Actually, the TEXT itself shows that: "He SHALL SEND His angels... and THEY shall gather His elect from the four winds..." (i.e. from where they had been "SCATTERED") - Matthew 24:31 https://biblehub.com/matthew/24-31.htm

[at the same "GREAT" trumpet referred to in Isaiah 27:[9]12-13]
Yeah, and the angels operate of their own accord - got it.

By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command,
with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.
After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

Yeah, the LORD gives the command for His gathering of the Saints together in Him.

And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says:
“Let all God’s angels worship Him.”

Yeah, those angels obey the LORD and HE will send them for His gathering - make no mistake about it.

Ewq, I considered you a 'friend on this site--but sending this was a low blow and uncalled for

It was a low blow but the blow came from you. All I did is change YOUR WORDS to Amill so you could see how low the words YOU SAID TO ME actually were.

The gathering Paul spoke of was in the air, the gathering Jesus spoke of was on earth.

Jesus is not seen at the gathering in air, it takes place in a moment, the twinkling of an eye. But every eye will see Him at the gathering on earth at the Second Coming.

Jesus plainly said in Matt. 25 when He comes the nations will be gathered before Him.

The LORD, the Apostles and the Prophets only speak of a single Event of His First Coming and a single Event of His Second Coming.

When HE Comes it will be in the Clouds until All the Saints are Resurrected and remaining Saints are gathered.

Once the Resurrection is complete and the remaining Saints are gathered, then His Feet will stand upon the earth bringing Judgment upon the wicked.

There's one gathering and it happens at first on Earth (where the people are), and then brings them upwards to the clouds.

So the resurrected saints come out of the grave, meet Jesus in the air just come back down with Him?

No, I don't think so! I like my version better.

I didnt say that to you, I said it to David A. I don't think I've ever seen anyone on any forum yet who is gracious enough to apologize.

Doesn't change that the words are yours and when I repeated them to you, you got very upset. Again, those were your own words and if you were upset by them then you shouldn't have said them first.

When someone says something that many would find offensive, I send them back to them so they can see just how bad the words were.

Which would be dead are in heaven, leave heaven to go meet with their dead bodies, resurrect and rise back up to the clouds of the Earth, then return to heaven. That doesn't make sense.

Mine is the dead resurrect in heaven, follow Christ to the clouds where they wait for the living saints to change and be raptured up to the clouds to form his complete army, and then that army follows Christ down to Armageddon. After that, the thousand years begins with that same army ruling with Christ over the nations with a rod of iron.

This means the dead in Christ will be given the privilege's of being risen and changed BEFORE the living in Christ are changed.

It all happens in an instant.

Good grief, I have no response for this!

Oh my gosh, ewq--i'm not upset about the words and you know that--i'm upset that will all the other stuff--on and on and on, you decided to add to it. The fact is I see a lot of opinions here, along with arrogance and very little scripture.

FIRST means FIRST and AFTER means AFTER

The Resurrection has the Priviledge of being FIRST just as Scripture makes this clear distinction.

Transformation of our natural bodies into the Supernatural is the "instant" split second change.

GOD will not reverse His Order - that is what satan always seeks to do, as we see it in full effect today.

I didn't add to it. I only wanted to show you your own part of it so you could tone it down and take the high road. Things like this start with someone crossing a line, then that makes someone do the same and suddenly all these mean spirited posts are all over the place.

I agree with what you have posted, because it's correct. But, the resurrection of the dead happens after the Great Tribulation which is this timeframe:

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

There was not a resurrection of the dead before the Great Tribulation started.

And it happens together before the tribulation begins!
