What many are being obedient to, as I was in the past, is a man-made tradition. We are admonished to follow Godly principles and beware of accepting traditions of men. Notice Paul actually cautions about following tradition in the Colossians scripture referencing water baptism below.

My sincere desire is to point out what the bible says in hopes people will consider and adhere to scripture. We will be judged by the word not what is commonly accepted. (John 12:48)

Col 2:6-12
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
KJV
Amen since you wanting to show what the Bible says so people can consider , consider this

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: ….

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

…Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth;

they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;

and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24, 28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:42

And Paul’s witness to the church and world who heard him of this

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:30-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:9-12‬ ‭

we can know the judge now and his judgements now because he came and spoke them and said to those who heard and believed spread them into all the earth and whoever believed will be saved from the curses and wrath to come in earth

Moses word is. It even like the gospel in that it’s not made to believe but it’s made of outward ordinance and symbolic themes that have no merit in the nt because they are fulfilled in our lord and savior and his priesthood

The commands introduced to the people by apostles such as Peter, Philip, and Paul were actually given by Jesus through the Holy Ghost as stated in Acts.

Acts 1:1-2
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

yes I agree acts is a continuation of the gospel of Luke that’s what he’s referring to that book actually starts here

“Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;

It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:1-4

I agree with you what Jesus preached is the foundation of everything the epistles say thier mijistry in my opinion is this being fulfilled

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:12-15‬ ‭

That is I think anyways the apostles ministries as soon as Peter received the Holy Ghost he rose up and started explaining about Jesus death and resurrection , that all judgement was now his and telling everyone to repent and get baptized into his name for remission of sins and they would receive the holy spirit also

the same things Jesus had taught them they were now understanding better and applying them to everyone else like he said to do they are revelator of the gospel and the prophets are prophecies of the gospel

“Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s ( the whole chapter ) a foretelling 700 plus years before this day that had now come in Christ

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

…Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:24, 26-28, 30-32, 51‬ ‭

It’s why the epistles then say the things they say also about the glorious gospel of grace , the word of reconciliation , the word of life , the gospel of hope , word of truth it’s always coming from what Jesus said that doesn’t make much sense when he said it but does later when they explain what it means in the epistles they see revelation of the gospel further insight into its application to the church

they believed everything Jesus taught them of the gospel which he later revealed to Paul also when he chose him as an apostle . And what they received was an understanding of everything he had preached when they received thre Holy Ghost so they use tbier words and insights to explain and witness of the gospel in deeper more human ways that make sense because we receive the spirit of truth through the gospel and begin to understand it our lakebed a little bit

the epistles are absolutely part of church doctrine they are companions to the four gospels and beko
Us grow and be more like Christ when we study and begin to apply the principles in the epistles to
Life I think we agree
