FFXIV is the best mmo out there imo. If you decide to join, I’m in a Christian guild on the Behemoth server that’s is pretty friendly.
My best friend used to play that. Don't ask me what guild or server.

His favorite NPC was the blacksmith who didn't really want to work, so he sent you off on wild fetch quests where he hoped you would get killed. "Man, why do they make adventurers so DURABLE these days?!"

Anyone play any good games? When im not working on my own games I like to play them. Right now I'm playing the rereleased Skyward Sword for the switch and Im playing Donkey Kong 64 for N64.
I've been wanting to buy DK64 again for a playthrough. I guess it's cheap enough...I have had a 64 that I bought close to a year ago just sitting in a box...been meaning to at least buy DK64, Mario 64 and Mario Party 1 but I haven't got around to it yet. Might get a few more, but some look dated and some don't and some are too expensive :p

Maybe even Stadium to play through Yellow.

DK64 is a rather LONG game if I recall aright. Compared to Mario 64 at least. I remember finally getting to the final boss in college but I don't remember actually defeating it.

It's kind of funny though because when I played it as a child it took me FOREVER to get past the factory. Years probably. So when I got to the later ones when I was older and did a replay, it was like a HUGE game expansion lol. Hard to explain the feeling if you haven't ever reached a skill wall and laid aside a game for years.

I felt the same way Ocarina of Time. I was stuck at the Water Temple for literally years. I even had a guide book and was still stuck. When I figured it out the rest of the game was easy. I never have an issue with the water Temple now, even the Master Quest versions.

Thanks! I’m aware of FFXIV due to all the WoW streamers switching over, but I didn’t want to commit to something really big so soon after leaving WoW. How much is FF? Box price + sub? If the price is right I may join you.

I’ve been eyeing an MMO in development called Palia, but it probably won’t be out for another 2 years or so.

Sub is the same as wow… box is 60 but they do have sales from time to time half off. Expansion is 40. There might be cheaper ways to get in… best way to find out is to ask in FFXIV Reddit page.

Ya I still remember watching a friend of mine going back and forth and back and forth trying to figure out what to do in probably OoT when I was 6ish. The music kept changing and it's pretty stuck in my mind :p
