the Islamic religion for a multitude of reasons. But the final straw was reading about the apostasy laws in a Islamic book that I found on a trip to California.

So you are Christian now, Read Bible then read Qur'an, you will find that Extremist Muslims are on the wrong path as Qur'an wrote.

I'm walking on a road few people have walked, and you're walking on a wide continent stepped out by people.
You walk and type at the same time? Or maybe you are using the mic
function on a phone? Hmmm, must be the phone. Many people do that.

Do you live on an uninhabited non-continent?

If Jesus is just a person, then he is even greater. I won't believe him Just because Jesus is not God .I believe him more because he is human.

Can you forgive anyone hurt you?
Can you love your enemies ?
Can you forgive ignorant people?
If not it's a board way not the narrow path to life.

Are you denying the divinity of Jesus? That is the broad path.
