We've been teasing Liamson about the cheerleader thing, so what would people be surprised to learn about your early years? What were your favorite things to do as a kid?

I'll start since I asked the stupid question :D

- was a cheerleader in 6th, 10th and 11th grade
- Though ever the daredevil, EXTREMELY quiet and shy as a kid; seemed like I was always the new kid
- didn't think of boys in any way but friends until my mid teens
- didn't like dolls, never played Barbies or dressed like a bride or dreamed of the perfect wedding
- my one girlie thing: I always like to dress girlie for church; my entire outfit had to match perfectly, shoes, purse and all

Favorite activites: riding/racing bikes, building ramps for bikes and skateboards, skateboarding, rollerskating (teaching kids to dance on skates was one of my first jobs), baseball, playing Batman (I always had to be Robin), gymnastics.

My mom made me take dance because I was such a tomboy, but it turned out to be one of my favorite things EVER.

In my younger years:

- Never seen girls as having cooties, and never got interested in them until Jr. High
- I used to have a huge passion for building forts in the woods. I made an awesome lean-to around the age of 13; I ended up tearing it down after I had fallen through the top of it while trying to cover it with leaves.
- I was always down for any kind of violence that involved tackling a person with a football.
- I was very, and still am somewhat, shy
- I excelled with straight A's in school until my Freshman year of HS; I thought I was too cool for homework and started sleeping in class.
- I had never had a broken bone until I was 15. From that point on I had at least two injuries per year that required a hospital visit, up until the age of 18
- By 16 I was acting like a heathen: not sure I want to get into this part of my younger years...

When i was 13 my cousin and i used to run around the senior citizen retirement home across the road from her house and bang on the doors, when they would open the door we would start yelling WE NEED SOME TOILET PAPER!! WE NEEED SOME TOILET PAPER!! those poor old people..

When im having a bad day, watching creepy alien storys on the history channel or national geographic always cheers me up

Im horribly shy

I like to throw my cell phone up in the air and see how many times i can clap before it either A hits the ground or B i catch it. Usually its the first of the two which is why my phone is now broken :D

I graduated with 16 people and yet didn't like any of the people in my class.

I was horribly depressed all through school and people mistook that as me being a snob.

Brace yourself! This is a bit weird.....When I was younger I got into the habit of like bobbing my head in and out between telephone poles alongside the road every time I was riding in the back seat of a car. It was like a game or something. It got to the point where I noticed I would be doing it without even thinking about it. Once I realized that this was very strange and didn't want people to see me as a lunatic, I quickly broke the habit. To all the singles in the forum: I can be weird, extremely weird at times, and yes I am very aware of this....haha

Weird stuff...I only eat Skittles, M&M's and such in two's. By colors. It is wrong other wise.

Buying things that in odd numbers freaks me out. Say, 150 paper plates. I can't do it. 200 is fine. 100 is fine. 150 is not.

Seeking_KING_Truth, I don't get along with "normal" people. They tend to mock my inability to eat odd number skittles.

We are more similar than you even know lol. I have a bit of OCD when it comes to numbers, nothing to do with eating by cadies by the twos lol (thats not that weird) lol. I hate odd numbers unless it is the number 7. My television and computer sound always has to be on an even number, the only exception to this is when it is a multiple of 5, then its ok.

When I was in elementary school:

- I fell off a tree and landed on my back when I was about 6.
- after school I enjoyed walking on the roof of my house. Unfortunately I broke several roof tiles.
- enjoyed climbing the pillars of my house and remained at the top for several seconds.
- several times I woke up at 5 am and roller skated with my friends beyond the neighborhood.(People wake up very early in my country)
- played cooking with my sisters. We would make a stove out of 4 bricks and burnt some woodchips. Then we placed a little wok on it and cooked
anything we could cook. The fire went wild once but fortunately we managed to put it out with a wet sack. (It's been a top secret)

Hmmmm, it seems that I was the wildest among y'all.

Oh my. :) I don't like my odd number of years, like right now I'm 35. So I often say I will turn 36 soon. I've said that for 200 days now. Because I like 34, I like 36 but 35 sounds weird.

I'm often counting things over and over in my head. If I can't get them to an even number, I will try it in binary numbers.

People who say "grab a handful" scare me. I need it counted out thanks. :)

You would be very much afraid of me then. I would grab two handfulls of skittles with the colors all mixed up and try to cram them in my mouth just to make you feel uncomfortable :D haha....Then I would say something like "MMMM I can taste the rainbow!"

Yes, that would freak me out. But I would turn your television volume up to 12 and wait for you to notice :p

I won't make any other comments besides this one, now that I realize I am the only normal person on CC.

You all might think I'm a snob for my normalcy.

Hardly. I'd say good for you.

And who mentioned being wild?

In my younger days, I bungee jumped off a bridge, jumped of a cliff into the ocean, jumped off a bridge into a river but my toe caught a rock and was almost sliced off which required sowing back on, and I went sky diving more than once. I got my first tattoo at 15 and pierced my own nose.

In looking back, I don't know if I would call it wild or just stupid. Youth, I spent mine imperviously.

Jullianna you just made my day.... i remember the old young years :D

When i was a bit younger i was:

- shy very very veeeerrryyy shy :D .... and i never had self esteem... *sigh* well i was the human target for some ppl i got bullied and stuff after a lil or long while i got sick and tired of that stuff so i turned to be a very very bad girl...(btw it was elementary school) so every one who just tried to look wrong at me got beaten up .... ( poor kids :D )

- I've never done any homework until my teacher called my parents... but i didnt least for a long time :D
the teachers send always letters to my parents but my parents never received them ... i faked the signature.... once i got caught...
well, i was really stubborn...

- i had always older friends than me.... so thats why i think i started very early to think abt guys....i guess this was the top topic when we came together!!!
there was no time to play with dolls and i actually had just one barbie and i broke it on the first day i got it ..... i broke the legs ,from barbie :D so my mom told me ,you never get a barbie again....

my Favorite activities were:

play tic tac toe, piano , draw, skipping, play in the forrest cowboys and indian, play in hte sandbox with my brother , we had lil cars to play in the sand... my mom didnt really like that we brought a lot of sand in our house....
and at the age i guess from 8 - 15 i always wanted to be an actress :D

i liked to take a brush and sing in front of the mirror :D but i didnt like that when someone have seen it (i felt emberassed) so than i just took the brush went to the washroom and closed the door and started to sing :D lol

well... i liked my childhood ... there were some good and bad times....

Jullianna thank you for this thread !!! :D that just makes me smile :D
