If you had plenty of money (but weren't famous or rich), would u see things differently? I think I would be a much more well-adjusted individual. My shyness would be a thing of the past. I'd probably start talking to everyone I meet to the point of annoying them. How about you? Do u think that having more money than you need in your life would change the way you view life or change your personality?

Well, I would say, and if you sit down and think about it, it sounds true.
Money just is not everything in life, has the ability to impact our thoughts, our desires, our motivations, our personalities, our brains. But if we are relying on God, money as we all know is never guaranteed, it can be lost, spent, start to not mean anythin to us, even bring depression, and then a change in us or life needs to happen.
But you have a brain, that acts independently, if need by, of the involvement of money. It is also affected and molded by hard work, education, study, relationships, connectivity and love with others and animals, how you perceive others and the actual/real treatment you have received from them.
So, you can take control of your brain!!!! After all when all else is gone, it's raining, a snowstorm, job lost, husband/wife in a bad mood, your human ability just cannot make all things the way they should be, the ignorance and sinful natures of others that are sinning against you. You still have a brain!!!!!!! And miracoulousy God gave it to you, so use it!!!!
There has been research that even into adulthood, your brain can grow new neurons, that is part of the brain tissue that sends messages throughout the brain, and eyes, and even the body so that our body receives certain messages at certain times. You don't have to get Alzheimer's! Amen to CREATION!!!!
I know we need money to pay rent, buy food, clothes, but did the God who created the earth, create money? No, it is man made. But God gave us minds, and knowledge, so man created money to a solution to life and order on earth. And it is a source of temptation, and quite frankly anger when we don't have any, and we deserve or should, and are ready to handle it.
Just my one human view, opinion, knowledge, input this morning.

I think maybe the only thing that would change is that I would travel more and be able to help more folks. At least I hope that's all that would change....
And maybe I could convince myself to work less, but I would probably just end up going to law school.

i think i would be building something like a christian school or special place to help children sick or without money( i have wanted this since i was a child), traveling, buying a lot of clothes 
maybe would be more busy but my general point of view of life would be the same.

I'm actually a little confused by the title and some people's answers. If I had plenty of money, but I wasn't "rich", wouldn't that be a middle-class/upper-middle-class lifestyle? If so, I assume I'd live like my parents have been doing the past 20-odd years. I'd provide for my family, make sure their needs were filled, I'd give tithes to my church, and I'd pay for my bills. I wouldn't be living extravagently, and I wouldn't throw my money away on anything like giant purchases (Unless I knew I could afford it. However, my family would deserve the rare "fun-thing" after all, if it was in my capabilities to provide it. (Pool, ATV, etc)

Well, have you ever noticed how grown-ups seem overall more worried about life than young people and are sometimes bitter? I think a lot of that bitterness stems from struggles with money. Someone struggling with money who has worked hard for many years or someone who may have suffered some major financial setbacks may start to become more withdrawn and pessimistic about life.
There was a study conducted a few years ago which showed that having as little as 3 or 4 thousand dollars of credit card debt can actually affect a person's attitude and personality, meaning that they become more cautious, pessimistic and worried about things in general.
