Truly . . . the answer to this question is all that matters. If a person has [not] received the gift of the Holy Spirit, anything done in this life is meaningless (including all discussions within this forum).

The next question is . . . how can a person know for sure that they have received the Spirit?

Matthew 7:19-20 NLT - "So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions." - In other words, who has a Roman's 12:2 Transformation story to tell? Has Christ changed you by His Effectual Power in a way that you could not change yourself?

Matthew 7:21-23 NLT - "Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws."

So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”
Luke 11:13 NASB2020

If you have asked God for the Holy Spirit, he has given it to you. The same as when you receive salvation. You ask, you confess and you receive. As you allow The Spirit to work in you, changes will become evident and fruit will be produced.

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Somehow I have a feeling this is leading back to the new apostolic movement.

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

You used the wrong scriptures. That is NOT how those in Acts 10 knew people were filled. They knew because they heard them speak with tongues. I think you are mixing up the regeneration experience (being born again) with the mighty baptism in the Holy Spirit can comes AFTER someone is born again. These are two very different experiences. In Salvation the Holy Spirit is the seal WITHIN one's spirit, but in the mighty baptism in the Holy Spirit, one is anointed with the Holy Spirit and Acts says "on" or "upon."

Ok. Except that the point that I was making is that the vast majority of "christians" believe that they're saved when they're not. The proof is in the pudding.

Trust in God, trust in Men.
Pretty simple concept, isn't it?

Romans 2:29 KJV - "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

And of course, what is the hinging factor? (Drum roll please . . . As 2TG spins on like a broken record) Circumcision of the Heart. Go figure.

Thank you for asking, good sir.

I have been Indwelt by the Holy Spirit
I have been Consumed by the Holy Spirit (Encapsulated within His Almighty Power)
I [am] being Controlled by the Holy Spirit

Why? The Heart of the Bible explains those Three points above:

Colossians 2:9-15 NLT - "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

Where is “church spirit” mentioned in the Bible?
😂😂😂

John 16:33
King James Version

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Be of good cheer is the motto of cheerleading for Christ. Cheer spirit must be achieved with a warm courageous and confident flamboyant attitude.

Definitely not. When I was Powerfully Indwelt and Purified by the Spirit, God made one unheard but implanted message very clear . . .

"I do not require you."
