We all have had our expectations/check list/buck list of qualities that we want in a partner. Some of those things never change.
1. Loyalty
2. Dependability
3. Reliability
Are mine. Those haven't changed. But in my 20's, I had a much larger expectation. Then, I came to realize that was very limiting to God and to me. Paul was one of the prolific changed lives in the Bible but if we just looked at his past and dismissed him, that would be a shame on our part.
My expectations were shattered in a very harsh way. Now in my 30's, I realize I could meet anyone on earth and they could potentially be "it". (don't go hiding under a rock, I'm not actively searching right now
) What I mean is, the three things above haven't changed. I want those. Everything else is sideline gravy.
My question to you is, what has changed or what hasn't changed as life has progressed for you?
