To argue for anything without evidence and then to ignorantly substitute evidence with the word faith and call it proof is to deny reality. While some forms of atheism are arrogant I do believe that agnosticism is the correct stance on this issue and until further evidence is displayed on the side that is arguing to prove something exists instead of taking the default position which is to deny something that lacks demonstrable evidence. I do very wish this poll had a "No, but there is a chance" option I could pick so as to not sound so arrogant, but unfortunately, this is not the case.

I do object to the idea of organized religion in the sense that they are almost based entirely on myths which are often disproved using modern scientific research, conductive thinking, and logic. They also serve to promote violence, discrimination, and serve to make others think better of themselves than others.

Absence of evidence does not mean evidence of absence, this is correct. However, as Robert Flint said

Prophecies that are fulfilled are evidence of God. It takes five minutes to google a list of fulfilled prophecies from the Bible. Anyone who hasn't done 5 minutes worth of research and yet is spouting off about being an agnostic on a Christian forum cannot be taken seriously.

You don't need to convince me, you will have your day in court with the Lord. Go ahead and tell Him that where the Bible says "everyone will be without excuse" that this does not apply to you.

Believe me I am here because I need answers to my questions. I know the meaning of being believer, by the way I am an Ex-Muslim left Islam 10 years ago.

And why should that be a problem for anyone? The Old Testament has not changed over a period of over 3,500 years. The Isaiah Scroll found within the Dead Sea Scrolls dates from around 300 BC. But it is practically identical to the Leningrad Codex book of Isaiah, which dates from around 1,000 AD. But Moses wrote the Torah around 1,500 BC and we have it in the Old Testament found in our Bibles.

If there is any book that demands your total acceptance it is the Old Testament. And the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed in the Hebrew Tanakh according to His own words.

Funnily enough, some will say just that :rolleyes::oops: Stephen Hawking wrote, “Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist.”

I have a strong feeling that Stephen Hawking found out the true meaning of "NOTHING".

We all know that the original copies of the Bible, whether the New Testament or the Old Testament, have been lost and disappeared and no longer exist.. But the manuscripts that exist today are allegedly copied from the original manuscripts.. Note that the manuscripts that exist today are hundreds of years between them and the (original manuscripts).
