It is written in John 5:24 that everlasting life begins at the moment of first faith and that from that point a man passes from death unto everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation from that point forward.Nicodemus was a pharisee who came to Jesus by night saying; Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one could do these signs that you do, unless God was with him. Many say well Nicodemus didn't say the right words and so he isn't a believer. I tell you Nicodemus was a believer in the Lord Jesus and was not teaching how to be saved.
Strong's # 509 defines it as born anew, born again, or born from above. Nicodemus being a pharisee belleved in the resurrection but was ignorant how the resurrection took place. he took the greek word anothen and did pick born again. In his vision he saw one entering the kingdom to come in flesh and blood. This is why the Lord corrected him in saying: are you a teacher in all Israel and you do not understand this?
Most of you are blind to the fact Nicodemus was a believer, and the Pharisees got their understanding of the resurrection from the scriptures like the dry bones story which many are hooked on the belief it is about Israel coming back as a nation.
The question was how does one enter the kingdom of God? One must be born from above in a spirit body for the physical comes first then the spiritual, and flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of God. There are many here who think they are already in the Kingdom, but we are only sealed for the Kingdom although The Spirit lives within us.
I believe in truth and with stand before Jesus with this testimony
I'm not suggesting you should leave. I would like to know your answers to my questions. You are not obliged to, of course. I've never come across a Christian who rejects the idea of being born again. Mormons and JW's do reject the idea but I do not class them as Christian.@Gideon300

It is by faith we believe. Also obey. Without faith it is impossible to please Him . How do we receive the mercy God extends to us ? By faith. How do we come to Jesus.? Faith. How do we obey? We act. Come unto me all that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. We act. . Faith came by hearing and hearing by the Word of God("Being born-again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible by the word of God which liveth forever and ever KJV (1 Peter 1:23) It is doctrine. Did we act upon the conviction of our sins > ? did we have our come to Jesus moment ? did we repent and receive Him ? "He that has the Son has life and He that has not the Son of God has not life. "When were you saved , right then. " Now Satan is going to fight this in the form of a counter theology but the scripture in context is all you need for absolute truth and the Spirit of God will bear witness. Ephesians 1:13,14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth , the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of his glory. KJV
Hello again Sister, I believe that this short teaching series, from Dr. R. C. Sproul (a Presbyterian theologian and pastor), may contain most (all?) of the answers that you are seeking, and I believe that it's free to listen to and/or watch online right now toofrom my understanding, being born again is having Jesus's holy spirit come live inside of you and being a new creation in Jesus, but how can I be sure that I am born again ? I am wondering if it happens in an instant moment as soon as you trust Jesus as Savior, or if it is a process, and what scriptures could help clarify this for me ? I am feeling pretty lost on this topic right now and would love to have a more educated understanding on how to be assured that you are born again in Jesus

You're teaching falsely, the new birth is taught by our Lord and the apostles. Here are a couple verses that come to mind.It is by faith we believe, not some good feel physical condition. I'm the odd ball here on CC so expect the unexpected. I do not believe in the born again doctrine. I believe Jesus was teaching the resurrection. and how to enter the kingdom and it is not by flesh and blood. Imagine jesus never mentioned being born again, nor his apostles, nor the apostles's disciples, nor the church for 1900 years, even those from the reformation like John Calvin and Martin Luther never mention such. This born again rubbish was started about 100 years ago maybe by well intentional preachers, but it is another doctine of man, and not God.
The Holy Spirit will bear witness to you as to whether you have been born again.how can I be sure that I am born again ?

You're teaching falsely, the new birth is taught by our Lord and the apostles. Here are a couple verses that come to mind.
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and father... who has caused us to be born again...
1 Peter 1:23 for you have been born again...
The new birth is taught throughout scripture, a foundational doctrine known of Christians: those born from above by Spirit.
But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 1 Corinthians 2:14
Understand not this simple doctrine and it is likely you who are in the flesh regurgitating doctrines of man.
As per Revelation 14:7-12from my understanding, being born again is having Jesus's holy spirit come live inside of you and being a new creation in Jesus, but how can I be sure that I am born again ? Yes, to repentance. So my friend before you set that bar so high remember Jesus came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance .
